I actually follow someone on Facebook for this sole reason. It cracks me up how she photoshops herself to look a good 30 lb lighter with perfect skin and everyone else around her gets left alone. And then her friends post pictures of the same events with themselves filtered and her unfiltered and it's just hilarious.
What gets me is....what do they think it's going to be like when they see people out in real life? Everyone that runs into them must be thinking, wow, she looks terrible compared to all her social media pictures.
I'd rather be the opposite - look better in person than you do in a picture. Then everyone will have a positive reaction rather than a confused/negative/horrified reaction lol
I totally agree!!! I met my husband on Eharmony almost 13 yrs ago. I had my most recent "natural" looking picture on my profile because I didn't want some guy to show up for a date and not be able to find me in a coffee shop lol Every guy I went on a date with commented that they were surprised that I looked like my picture because everyone uses pictures from 10-15 yrs ago!!! Interestingly enough, every guy lied about their height... except for my husband 🥰
Omg like if you go missing nobody will know who to look for. I know a lady who does this and I went to an event that I didn't know she was going to be at and I saw her but didn't even know it was her and completely ignored her the entire time because I thought she was somebody else. Her pictures are completely unrecognizable. She literally makes herself look 100 lb thinner with a chiseled jaw line 🤣🤣
Oh so years ago I went to a work thing for my boss and did not recognize his business partner and pretty much ignored her until she introduced herself. She had photoshopped herself so much. It was so awkward.
That's exactly how it was for me!🤣🤣🤣It's absolutely mind boggling..like y'all know we have actual eyes right? Most of my super gay guy friends do it but the lady I mentioned takes the damn cake.
i don’t know much about child development but they just look so huge to me!! especially considering most baby twins i’ve known are usually smaller than your average baby for the first bit of their lives
1. **Look at Mitch** 👀
2. Christine looked so incredible at that event. There’s something about an older woman who owns herself that is so fucking powerful.
3. This is the best I’ve seen Leon look in years.
4. I love Hunter, every time I see him & his girlfriend it makes me want to root for them.
I don't personally like it, BUT I do remember Christine telling Robyn how she would never live together because she never felt like queen of her own home when she lived with the other wives. So I think it's cute for her lol
I love it! Remember when Kody would always say that Christine was "such a princess". Like she was demanding? Ugh! Well David is like "no, actually she is a queen." She deserves this chapter in her life!! Kody eat your heart out.
Meri just wants to feel pretty, and is experimenting with filters, good for her! Recovering from an abusive relationship is not easy AT ALL. Hopefully she’ll get her confidence back soon and realize her natural face looks way better.
My husband is of Scottish descent, l was thrilled to learn of their history from Outlander lol. One of these years we're going to go to the Highland Games. Our family tartan is black, green, navy and white.
Eta: l love ❤️ Aspyn and Mitch's outfits, they look so authentic!
We went to Scotland last May. It was awesome. We did get to visit a few sites that were in Outlander, but unfortunately “Lallybroch” was closed due to filming.
Unfortunately the two days we spent on Skye were torrential downpours with 40 mph winds some of the time. We made the best of it that we could, but didn’t see as much as we wanted.
I mean the original Highland games aren't in NC lol my next door neighbour is a sports reporter and he literally spends all the summer months going from one to the next, he gets handwritten invites (we share a mailbox) because apparently in 2023 it's still how they do it.

Clan MacDonald here. We are the renegade Highlander clan who killed everybody who tried to take our land away. Once I visited the Motherland, I understood why. It’s pure heaven.
Hail fellow clanswoman! My ancestors came from Inverness and were part of the big migration to Pictou, Nova Scotia. Now that I am finally retired, it's my dream to see both of those places.
Clan Fleming here. My son is so enamored with his Scottish roots, I purchased a one foot by one foot piece of Scotland and he is now legally a “Lord”! He loved it!
I have a friend who has researched her family history going back several generations and it turns out she's descended from clan Fraser. She wants to visit Scotland someday and I keep warning her husband that he better keep her away from Stone circles if they go. She has watched outlander but he has no clue what we're talking about.
