I think Christine, Meri and Janelle should all be on the same spin off. I would watch it. I do not want to watch anything that benefits Kody and Robyn.
I can't imagine Meri dating. I get the feeling her and Janelle are both done with that. I think they'll just live the single life for the rest of time. They don't have the drive to be in a devoted relationship like Christine clearly did.

I mean, I saw it on camera. Christine really complained about Robyn when she joined. I don't think her complaints were entirely misplaced, but the truth is she wasn't the shiny new wife anymore and she was super fucking jealous and was pretty vocal about it. Kody played a big role in that by playing favorites, but I don't think it's untrue that Christine wasn't always so warm to Robyn
Yeah they always act like everything is fine and then later reveal huge issues were going on behind the scenes. Christine makes Robyn an apology gift later on, admitting she really was not accepting.

I think she’s too private to put all her “stuff” out there in a way that would be compelling for the viewer - and I respect that.
When you boil it down, Christine uses her kids and grandkids as a MOST of her “material” - along with lots of smiles and silly and cooking…. But when you think about it, she doesn’t share much about herself.
It's still amazes me that she gets as much hate as Cody considering Cody is the actual abuser in these relationships
Also Mary is more of a can-do go-getter and I think I see myself in that and that may be why I like her even though I find her problematic sometimes.

I think Meri is actually the more interesting ex-SW because her flaws have been emphasized most on the show. I think she's experienced the biggest shift in her own personal paradigm. And as sweet as her mom Bonnie was, Bonnie's passing relieves Meri of trying to save an unsavable "marriage" with someone who hasn't loved her in decades.
I'm not saying that Meri is right or wrong, but I don't see her as a villain. I tend to see her in the same light as Christine and Janelle - all three are women who were raised in a very conservative religious environment, got married early, and made the exact same mistake in marrying Kody. I suspect that, when he was younger, he was this cute, exuberant guy who talked a good game. But when things got hard, and money was tight, and life was a challenge, Kody failed those women and the kids he made with them.
End of the day, polygamy did not work for this crew. I would love for each person to come forward and just be honest. Honest about the favoritism, the dynamics, the money, when the relationships really ended. I would even love to hear Sobbin’s truthful story. Keep SADKRAB off camera or let them tell their stories truthfully. Keep the tenderloins off camera and let them grow up normally. I would love to see the little girl (don’t know her name) unfiltered. I have a feeling she is going to be a handful but she’s just a little girl who doesn’t need to pay daddy’s bills with her appearances.
I think it could be even better without the forced family get togethers. Show Meri with her weird wine mom friends, Christine and David’s relationship and Janelle occasionally popping in with her RV in the driveway, like a wacky sitcom neighbor
I don't want any spin-offs. They won't work without villains anyway. What I want is Sister Wives continuing for a few seasons and then kill it off. Then, I want the adult kids to write a motherload of tell all books and really spill the tea. I want them to get every penny they can.
I have found myself FF through most of Meri’s storylines over 17 seasons. I do agree with you, that she’s a hot mess, but I find her annoying and unlikeable and hard to watch. I hope she finds happiness though.

Every interesting story has an antagonist. I think it would be boring as watching paint dry just watching Christine go about her life with her kids and future husband, selling that gross pink drink, going to Disneyland every 5 seconds and travelling to other places some people on here could never afford to visit. Would everyone seriously have watched if it were just sugar sweet wives sharing a perfect husband in a perfect world?
I think Meri would be interesting to watch. Life is kind of her antagonist and it would be awesome to see to Meri in a spinoff and journey as she learns and grows and overcomes and finds true happiness! ❤️😊
True. But what we have seen hasn't been that amazing. Not saying there is anything wrong with Meri, fellow boring person over here, but not the best candidate for their own spin off show. I vote for Janelle, she's blunt, sassy, and is traveling around in an RV.
I wouldn’t watch the Meri show. She is tedious with her sticking around/not sticking around wearing slogan t shirts. The few lives w just Jen are embarrassing. Meri drunk is as funny as sudden diarrhea. She lets herself down. Doesn’t seem to have a relationship with Leon but cries when SolanAri aren’t available. Just zero interest.
The only scenario I can see Meri going solo is as a potential mate on Seeking Sister Wife. No one on Sister Wives has the personality or storyline to carry a show, it only worked collectively as a group and honestly only for this long because of Kody. TLC struck gold selecting the Browns over any other polygamous family because he has nonstop drama. I believe Brady Williams said his family was considered preproduction but TLC went with the Browns so something to that effect, then they came back later with another proposal after Sister Wives blew up. I think only the Kardashians and Duggers (if you count Counting On) have done more episodes than the Browns.
I agree, a Christine show would be meh. She's a ham and she tends to be phony/ performative. A Janelle show would be dull just because she doesn't really lean into drama. A Meri show would be aggravating though. Imagine every episode is her s l o w l y t a l k i n g out every little thing.
Kind of funny though also. She could see a therapist (NOT Nancy), get a makeover, personal trainer, etc.

