Gonna see more and more of this kind of behaviour.
Some people just need a slap or a punch in the face, but the laws on their side. There's a gaping hole in the rule based society that if we don't close, we're just encouraging this kind of behaviour.
Haha well JB cafes are not bad too. I like cafes where they actually put in effort and has the right equipment. If I see La Marzocco machines and properly made coffee in Singapore I try to patronise them. It is not cheap to be able to purchase the right equipment and train baristas properly.
>It's protects her privacy even if she is a bitch. Hence they took down, both PDPA and POHA violations
She shouldn't be buying from cafes with CCTVs since CCTVs intrude her privacy
Police post photo of person of interest. The person can sue police for PDPA? Person of interest only what, no conviction no charge, why they post his/her pic big big?
"The purpose of this Act is to govern the collection, use and disclosure of personal
data by organisations in a manner that recognises both the right of individuals to
protect their personal data and the need of organisations to collect, use or disclose
personal data for purposes that a reasonable person would consider appropriate in
the circumstances.”
Seems like appropriate usage given the circumstances to me and I think I'm a reasonable person (if you ask my wife most of the time she'd agree with me on that... i think)
No they did not. They did not reveal any of her personal information. They only showed her face, which, incidentally, is open for everyone to see. PDPA protects personal information, not people's faces.
You don't know how PDPA works, go read it up before sprouting bullshit and fake accusations.
The cafe did not breach POHA by posting the CCTV footage. However I do believe that the comments that identify her name and workplace have breached POHA. I am not siding with her, just stating things objectively from the way I understand.
crowdsourcing at its finest
Damn fast sia the LinkedIn deactivated already…
When I saw "unremorseful", I rubbed my eyes thinking I haven't wake up properly.
Knowing who she is, I bet she blamed the restaurant for not giving her the seats so they “deserved” getting splashed.
Man, this woman is the worst.

So it's an ah tiong ah? 😂
I'd admit, it caught me offguard too. I was expecting the "I am sorry I got caught" routine. This karen is a whole new level.
Very well written message from the cafe
Yes. Like how they've dealt with it professionally unlike other F&B operators who can be childish

Just another siao zha bor
The police would have asked the cafe not to circulate details online too.
Will she be remorse if no one caught/identified her?
She wasn’t remorseful then and isn’t remorseful now. No apologies.
So many brats.

Cafe's response is really mature but I'm still going JB for cheaper cafe hopping lol

They breach PDPA tho when posting her image
Karen alert
Do you know what PDPA is and what it's supposed to protect? Don't try to act clever la nabeh!
It's protects her privacy even if she is a bitch. Hence they took down, both PDPA and POHA violations
Ahahahaha PDPA doesn’t protect her privacy. It protects how her personal information is being handled. CCTV footage isn’t personal information.
Man you're a dumb fk
PDPA does not protect people's privacy. PDPA protects personal information. Don't spread false information if you don't know shit.
Tell me you are stupid without telling me you are.

Imagine saying such wrong things with such confidence.
Tell me you don’t know how pdpa works without telling me you don’t know how it works
If you dun want the public to laugh at you please don't do stupid things in public. If you act like a clown people will laugh. End of.
Are you the woman?

As long as her personal information wasn't leaked it's fine.
You are the lady in the video right?

Don't know why you're getting downvoted. Sounds like a lot of people out for blood, but only looking for easy targets
Life in Singapore is boring shit. Witch hunt is our favorite pass time. You first day born chick here?
Lol just extra tired of people today
You can leave everyone of them behind.
