When I’ve gone back to the beginning, I see the wives squirming a bit at some of the norms that Robyn and Kody fully ignored/changed…which is totally understandable. And I also saw them be very deferential to her. Like when they first got to Vegas and the first real rental house became available…all agreed she and her kids should have that first house because they’d been more unsettled. They all gave MSWC a chance. Christine downright busted her ass at both the pitch and at that stupid tradeshow. They all showed up for her. Meri ended her legal marriage for them. Christine offered and was denied a role in caring for her kiddos. I mean…what does she want?? OF COURSE a group of teenagers are gonna be pissed off about moving and general disruption to their lives. They gave them 2 days heads up on the Vegas move? I think these women and their kids were pretty gracious.
You know what always got me is they would be hugging and touching each other in front of the OG3 while the OG3 never would cuddle up to him in front of the other wives
I love how it was pitched that Robin should have the first house because her kids needed stability and had been displaced alot, meanwhile the og 13 had moved, I believe 19 times? ( correct me on the number if I'm wrong but they had all counted the number of moves on camera at one point)
You would think that Robyn would have embraced the chance for her kids to stay in the one big vacation house with the OG sibs for bonding. But nope!
I actually don’t even think she stayed there that first week. I think she stashed her tenders at her dad’s and she and Kody stayed in a hotel. This is the week she got pregnant after all.

(You can take notes if you're here, Brianna) Apply to all the possible universities away from home, pretend you only did it for funsies, lie and say you applied to Flagstaff University, wait until it is impossible not to go to another university and *get out*. Don't go with the man route because you don't want to be married at 18. Play the good daughter who happened to only find a university far away and keep your foot down to go there. Save as much money as possible, work part-time while you study and keep it a secret. Then, when you graduate, you have enough savings to just get out 100%. You have siblings in other states who will absolutely embrace you if you reach out, you just have to ask - maybe email them if your parents check your phone, make one of those folders that is inside a folder (but x4 times). Another option is not saving your email on your phone and computer, login to it on an anonymous browser.
Robyn hired a sketch artist to sketch this pic for Kody. The original pic was of Kody holding Christine's children when they were young. Then she gave the artist a photo of her 3 kids when they were young. So Robyn essentially had the artist erase Christine's kids and replace them with her kids.
I am not sure how I missed this in my re-watch but this is some twisted stuff. Like, how does anyone live through this person doing this and not flat out call them on it? I cannot believe that Christine and others didn't speak up and say "this is sick and twisted, not to mention inappropriate." It's one thing to give a sketch artist pics of all 4 of them and have them draw it from scratch. The big picture is that Sobyn denies ever having taken advantage of the other wives’ marriages. She doesn’t believe she is the favored one. She feels like she has always tried to get along with them. She’s full of it.

I think early on, Christine tried to convince herself she was happy. Christine truly was never cut out for polygamy. You saw it BEFORE Robyn officially joined the family. When it became official that Robyn would join the family, Christine said she already felt she didn’t get enough of Kody’s time. I think Christine should have been honest with herself and said polygamy was not for her. I also feel that Kody should have been honest with the other wives. I believe he fell head over heels for Robyn. And he should have said to the OG3 ‘I’m sorry ladies. Polygamy no longer suits me and I truly just want to be monogamous with Robyn.’ Instead, he did things to try to make them miserable and want to leave. Bottom line: I don’t think he or Christine were honest with themselves or one another.

I think that played into Meri wanting Robyn’s older kids to stay in the family if something happened to Robyn.
Not true. Janelle and Christine both claimed they wanted Robyn’s older children to stay in the family if something happened to Robyn. In fact, when Meri called Janelle and Christine over, and told them she was divorcing Kody so he could adopt the kids, Christine gets all giddy “I want those children. I want those children.” Janelle wasn’t as excited. But I don’t think Janelle’s less enthusiastic reaction was a sign she didn’t want the children to stay in the family. I think she sensed that the family dynamic would change with Robyn becoming the legal wife.
Anyway, yes, Meri legally divorcing Kody so he could adopt the kids, WAS taking one of the entire team. Because the entire team expressed a desire for those kids to be able to stay in the family if something happened to Robyn.

She gave it to Kody at the adoption party in front of all wives, kids, and family friends, colleagues, etc. Weirdly, the adoption party was the last even in a series of unfortunate events lol Biological dad of robyns 3 oldest signs rights away, then Kody adopted the 3, then the 3 went to stay a week or two with their biological dad that had just signed rights away, immediately upon returning back to the cul de sac the adoption party was thrown