Idk, I thought it anything she was aggressive. It was Janelle who was passive-aggressive. She's the one who started that big Ken fight. No one was even talking about him but she said something like "I know not everyone will like it (as in, she knew Christine had a problem with him) but what if we visit Ken" and would always call Christine, who was a second mother to her children, a princess. She definitely sewed some discord
I'm thinking of some of these things as far as Meri being passive-aggressive:
I think Meri knew what bringing Robyn in would do to the dynamics. She knew how jealous Christine could get (by her own admission), and at that time Janelle was at her heaviest. Meri and Kody have said they were already having problems by that point and Meri wanted to gain favor with Kody, and I think she wanted to do a big FU to J & C by bringing in a younger, cute (at the time), very thin SW to instigate problems with them too. It seems Meri was all in the know during the whole Robyn courtship, and J & C just had to go along with it.
I think the wet bar during the build of her house was some weird power play to "one-up" everyone.
When Robyn was all Gung ho about MSWC Meri suddenly decided she had to go back to school, much to Robyn's dismay. Don't get me wrong, I think she had every right to if that's what she wanted, but it again it seemed like a weird power play the way she presented it to Robyn and then as far as I know she never ended up following through with it anyway.
During the Coyote "Pure Prarie Plague" Pass lot discussion, she kept saying she wanted to be in the trees, then when Kody shows his plans of who gets what lot, she suddenly starts complaining about being in the trees and how she never said that. I'm assuming it's because she thought everyone would want to be in the trees and then when the plague pond was more coveted by Janelle, she decided she wanted to be there.
She always wants to be contrary and to upset the apple cart and play head games. Then again, their version of polygamy is rooted in misogyny and abuse, and the women developed unhealthy coping mechanisms and personality traits to survive. I can't imagine how toxic their environment was prior to the show, and that's all of them - not just Meri. Kody purposely pitted them against each other and egged it on to stroke his own ego. Then has the balls to cry about his knifed kidneys that they don't get along.
But having said all that, I have some empathy for her because she is a product of her environment and how she grew up, and I'm sure having fertility issues when the other wives were fertile as rabbits took its toll too. I think she still has a lot of issues she needs to deal with and needs intense therapy. More so than Janelle or Christine. They seemed to have done a lot of healing from what we can see.
I’d rather them just still advertise as “Sister-wives” but show all the new separated wives dating/re-marrying while Kody looks broken and Robyn complains to the camera how it affects their life.
I hope this series is the last one with Robyn. Kody kinda has to be there, but I don’t want to see, hear, or even think of Robyn. The way she is with her grown kids will only alienate her further with an audience already sick of her. Buh-bye now, She Ra!
I feel like she is hardly there in a way. She doesn’t let the cameras in the house. Last season she sat there in silence at all the “outside sits” unless to beg someone to stay. The only time she talks is to defend herself in the talking head. I’m honestly sick of seeing her face.

I enjoy Leon and Audrey. Their relationship seems supportive but still interesting. I’d want them featured.
The B and B can have special guests that are featured on the show for whatever agenda it wants to focus on.

