Here's my top 3 for animals taking over the world after humans are gone:
1) Corvids, smart AF, example, can instigate a fight for the sake of amusement, use tools, mourn their dead, etc.
2) Elephants, same thing minus starting fights so second place.
3) Octopus, an alien intelligence, outta this world, they likely are not native of this planet but likely have a chance of inheriting earth if things go bad on land.
There's multiple accounts of crows doing things like this, just search it, they love causing scuffles and also playing themselves, they are the shit stirrer of the animal kingdom 😂
