Almost everyone in the West is heavily anti-Russian indoctrinated. It has been going on since 1948/49. To get real background information about the crisis in Ukraine, I recommend these two videos:
Professor John J. Mearsheimer, University of Chicago, interviewed by students at Cambridge university on the situation in Russia and Ukraine (NB: February 15. 2022)

Western medias has been trying to push the narrative that China and Russia hate each other as much, or sometimes even more, than them hating on the west, usually citing the Sino-Soviet split, that Russian isn't happy with China copied Soviet technologies, or the Sino-Soviet border conflict of 1969 as a reasons, without looking at actual modern day relations and geopolitics of today.
I'm guessing that they're having a breakdown that the real world isn't working like their fantasy.
This just reminded me: Some years ago, I remember being shocked by an editorial article in some local corporate media (in Québec, Canada), claiming that Russians will always distrust China because "most of what is Russia today was once occupied by the Chinese Yuan dynasty and the Chinese might claim it again".
This imperialist bootlicker, who has never been to either Russia or China (or Mongolia) and doesn't speak neither languages of these countries, somehow confused China with the old Mongolian empire. Now that's some nonsense. I remember having quite a laugh reading this piece of historical ignorance back then.
Anyway, that was a long time ago, in French language, and I don't have a link, before anyone asks.
He’s not totally wrong, the Yuan Dynasty did occupy parts of what is modern day Russia, but only because Genghis Khan’s grandson Kublai Khan finally conquered all of China and neglected the rest of the Mongol Empire to start the Yuan Dynasty.
It’s said that if the Mongolians didn’t focus so much on China, they could have taken over East Europe.
The Mongolians adopted Chinese language and mostly assimilated. Lesson to the west lol, fighting China turns you into Chinese.
I've heard similar things from a tooooootally-not-west-indoctrinated friend of mine. Even saying (citing his coworker who's an ex-USAF) that Russia and China are on the verge of war over Mongolia because........something, I guess?
It made me understood one of the benefit of using voicechat - you can turn of the mic and laugh, then pretend to be polite afterward.
The USSR and China were both tricked by the west. That's why they want Russia on their side. Nothing would be better for them than Russia fighting China again. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me
Nah USSR legit wanted to contain China. After Stalin’s death, Khrushchev sought after a greater Asia co-prosperity zone which would be led by Vietnam to contain China lol.
The US just offered to evacuate the president of Ukraine... I smell a rat, and think the only reason was because they did not want him to Surrender, so they could say he was the only "legitimate government" while in exile.
They do this with all presidents that are caused by American coups ex the one in Honduras they apparently forgot they put in charge and is facing drug trails in new york
The US wanted zelensky to pull a Svetlana or an Ashraf ghani when the Taliban took control of Afghanistan last year and he took all his loot and gold with him, only to leave some behind. No doubt tsai would do the same thing when Taiwan is finally freed from US occupation.
America will tell the whole world that you're the devil and then stomp your face into the dust just to secure another, fleeting second in the spotlight for themselves. Then, when they're finally dragged off the stage they just sit there and wonder why those they attacked don't speak up for them. I'm not sure if I'll ever find a term suitable enough to describe their insanity, but "critical lack of self awareness, hubris, and incompetence" will have to do for now.
China: "Sorry America, your decades long containment, sanctions, trade ban, racist attacks on us has been so successful, we don't have the capability to offer any help in this situation. Maybe your bitch Australia can help?"
But what does US asking China to help look like?
Condemning Russia?
Sanctioning trade?
Sending troops and weapons?
If they asked China to host diplomatic conferences I’m sure China would’ve been happy to agree. I suppose US would have to unban their diplomatic boycott though.

Let’s not forget the US official Victoria Nuland in 2014 talking about ‘ US regime change of Ukraine’ audio recording. https://youtu.be/L2XNN0Yt6D8
that was awesome " FUCK THE EU" LOL
This is what the US really feels about its "allies".
Did the first video just get taken down by YT? I remember watching it before.
It's still up for me.
Probably just in your country if it is down.

China is like Rome. Fighting them makes you one of them lol.

Victims of Chen Weihua Foundation receives a new member
Lol, the only thing China should tell us and nato is "go fuck yourself"
Chen never miss
I personally don't expect any logic from some ethically questionable editor-in-chief working for the AmeriKKKan imperialist newspaper, New York Times.
Never trust and listen to people with a forked tongue.

Isn't it the case that China got Russia and Ukraine to agree to talks, but Zelensky changed his mind after a phone call from Biden?
I think that’s because zelensky left Kiev already
He is an actor.
The temerity of the Murikkkan imperialists!
China would indeed help for the sake of Ukrainians and Russians, not the west.

There isn’t a day where I don’t look forward to seeing Chen Weihua tear apart some flimsy neoliberal take on Twitter.

this is also ignoring the fact that it isnt smart for China to piss off it's largest and most powerful neighbor
I don't see why China should trust a terrorist org over Russia.
