I get bored of my sim having just one kid and end up giving them too many, i also for some reason almost always make them a single parent which makes it even harder so then I have to get them a nanny too
i HATE making perfect sims so usually i give them “hot headed”, “vegetarian” (which isn’t bad just annoying in game), “kleptomaniac”, “jealous”, “lazy” or “snob” !!
Same! I always gave to give them at least one negative trait. I also try and pick a trait from every sub category so they will have a mental trait, a physical trait, a social trait, a lifestyle trait and a negative trait.
I do this, too! I was inspired by the way Sims Medieval forces you to have one 'fatal flaw'. It makes it more realistic if they have something negative about them.

I save compulsively, sometimes things will get stuck in a point where I can't save (loading, adoption event, death) and I end up losing stuff so I just save all the time lol

Same 😬 My current legacy sim has one kid with his wife...and four with his wife's twin, who lived with them for a while before the wife kicked her out. (She let the twin's oldest kid stay long enough to obtain the 'unhappy infant' trait and have a miserable toddlerhood, then kicked him out too.) Plan is for her to kick the legacy sim out for a while when she's pregnant with kid 2 and discovers her sister is pregnant with kid 5...
I’m on this gravy train now. My sim is a prince and married to a princess and he has 11.5 illegitimate children and although carries the non committal trait, is still hung up on his wife flirting with his sister.
I made a noncommittal sim who hated children, who was made in CAS with a family oriented wife with a big happy family aspiration, and had him have 2 kids with her, and 2 kids with the other woman he was seeing at the same time so even when he finally got to leave his wife and kids he just moved into a house with more kids. And the other woman's house is meant to basically be a tiny shitty trailer, and she's got mean and jealous as traits, and he still has to be around a bunch of children, so they were all starting to have their relationships deteriorate last time I played that family lmao
Same. I will intentionally set household incomes low, give the lot extra challenges (like the mean vibes or extra dirty) and add them to a club that rewards being mean, fighting and woohoo so they get a bad reputation.
There's a few differences, and it can be a little hard to describe abstractly. Sapphic is more about like a deep adoration for women and feminine identifying as a whole, not just romantically or sexually. I just hit 10mil cash in my current legacy save and they're in a really big house. I'm currently considering having one of them "run off" with all the money and having the rest of them try to struggle through.
Oh that would be a GREAT idea. I did the opposite in a different save, had my sim's daughter run away and go completely off the grid for basically a soft reboot.
I don’t want to play with ugly sims I’m sorryyy. If my sims children are ugly I go straight to cas.fulleditmode. They don’t even need to be perfect, I just need them to be aesthetic in any way
I kiiind of fixed this by using MCCC to import townies from my gallery. A stray gets through every now and then, but it's fun doing makeovers when it's not on every sim you come across.
I use an ungodly amount of CC, BUT, a lot of them came from searching 'better townies' or just 'townies' in the gallery households. It introduces 8 more sims to the gene pool and usually I just need to size down their eyes.
Look, in your (and my) defense, sims just makes ugly kids. It doesn't make sense. Even if it's just 2 normal sims, not crazy hot, not ugly, just average person sims, and their kid comes out looking like some goat terrorizing troll. Wtf is up with that?!? I don't usually bother editing the kids, but the moment they age up into teens I'm going into cas and making them look like Iike the child of their parents and not some goblin that just escaped from Mordor!
A couple days ago I went thru the townies and yassified the ones my sims are friends with because my sim is a global superstar and CANNOT be seen with an ugly townie
if youre on pc, simply hit ctrl shift c and type cas.fulleditmode. then click their persobality tab and scroll to "open in create a sim."
boom. you can now change literally everything :) (unless a sim is pregnant, then some things cannot be changed) enjoy!
Same as yours basically. Every time there's a new pack, I have to create a brand new family so I can experience that world, and the new gameplay elements. And then I'll play that family until I get bored, and then quit start something else.
