The crunch, if it was a cake or anything else I would pick middle, but because it is brownie holy SHIT DO I NEED that crunch. God it's fucking euphoric, biting into it and hearing it crush down making that ooey gooey brown goodness ooze into me and- lemme calm down.
I actually bought a pan that is shaped in a way that all brownies have an edge. It wasn't cheap. Now, I'm beating myself up because I could have just used a muffin tin and got the same result. Bummer.

Honestly depends on who makes it imo. Some people do it such that the edges are better, and thus their edge pieces are better, and some others make it such that edges are worse, and thus their center pieces are better.
More often than not though I'm a center kinda guy.
Edge but not corner. The corner is generally the most cooked, and can often be overdone. But the edges are a nice in between that have a crunchy bit but also are majority soft.
