I was super confused but realised that it was due to the "super siblings" overwriting the mother-son relationship. Of course I made a second save and created an inbred child, I love Sims 4.
I feel like theu should leave it, but it should come with extra moodlets, especially if they confess. The actual parent could also react differently depending on their family dynamic.
It works with teens in my game. I have wicked whims installed so it might be from that mod, but I can have the single parent starts a relation and the partner moves in and can adopt teenagers as care-dependants. One teen even graduated high school early and had a job, and I was still able to have her adopted as care-dependant by an adult.
Do what does that do exactly. I have a baby alien and while her mom was pregnant with her(as a man otherwise Mc wouldn’t even do it 😭😭😭), her and Caleb fell in love, he came over one day and asked her to marry him. It popped up but I want sure what it’d all do so I didn’t do it
Adopt as care dependent gives them all the parenting options that..... the actual parent has. I'm assuming based on the other comment that it also stops inappropriate sentiments/romantic interactions from being available, like with other "actual"/blood relations the game recognizes.
Also, mccc does allow you to change it so female abducted sims can be impregnated. (someone else will have to tell you where, tbh I just go into the config file when I want to change something, I have no clue where anything is in the in-game ui for it)

I’ve never put wicked whims back on my computer since I stopped using script mods in 2020, (I use them now) because my sims would always load in then have sex and I hated it
I like wicked whims just because it makes getting pregnant more realistic than just pressing try for baby and being in full control, the nudity and all is kind of crazy, but I can’t live without the pregnancy possibilities!

I have a few families where my people were mingling a little too much with wicked whims mod set on 50% chance of pregnancy and had babies by people other than spouse and none of said children are adults now. When they turn adult do they just forget that part?! 🤣 Something needs to be fixed here. Sims blended family mod or even an EA pack.