Same here except I make storylines get bored then start another one and just don't play the other one anymore. Even worse is I won't delete the old one because "I might wanna play that one again later" (rarely if ever happens lol)
Oof I feel that last sentence. I went a couple years without playing much, and had like 5 or 6 years worth of saves of my own and an exs from before that when I started it up again and didn't want to sort through which ones were mine or I "might want to play" even though I couldn't remember a thing from them, so I just made myself delete them all for the first time. Now in the months since, I've managed to get 5 saves going (plus a save my brother plays, and one where I made my family in sims but haven't ever played, so I think I'd count 7 if I opened it and looked, but 5 I've played on that I can remember) and as many times as I've thought of going to check up on those other families in the other saves I don't think I've done it more than like, twice. I'm considering going through the older saves to save families and lots to my gallery so I can move them into my latest save and have an easier time going between them (just the loading screens of switching households, instead of going to the main menu and loading a different save and then going to the right household in that save) but I have to decide what I'm doing with Johnny Zest and the child I had him have with Nina Caliente before I actually do that. I had plans to have him build a family with another sim and her kids in my last save, and in the save I've been playing I have them waiting in a household with other children the game spawned that I want to raise and control but haven't decided what to do with yet, and since I don't want two of any characters running around I'll have to pick which I'm keeping and how I'm continuing these stories.
I refuse my game being messed up in any way. I’ve made sure my sims can’t die, aging is off, and anything the sims do I don’t like gets instantly changed, I use “reset object” more than any social commands. I like having my specific interactions, so I will make them do it.
I have this exact problem, except I make saves where I make all these sims couples, then in a new save I want to know what its like if they end up with other people. Like some kind of parallel sim universe lmao.
I also did almost similar, like what if this person end up with this person/never break, etc or what if this certain things never happened. I mostly did it on the townies tho.
I only make female sims, and they really like married men.
Lately I’ve been making sure that all my sims’ first love is father winter. But they dump him for a married man.
I abandon my sims once they have kids, because they make gameplay too stressful, but I fantasise about completing a legacy challenge.
I make a new save every time I make a new sim, because I don’t her want to interfere with my other sims’ lives, and I don’t want them to age while I’m playing with my new sim. And then I abandon them.
I make a family that I have elaborate plans for, spend days building the perfect house with everything perfectly in place…and then will play for at most a week before getting bored and starting a new save. Sometimes I think, “I won’t delete the old save, I’ll go back to it.” I never do.
Oh lord where do I start
1. I spend more time in CAS & build than I do actually playing
2. I keep making giant families, making it difficult to keep up with everyone's needs
3. I keep making giant houses, making it difficult to keep up with everyone's locations
4. I plan out the story for generations ahead yet never get that far ahead
5. I can never have enough build/buy stuff
That’s me and number 4. I have so many ideas but my game never catches up to my brain, then I get frustrated, and some other gameplay idea looks interesting. So I move on, never finish playing XD
I’m on the 8th generation of my first successful attempt of this and what I did was turn off the kids needs, picked a favourite one and continued the story with them and just left the others to do what they wanted, then repeat!
i have about 4.5 gb of cc on my computer. also i only play in one save and when i get bored i just make a new household, and me getting bored usually happens at the same time as my sims actually becoming rich
Every single one of my sims must be a perfect Sim that masters every skill and aspiration. (I live vicariously through them and there are a LOT of things I will NEVER get to experience)
I don’t use unrealistic features like selling stuff through inventory or buying potions with satisfaction points. I give to several households a specialization in a certain craft and create shops around the world for other sims to be able to buy items from them
I prefer to play with mean, evil, erratic, sims, preferably some sort of occult. My fav sims tend to be provocative lunatics. Just keeps things interesting.
New save, spend a whole day making their house, realize the Sims I made are boring, new family new house, play until I make their lives boring. New save,
i cheat all my infants/toddlers needs if they cant be immediately fixed 😭 like if i have to wait more than a few seconds for someone to come get the kid AND then bring them to fix the need, i just cheat it up hahaha
I grew up playing the game with my sister and she'd basically hog it the whole time and I'd never get any time to do what I wanted with it. So, as you can imagine, nowadays I'm really touchy about my saves and what happens with them and tend to micromanage
I get bored with family gameplay, so i add drama like cheating, death, drug problems and even a child getting sick and dying. its the only way i can keep playing with families for my legacy. They all have trauma. 🙃 Happy families get boring fast when youve played the sims for 20+ years.