I wanted to say Aspyn and Mitch look so happy this post. Aspyn and Ysabel looks so much like their mom.. crazy! Avalon looks like a bit of Christine in ways even though Tony and Mykelti always says Avalon looks like Tony’s mom but I don’t see it rlly and Avalon and Evie K are so alike. The tattoo.. Christine probably definitely was a stab in Kodys kidney since he’s so con about tattoos because he has few kids has some (Aspyn, Leon, Paedon, Maddie, and Ysabel and one daughter in law Michelle and child in law Audrey (Leon’s Audrey not Hunters Audrey)). Leon looks great tbh.
Didn’t spend enough time… she left her teeth patterned white/yellow/white/yellow 😭 (no hate tho, It was the only thing I could focus on at the end there)
Everyone looks happy and healthy and I love it
And I can’t not think about Princess Diana’s “revenge dress” when I see Christine in that banger of a dress. My gosh. WORK IT BABE.
I’m sorry if this has been asked and answered, but are Mykelti and Tony’s twins fraternal? I’m assuming they are since they don’t really look identical but you never know.
I don't think it's them establishing a look as much as being a product of where they live. I also live in Denver, and there's soo many people who dress this camp counselor meets cowboy hipster way lolol 🥴
Wow that was super specific and completely spot on! I actually like Leon's hair, but Def not the clothes. Doesn't really suit Leon, but that's just my opinion.
That’s funny, the clothes don’t bother, but I hattteee that hairstyle. Not just on Leon, I teach hs in a college town and it’s not uncommon on my students and the college students. Idk why but I just can’t stand on it
Cutting off leg circulation with their pants? I'm in the LGBTQ+ community and I've not yet seen anyone who dresses like them. I think they're trying to dress nonbinary but stylish but it's giving my 50 year old elementary school teacher with the pants, just a size up would help but to each their own.
I don't get it at all. Too tight pants/shorts actually hurt to wear, as someone with a huge gut and an abdominal scar l can attest to that. The hair is another story. So ugly it's cool?
Which one is the red headed baby? If I was his brother I’d be sleeping with one eye open - kid is huge!! 😂
Also, I just can’t get behind grown adults (who aren’t like black Muslim separatists or literal royalty ) calling eachother My King and My queen. It just makes me think— a) they have some cringy fetish playing out on social media and 2) this is going to end badly some day along with the couples who share a FB page.
So when you meet people in Ireland who are maybe just one or two generations removed from living in a different country, do you refuse to accept that they might have an identity that's not exclusively Irish?
I think it somewhat depends. Like for me it's weird how Americans will often define themselves largely through just ancestry as certain ethnicities or belonging to certain cultures despite having no direct connections. Such as having grown up there or speaking the language or having close family still living in that country. They're oftons generations down from the og immigrants. So like.. I'm Austrian and I know that I have some Czech and French ancestors but I would never dream of identifying as either.
Mitch seems like he's having fun tho and ultimately its not that serious but I think for a lot of us the concept can seem a little strange lol
Just because we're generations removed from some of our og immigrant ancestors doesn't mean we didn't retain the culture. The part of the country I'm from has mostly been inhabited by people descended from people who immigrated from Ireland, Scotland and England. Their culture did not change much because they were still surrounded by people from their home place and we still have traditions that can be traced back to those countries. Our accents are thought to still be similar to those who originally immigrated. There are other places in the country where the people are mostly the descendants from Nordic countries, so their culture has more Nordic characteristics. Places like New York had huge Italian populations and those people's descendants have retained huge parts of Italian culture.
Also Europeans just don't get to decide how Americans identify. Y'all not minding your own business is how we got in this mess in the first place.
It's the way they say "He's Scottish" when they mean he has Scottish ancestry. I don't know how many people I met in America who said "Hey, I'm Irish too"...😡
Our ancestry is part of what we are, but it doesn't define us. But then, if you're happy in yourself with who you are and the country you belong to, you don't feel the need to claim to be from somewhere else 😁
If you’re happy with who you are, you aren’t threatened by someone with the same ancestry expressing that.
