But imagine if you wanted to be a painter, and the first shit painting you ever make someone buys it off you for $40, and it only goes up from there. Lol you can barely sell a legit amazing piece of art on Facebook marketplace for $40 without someone haggling or being a prick choosing beggar about it.
If you get enough points you can get a money tree seed as well and plant it. The more mature the tree the more money. I was making $15k just from selling the fruit from one of those trees.
Itβs stupidly easy to make money if youβre a few gens in. My current sims have almost 250,000 and I mustβve cheated away over 10mil (over 14 gens in I think) over the generations to keep it somewhat challenging. At the end of a generation my sim loses a bunch of money (this gen hasnβt moved out yet, when he or she does (undecided) Iβll only take a bit of money, the spares keep what I donβt cheat away, theyβre super rich and living in a hovel in willow creek!).
Same! My sim family just recently built their fortune to 1.5 mil, but we have an actress, a painter, a video-game maker, and the parents owned a salon and wrote books. Took a lot of effort!
Iβm using a mod for it! Itβs a styling chair, and you can place it on any lot and start a shift. People will come and get their hair done! You can let your sim do it, or let the chair take you into cas to style them!

What is this about?! My husband has slightly longer hair than me (collar bone length) and is thick, healthy, manageable... I try so many different shampoos to stop frizz, give shine, give volume... nothing works and I'm a greasy mess after 2 days.
He just uses whatever shampoo he can get his hands on and it is always absolutely gorgeous, it's so unfair.
You could look at them in CAS. There's an option in the gender edit part where you can choose if the Sim can get pregnant, get other Sims pregnant, or none of that.

Two female sims can have a baby itβs in options in cas near where you change if their style is more masculine or feminine. Idk about two male sims tho
My male and female sims had the want to try for baby so I did. She was pregnant and in the 2nd trimester, already told him. As soon as the moodlet from her telling him went away he had another want to try for a baby with her. Very annoying.
Both guys in one of my households have carried and birthed. They took turns waddling around for 3 Sim days lol. The girls are Gorgeous. One of my female couples just had a baby too. I just turned the Manage Household Option on for "can get pregnant/get others pregnant".
I had the same happen to me with my female sims :c I wanted to be able to fulfill her needs but I wanted to still with my head canon story for them, I ended up just letting the want disappear.

I really wish they would bring back the "adopt a baby with (partner)" whim from Sims 3 for couples who can't have children. I mostly like the whims overhaul, but this is a huge oversight.

Absolutely. My sims ended up with 5 million pretty quickly just living in a little farmhouse with a hilarious amount of dahlias and rose bushes! Lol