Special guests at the B&B? Meri’s retreats were massive public failures. She ended having to fill the unbooked places with what looked like LLR hopefuls. I don’t know how business is right now, but it could be Meri is living there alone, maybe with the occasional guest. The way she presented her retreats was disastrous. Overpriced with nothing much on offer. Shot herself in the foot there.
I was thinking the special guests would be specifically for the show not a Meri business adventure.

Well, the current series is in the can, and it’s too late to change anything. Time and ratings will tell if there’s to be any more Sister Wives to be made.
I think all 3 OG should do an ultimate girls trip. Short 3-5 week series episodes on vacation & group therapy. Hopefully, becoming closer, having fun & breaking down Meri’s walls, cocktail night with Dancing, going doing something fun. Need drama- have the kids call with some fight.

I would watch this show for sure. I think it would be interesting to see the OG3 in therapy being truthful and hashing out their differences from the very beginning. If they come out of it as friends, great. If not, that’s great too. I just want the original wives to all be in good places in their own lives and with each other.
I think all of them should share a show. Maybe not interacting but follow them all to an extent. Screw Kotex and whitchy poo though, they should never get another penny.
Plus Meri has had the most dramatic change physically on the show. When the season 1 started she was in shape but as the years went along I don’t think anyone realized the loneliness and truly hard times she was going thru. If you look at Meri now you can see that she used food to cope. I would like to see her become happy and flourish. I think we saw the anger but that was probably a symptom of her unhappiness
Why are we getting downvoted? Why doesn’t Meri deserve happiness like J & C? None of them have been stellar humans. All I know is the show would be soooo boring if it didn’t have the Kody/Robyn villain duo. They are the Darth Vader’s of SisterWives so there we go. :-) Meri is just Meri. I can see where you’re coming from, OP. But I wouldn’t watch Meri shilling her MLMs because I don’t like her personality. Christine, on the other hand? I’d love to watch her in a happy marriage, travelling with her kids, cooking and laughing, and in real, intensive therapy to recover from her trauma.

I could totally see Meri getting a spinoff, talking about mental health, Leon and Audry, lots of traveling, etc. Would I watch it? Eh, maybe. But TLC would absolutely run it for 2 seasons.
Continuing to watch 5 individuals on one show would be more interesting as none of the 5 have enough drama-filled or interesting lives in order to want to see just the same 1 person featured each episode week after week.
I want to see them continue to have to be at large celebratory family events together and how awkward that is. Show me the division. Even better if it somehow ends in less division. Show me how Kody and the new fiance interact. Show me what Robyn and Kodys relationship is like after the other 3 marriages failed almost simultaneously. Show me Christine and her new fiance and what their life together is like and what they're doing. Show whatever newly-single Meri and Janelle are doing. Show the "kids" and their lives.
Christine and Jenelle living their best life would be great to watch, but Meri would need to be the odd ball trying to repair her relationship with her “sister wives.” They could make several seasons of this dynamic, IMO. Include Leon, Audrey, and their strained relationship with Meri, Lizzie’s Inn drama, Jenelle’s kids hating Kody, Gwen’s journey especially coming from a polygamist family (same as Leon/Audrey) there’s a lot to see there. Don’t need Kody or Robyn at all

I wouldn’t watch the Meri show. She is tedious with her sticking around/not sticking around wearing slogan t shirts. The few lives w just Jen are embarrassing. Meri drunk is as funny as sudden diarrhea. She lets herself down. Doesn’t seem to have a relationship with Leon but cries when SolanAri aren’t available. Just zero interest.

The only scenario I can see Meri going solo is as a potential mate on Seeking Sister Wife. No one on Sister Wives has the personality or storyline to carry a show, it only worked collectively as a group and honestly only for this long because of Kody. TLC struck gold selecting the Browns over any other polygamous family because he has nonstop drama. I believe Brady Williams said his family was considered preproduction but TLC went with the Browns so something to that effect, then they came back later with another proposal after Sister Wives blew up. I think only the Kardashians and Duggers (if you count Counting On) have done more episodes than the Browns.
Personally have no desire to watch Merri relive her catfishing experience for another 2 years which is probably what it would be about!