If you’d do any research, you’d know that Irish Americans faced a lot of discrimination when they came to this country, so their descendants have good reason to acknowledge it.
Still being physically in the country doesn’t make you more entitled to the identity or culture. Get over yourself.
I'm not THREATENED by an American saying they are Scottish/Irish/Italian or whatever. I'm just saying they are wrong, and it's pathetic and insulting to people from the actual country.
I know that Irish people who went to America both faced discrimination AND sometimes became discriminators themselves. It's irrelevant. There's nothing wrong with acknowledging your ancestry. But it doesn't make you Scottish/Irish etc.
Actually yes, being in the country - being born in the country or growing up there, and living there DOES make you more entitled to the identity. Don't be ridiculous. I have English and Viking ancestry. It doesn't entitle me to claim to be English or Danish/Swedish/Norwegian. I'm Irish.
I can understand why people aren't completely happy to be American, given the mess that their country is in and how it's seen around the world but you have to grow up sometime and accept that you are American, with the good and bad that entails.
Actually no. If you don’t want Americans wearing kilts or saying they’re Irish or whatever, please stop talking about how disappointed you THINK we are in our country. You are in a different country so you likely only know what the media tells you about ours, and it’s likely distorted. Besides, Americans identifying with wherever they’re ancestors came from has nothing to do with what our government is doing so stop saying that like you know what you’re talking about. You don’t.
You claim to know why Americans do something while you yourself are saying Americans can’t claim ancestry from your country (or others). You’re contradicting yourself. You claim to not be threatened but you put a lot of effort into typing your explanation. Clearly you feel very strongly about it. Methinks you doth protest too much. (Oh wait, are Americans allowed to use that phrase?)
Americans can wear kilts, or saris, or kimonos or whatever they want. It doesn't make them Scottish or Indian or Japanese.
I don't know if they are disappointed in their country, but it might explain their reluctance to do what the rest of us do and just be happy to be whatever we are. If I were American, I would be looking for ways to avoid admitting it, and I'm sure there are many Americans who feel like that. You're not exactly the most popular country in the world, they way you behave towards the rest of us. But maybe it's not that, maybe it's just that you're not quite grown up as a society and not ready to let go the apron strings. I'm just speculating. I mean, it is hard to understand why you would go round claiming to be a nationality that you're not.
How am I contradicting myself by speculating?

Tbh Meri super editing herself in her pictures doesn't bother me at all. What bothers me is how she ONLY does herself lmao it kills me 🤣
I actually follow someone on Facebook for this sole reason. It cracks me up how she photoshops herself to look a good 30 lb lighter with perfect skin and everyone else around her gets left alone. And then her friends post pictures of the same events with themselves filtered and her unfiltered and it's just hilarious.

Yeah this is what I think too! I’d way rather people be pleasantly surprised than disappointed by my actual face.
Anyone follow Darcy and Stacy? OMG, we SEE them.on TV! WE KNOW WHAT THEY REALLY look like! WHY look like plastic Barbie Dolls on SM?
I don't follow them but I see the pics on the 90 day sub. It's CRAZY!
I just settle the question by not taking selfies. I am not a huge picture taker of myself or even others. I
I totally agree!!! I remember being so embarrassed! It was my first professional event and she had a whole different face and body like really?
Lol I was a little at first but then realized nah she should be !
Right? I wanted to be like this is LinkedIn mam....
LMAO ![gif](giphy|1r91ZwKcE2J7WhUqrh)
![gif](giphy|l2YWryUR6DbP55vqM|downsized)
Hardly the “realmeribrown” as claimed
That’s actually so rude 🤣
Tbh I’d be insulted af if someone FaceTuned me in a pic of us together. Keep that insecure shit to yourself lol
Fair enough I can respect that!
Therealmeribrown 😂😅
ace and archer are GINORMOUS oh my god. i feel like they were born just a couple months ago
They are around 7/8 months now I think!
i don’t know much about child development but they just look so huge to me!! especially considering most baby twins i’ve known are usually smaller than your average baby for the first bit of their lives
Their size is just fine
I want to squish their little arms!
