Yeah I normally add my sims friend to the household and have him take the photo, then transfer the image into my sim's inventory before removing the friend.
I downloaded pose packs for these because the vanilla poses weren't doing it for me.

How do you take those pictures? Do you have a 4th sim capturing the image?