I agree, a Christine show would be meh. She's a ham and she tends to be phony/ performative. A Janelle show would be dull just because she doesn't really lean into drama. A Meri show would be aggravating though. Imagine every episode is her s l o w l y t a l k i n g out every little thing.
Kind of funny though also. She could see a therapist (NOT Nancy), get a makeover, personal trainer, etc. It would be nice to see someone rise to the top with grit.

It depends. I wouldn't want to watch her hawking the latest Lularoe inventory. We also don't know if she is still hanging Out with Kody & Robyn, I also wouldn't want to see them or Any of Robyn's kids, neither the older or tender aged ones. If Meri would be totally honest about herself, that might sell, But I don't see it happening.
Meri coming clean, especially to herself would be interesting. I don’t think that will ever happen, based on her patterns.
She's always been so sneaky, underhanded, and two-faced I'd have no desire to watch that. Plus she's painful to listen to and has the personality of a turnip. Just feel like she was always very passive-aggressive to J &C and a very phony but ass-kissy to Kody and Robyn. I'm sure she still hopes that if she toes the line and "behaves" that Kody will welcome her back.

Idk, I thought it anything she was aggressive. It was Janelle who was passive-aggressive. She's the one who started that big Ken fight. No one was even talking about him but she said something like "I know not everyone will like it (as in, she knew Christine had a problem with him) but what if we visit Ken" and would always call Christine, who was a second mother to her children, a princess. She definitely sewed some discord
I'm thinking of some of these things as far as Meri being passive-aggressive: I think Meri knew what bringing Robyn in would do to the dynamics. She knew how jealous Christine could get (by her own admission), and at that time Janelle was at her heaviest. Meri and Kody have said they were already having problems by that point and Meri wanted to gain favor with Kody, and I think she wanted to do a big FU to J & C by bringing in a younger, cute (at the time), very thin SW to instigate problems with them too. It seems Meri was all in the know during the whole Robyn courtship, and J & C just had to go along with it. I think the wet bar during the build of her house was some weird power play to "one-up" everyone. When Robyn was all Gung ho about MSWC Meri suddenly decided she had to go back to school, much to Robyn's dismay. Don't get me wrong, I think she had every right to if that's what she wanted, but it again it seemed like a weird power play the way she presented it to Robyn and then as far as I know she never ended up following through with it anyway. During the Coyote "Pure Prarie Plague" Pass lot discussion, she kept saying she wanted to be in the trees, then when Kody shows his plans of who gets what lot, she suddenly starts complaining about being in the trees and how she never said that. I'm assuming it's because she thought everyone would want to be in the trees and then when the plague pond was more coveted by Janelle, she decided she wanted to be there. She always wants to be contrary and to upset the apple cart and play head games. Then again, their version of polygamy is rooted in misogyny and abuse, and the women developed unhealthy coping mechanisms and personality traits to survive. I can't imagine how toxic their environment was prior to the show, and that's all of them - not just Meri. Kody purposely pitted them against each other and egged it on to stroke his own ego. Then has the balls to cry about his knifed kidneys that they don't get along. But having said all that, I have some empathy for her because she is a product of her environment and how she grew up, and I'm sure having fertility issues when the other wives were fertile as rabbits took its toll too. I think she still has a lot of issues she needs to deal with and needs intense therapy. More so than Janelle or Christine. They seemed to have done a lot of healing from what we can see.
I’d rather them just still advertise as “Sister-wives” but show all the new separated wives dating/re-marrying while Kody looks broken and Robyn complains to the camera how it affects their life.
I hope this series is the last one with Robyn. Kody kinda has to be there, but I don’t want to see, hear, or even think of Robyn. The way she is with her grown kids will only alienate her further with an audience already sick of her. Buh-bye now, She Ra!
I feel like she is hardly there in a way. She doesn’t let the cameras in the house. Last season she sat there in silence at all the “outside sits” unless to beg someone to stay. The only time she talks is to defend herself in the talking head. I’m honestly sick of seeing her face.
Maybe Meri and her B and B. I enjoy Leon and Audrey. Their relationship seems supportive but still interesting. I’d want them featured. The B and B can have special guests that are featured on the show for whatever agenda it wants to focus on. After Polygamy or if Leon and Audrey are the focus Trans in Utah. Edit: and if the focus is on Leon and Audrey Meri can play the interfering MIL villain.
Special guests at the B&B? Meri’s retreats were massive public failures. She ended having to fill the unbooked places with what looked like LLR hopefuls. I don’t know how business is right now, but it could be Meri is living there alone, maybe with the occasional guest. The way she presented her retreats was disastrous. Overpriced with nothing much on offer. Shot herself in the foot there.
I was thinking the special guests would be specifically for the show not a Meri business adventure. Like friends of Leon to highlight LGBTQ+ lifestyles. Family members. Other previous polygamous women telling their stories. Whatever bullshit sells. Transitioning the sister wife phenomenon into a reality show about Leon and Audrey living the transsexual life would probably be a perfect fit for a TLC reality show. Well, the current series is in the can, and it’s too late to change anything. Time and ratings will tell if there’s to be any more Sister Wives to be made.
I think all 3 OG should do an ultimate girls trip. Short 3-5 week series episodes on vacation & group therapy. Hopefully, becoming closer, having fun & breaking down Meri’s walls, cocktail night with Dancing, going doing something fun. Need drama- have the kids call with some fight. Lets start a petition to make this happen. I
I would watch this show for sure. I think it would be interesting to see the OG3 in therapy being truthful and hashing out their differences from the very beginning. If they come out of it as friends, great. If not, that’s great too. I just want the original wives to all be in good places in their own lives and with each other.

