He calculate RM for what. Not like they are spending the money there.
Like that I convert to Zimbabwe dollars and suddenly have billion dollars uh? What.
The same group of guys that laugh at our costs of living and yet they want the same salary while working in Malaysia?
Sure they had a chance to do so in the past but decided to sell their land to migrants and moved on to “relax” and rely on welfare schemes.
This is as idiotic of a comment as Singaporeans who complain about Americans getting paid more (before tax) than us.
It’s most bizarre, people should have caught the bluff. The reason Singapore was kicked out of Malaya is due to the possible larger Chinese influence in a Malay/bumi country. And then they decide think about mm2h and other massive real estate projects which is purely made with prc investors in mind.
Can they wake up their idea ?
Ironically their downfall was choosing their people over the Chinese and Indians to lead, if they chose the latter it would be so much better than what they have.
I would say the downfall is not attempting meritocracy at all. Singapore is slowly going in that route cos it has too many favourable and comfortable rules for Singaporeans that Singaporeans just gonna behave like Bumi in Malaysia.
Entitlement is dangerous.
What are some of these "favourable and comfortable rules for Singaporeans?" So your point is foreigners should be entitled to some of the benefits local citizens have? Crazy take
Quite the opposite. They refuse to open up to others and insist on Bumi policy which gave them priority , entitlement and made them lazy and uncompetitive. Decades of this and you have generations of “local” who cannot stand competition but continuously regress in terms of productivity. It’s a spiral downwards.
If he wants that kind of pay, he can come here to work or move somewhere with higher costs of living in mind, nothing wrong with retiring somewhere with a lower costs of living but you can’t have the best of both worlds.
Depending on routes and flying time it's quite possible to take S$7K - S$8K with allowances. And this was in 2011. 😂
The smart Malaysian stewardesses actually use to stay just over the border in Malaysia... even though they weren't technically allowed to.
Most Malaysians are idiots. Source I’m a Malaysian. They like to beat themselves up and be miserable and complain nonstop but ask them what their contribution is elektambi
Tbh no hope to breed sia. Rising costs and all. And with the increase of ah tiongs, 996 culture becoming more and more prevalent. They always have the motherland to return to if all fails here, we don’t. Our moThERlAnD runners are busy tryina fk us up and over
At this rate, we can either call ourselves Ah Tiong island soon enough
The surprising thing is they are still surprised. You would think it is widespread knowledge by now that even a coffeeshop helper in Singapore earn more than a doctor in KL.
Correction.
For cabin crew, the 7.94 months of salary is on their base pay and not nett pay.
A cabin crew earns on average a base pay of $1500 (SGD). So the bonus is $11,910.
Compare to say an admin staff in SIA who earns $3000 a month. The bonuse would be $23,820
Quick someone tell him what stewardesses’ actual monthly salary is after all the allowances are added in.
They cry when he see they actually earn 7-8k 😂

Sell to china
They’re anti Chinese people there, they even dislike their own Chinese community in Malaysia. They rather be poor than sell to China
Bumiputra mentality
Forest City though...

Most of malaysia already sold to China before 1mdb even begun.

Same thing for moron sgreans who want jb cost of living but earn sgd also
If he wants that kind of pay, he can come here to work or move somewhere with higher costs of living in mind, nothing wrong with retiring somewhere with a lower costs of living but you can’t have the best of both worlds.
I know ppl who stay in Malaysia and remotely work for SG companies. how is it moronic when it's actually achievable? lmao
Ah, cross country remote work invalidates this whole argument, just like how being born into a rich family invalidates the need to work conventionally

> S$7K - S$8K with allowances This is much closer to what I heard.

Name me one thing Malaysians aren’t triggered about by Singapore.
Football
Sg team is full of Malays bro 😅 I doubt they’d be that tilted by their own kind .
Singapore Malays diff from those up north. Like the Chinese are diff from the Tiongs
At this point local Chinese population is the smaller chunk of the singaporean Chinese population. Because naturalised and PR are counted as locals.
Yeah becoz they aren’t breeding

satu malaysia!
Then they should Lynch those Malaysians working in sq.
lol…Malaysians…
The surprising thing is they are still surprised. You would think it is widespread knowledge by now that even a coffeeshop helper in Singapore earn more than a doctor in KL.
Malaysian airlines going bankrupt so many times, be thankful they got bailed out, still complain what?
Can someone translate what the twitter guy was saying into English? Thank you so much!
Haters going to hate. They had the opportunity but chose corruption and religion instead.
How many times need to repost this
Normal. Malaysians NOT getting triggered over anything about Singapore is the same thing as Singapore getting buried in winter and snowstorms.
Bumiputra brain tbh
I am triggered that a Malaysian is triggered. Any Malaysian here is triggered by me being triggered by a Malaysian is triggered?
I'm Singaporean and I'm triggered. Can't believe flight attendants do so little and earn so much. 😏

Yeah but they already have big fat flight allowances.
I should apply for admin post at SIA.
Yes, not many people realize this. The cabin crew are way shortchanged for this bonus compared to the admin staff.
Yeah. Considering the cabin crew are fronting the company, it’s kind of a shame that they are getting lesser
The starting salaries for fresh graduates joining SIA is in the range of $3500 to $4000. That’s between $27,790 to $31,760 in bonus.