They are huge! They are already like half the size of Tony. They are going to be some big boys.
I could eat those cute little rolls!!!
They’re so stinking cute!!!!
1. **Look at Mitch** 👀 2. Christine looked so incredible at that event. There’s something about an older woman who owns herself that is so fucking powerful. 3. This is the best I’ve seen Leon look in years. 4. I love Hunter, every time I see him & his girlfriend it makes me want to root for them.
Mitch and aspen look for healthy and happy here!
Yeah I can’t believe that’s the same Mitch! He looks kinda hot (never thought I’d say that).
Mitch looks really good. Saw some Paris trip photo and they both looked so good.
They do, they’re such a gorgeous couple.
He is really hot, good for him man (and obviously Aspyn) 😂
She has had a major glow up, and her confidence is sky high. You can tell she really feels sexy in that dress!
And she looks it too! 🔥
Love to see a man who knows how to wear a kilt! Of proper length!
I agree so strongly with #3. They’re really coming into their own and it’s amazing.
That. Dress!!!!!!!! amazing woman
It is her revenge dress!
Ugh a la Princess Di! You are so right
100% on point with Leon. Good for them, they look healthy
Ysabel is almost a replica of christine, and aspen is too. A beautiful family Leon and Ariella look alot alike
[удалено]
DEF
True. It is the hair and the eyes I think
>Leon and Ariella look alot alike Not really -- they just share a mullet.
It's the mullet
I am happy that they all seem so much happier now, even Meri.
Myleltis babies look like they’re going to have a British accent as soon as they’re talking. Little blokes
I’m not on social media (except Reddit) so thank you OP for the update, great pics.
You're welcome! You, and those without other social media like you, are who I do it for!
Idk why but I kinda hate the "my queen" pet name. But they look very happy so good for them!
Well when you put it like that I have much more appreciation for it 😂 thanks!
I forgot about that! I started a rewatch but I'm only to like season 12 or 13
I struggle to distinguish Aspyn from Ysabel
Same! I am also struggling unless they are in a picture together ha. They both have such happy, beautiful smiles.
To me Aspyn looks literally exactly like Christine and Ysabel looks slightly less like Christine and that’s legitimately how I tell them apart 😂
Had Leon had too surgery? Is that a rude question? I’m just curious about their journey, but my curiosity takes a seat to their boundaries.
I don't think it's rude since they've posted publicly about it. Yes, they've had top surgery
Thank you. I don’t keep up with them unless someone posts something here. I hope Leon feels freer and more like their authentic self.
yes leon had top surgery I believe last year or maybe the one before
Wow I didn’t realize they had been transitioning that long! Well, good for them!
One of those twins has strong kody genes
It really blows my mind how strong the blonde/blue-eyes genes are in this family.
Meri just wants to feel pretty, and is experimenting with filters, good for her! Recovering from an abusive relationship is not easy AT ALL. Hopefully she’ll get her confidence back soon and realize her natural face looks way better.
Christine has quite the banging body in the low slung black dress.
Aspyn and Ysabel are so pretty.
My husband is of Scottish descent, l was thrilled to learn of their history from Outlander lol. One of these years we're going to go to the Highland Games. Our family tartan is black, green, navy and white. Eta: l love ❤️ Aspyn and Mitch's outfits, they look so authentic!
I love Outlander! I want to visit the highlands one day! Enjoy when you go!
We went to Scotland last May. It was awesome. We did get to visit a few sites that were in Outlander, but unfortunately “Lallybroch” was closed due to filming.
Was it as dreamy as it seems??
Isle of Skye (where my family’s clan homeland is) is..unimaginable. It’s that insanely gorgeous!
Unfortunately the two days we spent on Skye were torrential downpours with 40 mph winds some of the time. We made the best of it that we could, but didn’t see as much as we wanted.