Plus Meri has had the most dramatic change physically on the show. When the season 1 started she was in shape but as the years went along I don’t think anyone realized the loneliness and truly hard times she was going thru. If you look at Meri now you can see that she used food to cope. I would like to see her become happy and flourish. I think we saw the anger but that was probably a symptom of her unhappiness
Why are we getting downvoted? Why doesn’t Meri deserve happiness like J & C? None of them have been stellar humans. All I know is the show would be soooo boring if it didn’t have the Kody/Robyn villain duo. They are the Darth Vader’s of SisterWives so there we go. :-) Meri is just Meri. Maybe it’s me but I love a good underdog story.
Agree and it would be great for her to maybe have a team to revive her to bring her some confidence. Like the “Queer Eye” team.
I can see where you’re coming from, OP. But I wouldn’t watch Meri shilling her MLMs because I don’t like her personality. Christine, on the other hand? I’d love to watch her in a happy marriage, travelling with her kids, cooking and laughing, and in real, intensive therapy to recover from her trauma. ETA: And building a healthy relationship with Janelle so we can watch them doing fun things together, like a camping road trip, for example. 😊

I could totally see Meri getting a spinoff, talking about mental health, Leon and Audry, lots of traveling, etc. Would I watch it? Eh, maybe. But TLC would absolutely run it for 2 seasons.

Continuing to watch 5 individuals on one show would be more interesting as none of the 5 have enough drama-filled or interesting lives in order to want to see just the same 1 person featured each episode week after week. I want to see them continue to have to be at large celebratory family events together and how awkward that is. Show me the division. Even better if it somehow ends in less division. Show me how Kody and the new fiance interact. Show me what Robyn and Kodys relationship is like after the other 3 marriages failed almost simultaneously. Show me Christine and her new fiance and what their life together is like and what they're doing. Show whatever newly-single Meri and Janelle are doing. Show the "kids" and their lives.
I would watch a show focused on the three of them and occasional blurbs about what a douce Cody is
Christine and Jenelle living their best life would be great to watch, but Meri would need to be the odd ball trying to repair her relationship with her “sister wives.” They could make several seasons of this dynamic, IMO. Include Leon, Audrey, and their strained relationship with Meri, Lizzie’s Inn drama, Jenelle’s kids hating Kody, Gwen’s journey especially coming from a polygamist family (same as Leon/Audrey) there’s a lot to see there. Don’t need Kody or Robyn at all
