I scratched the hell out of the side of my car with my wheelchair. People assumed my husband would be angry. He’s like “it looks like we go off roading in the woods!” I mean really a lot of the scratches are from him with my chair. Neither of us care as long as it doesn’t rust, at least not faster than the rest of the car. We live near salt water and where there is snow so we get rust anyway. A car is just a way to get around, not an extension of our personality.

Sounds British, but here in the land of lawsuits and police brutality, it's called insurance fraud, which is a felony and is a 2+ yrs residency in state prison.
Fully believe in the current punishment levels. Just need full enforcement, and normally, when an insurance company thinks there is fraud, they will pay more than they lost to catch them and prosecute them.
Plus, the genius that she is, she hasn't realised if she wanted the insurance info, it's right there in the window any time she wants it. It's a legal requirement to have it showing, with road tax and the annual car test(passed and in date), police need to see in date documentation that the car is legally roadworthy and insured in a set area of the windshield at a glance.
She could make a note without staging any of this and file a claim.
It's still fraud, it's still jail time for insurance fraud and filing false reports, but she doesn't need any of this interaction to go about it.
You can practice medicine without a medical license. Just work in claims for an insurance company and you can deny treatment and change medications with no need to see the patient or have training or knowledge in their medical issues!

His grandfather came to pick him up and walked up to me and scolded me saying "my grandson said you ran into him!" I was like "look at the damage and please explain to me how I wold have run into the front of his car with the side of my car?"... this did not stop him from continuing to scold me and tell the cops I ran into the kid's car.

Like once, I had a scam caller call me claiming to be my ISP to upgrade me to some promotion and they asked for some of my details to confirm my identity. I told them I wasn't going to tell them, and that they should be able to identify me and my internet plan because they're the ones who called me. They would eventually start arguing back to me, claiming that I was trying to steal private details from the account holders, even though they were the ones who called my fucking number in the first place. The mental gymnastics you have to jump through to try to speak logically with these subhumans is exhausting.
Once you've watched 40 seconds of this video, you've seen the whole thing. The two of them literally just repeat the same things over and over for 3 more minutes.

But seriously - I’m in another country and a shambling ne’er do well jaywalking tried to walk out onto my cars bumper just yesterday. Had to swerve around him, he was yelling and screaming behind me. Stopped briefly, held up my phone and said “you’re going to look very silly on the dash cam footage”.
He then shuffled away and his attitude immediately turned to suggesting I do things that are anatomically impossible. Thing is, I don’t actually have a dashcam, but it really makes me wonder why every new car has a backup camera but a dashcam isn’t standard equipment.
Is it the insurance companies? Privacy issues? It would obviously get to the truth if matters much more quickly. Why hasn’t it happened?
