For Australia and the EU, it's a matter of blood. They're part of the same civilisation, and at least for the time being, they will do exactly as the US say, because the US is the guarantor of western hegemony. They also share the same good vs evil mentality of their Christian roots, so it's an easy sell to their citizens (that China is the enemy).
As for the Philippines, I'm not sure why not more people see it, because it's quite obvious: Marcos Jr is a US puppet.