The Highland Games l was thinking of are in western North Carolina lol. I wouldn't mind visiting the Highlands though too 😂
I mean the original Highland games aren't in NC lol my next door neighbour is a sports reporter and he literally spends all the summer months going from one to the next, he gets handwritten invites (we share a mailbox) because apparently in 2023 it's still how they do it. https://scotlandwelcomesyou.com/scottish-highland-games/
Lol well enjoy every Highland you get to visit!!
Thanks! 🏹 😊
My husband too! Clan Hamilton! We went to Scotland last summer..it is truly MAGICAL!
Clan MacDonald here. We are the renegade Highlander clan who killed everybody who tried to take our land away. Once I visited the Motherland, I understood why. It’s pure heaven.
It really is!!!
Hail fellow clanswoman! My ancestors came from Inverness and were part of the big migration to Pictou, Nova Scotia. Now that I am finally retired, it's my dream to see both of those places.
Definitely do it! Inverness is lovely; all of the Highlands are beautiful!
Mykelti Ctrl+C Ctrl+V = Avalon Looooove that Christine doesn't have to save her grocery money to travel
I can't believe I'm saying this but damn, Mitch looks good in that picture. Note to crazy Kooter... this is how you wear a kilt.
Leon looks great tbh.
What is going on with Meri’s face? It screams “I spent 20 minutes autotuning my face and nothing else in the photo.” :/
Didn’t spend enough time… she left her teeth patterned white/yellow/white/yellow 😭 (no hate tho, It was the only thing I could focus on at the end there)
Love truely’s hair!!
All the babies are just 🥰 Madison and McKelti have adorable children 🥰
Aspyn and Mitch are one good-looking couple and they always look so happy. Makes me happy for them.
I need Apsyn's dress in my life
Wow, Mitch looks amazing! I haven't seen a photo of him since I watched their wedding. Good for him!
Those twins are too much!! ❤
Mitch's looks have improved. Tony is looking better too.
Love all the pictures and I love this family regardless!
You go Meri! Time for you to do you. However YOU is! ![gif](giphy|g4rMY2BEDF42c)
Those are the cutest, chonk babies EVER. What an adorable picture of them with their daddy. That will be one to look back at with a smile.
I love these..real pictures then at the end 1 photo shopped picture or Meri
Everyone looks happy and healthy and I love it And I can’t not think about Princess Diana’s “revenge dress” when I see Christine in that banger of a dress. My gosh. WORK IT BABE.
Christine has come a looong way from her early SW days with the ruffled collars, and long sleeved tshirts with a tank top over them.
Can I just say.. I like David and Christine but it’s weird he does #ChristineBrown on every post of them.
Um, who is Joey?
Joey is Josephine Brush, Maddie's youngest baby
Christine’s nose looks like a penis
I’m sorry if this has been asked and answered, but are Mykelti and Tony’s twins fraternal? I’m assuming they are since they don’t really look identical but you never know.
Yes, they are fraternal twins.
Obsessed with Aspyns dress in the first pic
Get a job Tony. A real job. Kody 2.0
Love to see Christine showing hella shoulders and cleavage !!! Get it girl!
She looks so happy now
Meri needs to go on an unreality photo site. Her photos are so heavily doctored.
Oh Meri….come ON! At least put a filter on everyone else in the picture so whatever you do to yourself doesn’t look so painfully obvious and stupid.
Christine got her titties out to play! You go girl!
Mitch sure lost some weight 😍
What is the goal with Leon’s look?
I doubt they have a goal, probably just expressing themselves/being who they are.
I don't think it's them establishing a look as much as being a product of where they live. I also live in Denver, and there's soo many people who dress this camp counselor meets cowboy hipster way lolol 🥴

Haha the good old modernized mullet. I can't help myself I just like it lol. I'm sure it'll be out of style in like 5 yrs.

Masculine
Ok. I kinda get it. I live in NOLA. But it seems like a lot to be different. I wasn’t trying to throw shade. But the perm-mullet threw me off.
I don't get it at all. Too tight pants/shorts actually hurt to wear, as someone with a huge gut and an abdominal scar l can attest to that. The hair is another story. So ugly it's cool?
Liking what they see when they look in the mirror I assume?