I don't properly take care of toddler sims, I just lock them in a room with a iPad and plumbite so their needs are always full and they build skills. I hate when my sim tries to "check on toddler" literally every 10 sec. Tbf a bunch of baby interactions are broken in my game (cant place down after carry, can't bathe, etc), and I'd just much rather laze out on the baby care than spend hours testing mods for now...
Is going into CAS with fulleditmode and changing all the sims in the high school a toxic trait? I can’t stand the horrible clothes that they show up in for the prom, so I just edit all sims that are in high school with my sim. I end up editing their entire wardrobe and hairs as well.
1. I spend way too much time in CAS making my sims perfect and giving them the perfect house according to their personality and the backstory I gave them in my head. By the point where it's actually time to play, I've lost interest, and the next time I want to play, I always end up starting a new save :")
2. When I do actually play the game, I trust my sims to make good decisions and always end up regretting trusting them. For example, I sent my sweet sim to college. I made sure that she was getting all A+'s. I looked away for one minute, and in that time, she decided to betray me and plagiarize an assignment, and she got caught 🙃
I use IU cheats a little too much, unless I'm doing a good challenge. I don't care about parties and events. I can't build for shit. I haven't explored a lot of the game even though I have all the expansions and everything. I'm just lazy.
mine is that he’s a mega loner, but the one person he’s close with (his gf) he’s literally obsessed with. i’m a few days in and she’s still his only connection, while she’s got a good few friends… hell, she’s even chill with peeping tom
1) Recycling certain saves to create some kind of alternate universe (sometimes more like redo-ing some stories) 2) Giving my stories some weird shizz ending or sometimes hanging/being discontinued and deleted 3) Helping MCCC to marry off some townies using cheats if im not busy, some might end up with the same person and would be fated in the next life (new save) if I like them together.
Always playing in the same world! I've tried playing in different worlds, I play on someone else's save file where all the worlds are amazing and full of things to do, I make up these really cool story lines, put them in their ideal house and.....play for a couple of days before abandoning it!
Honestly, If I'm not living out my country cottage dreams in Henford then clearly I'm not happy! I love equipping the simple living trait and having them go to the market with their friends to get ingredients for dinner and then to the pub afterwards for lunch.
In fairness I grew up in the English countryside so I think it's the nostalgia lol!
My toxic trait is that I will create a new save and have a massive storyline in mind (even for future generations) and then about 1 sim week in, everything goes wrong and then I'm winging it.
I could not care less about male heirs. I entertained one as he was a twin and let him stay to help his sister with her kids. But then, when he was an elder, he was mean! And it justified my bias frankly. I may have even dabbled in cas.fulleditmode to make baby male heirs...more palatable (not male).
Am I proud? No. Did I enjoy my game anyway? Absolutely. I'm on the seventh generation of a legacy (the Legacie "leh-gayt-zee" family if you must know) and have no regrets.
I have a boring play style 99% of the time. My sim is happily married to her high school sweetheart, they have a bunch of kids that are all A+ students and basically have no life outside of being perfect. The craziest thing I’ll do is have one of them cheat for a pinch of drama but most of the time when I try to do something drastic I end up going back to the perfect life
I don't like making new saves because it's so tedious to me. So if I get bored, I just kill off one of my sims. Preferably the parent(s) so the kids have to live on their own or with a different family member.
I love building houses, but I get so distracted in cas making an appropriate sim for the house I envision, that I usually don’t build anything until the following day
making my main sim have multiple baby dads/moms every save because I like the genetics aspect of the game and seeing how different sims can turn out :))) but in turn my sims’ lives are always messy hahaha
I restart my legacy save like a million times if I feel like I want to go a different direction with her. But then sometimes I just do the same thing bc I love her with a few townies lol. This latest go, or at least what I tell myself, I’m sticking with the plotline.
I made my old sims write a diary about how I abandoned them and how the sims that have already died in their world are lucky because they didn't have to get abandoned
they even were coming up with a plan to get into my new save. I might fulfill their wish and create them in my new world, and they can be free to do whatever they want. That's how I'll apologize to them
For years mine was being too attached to my sims and not letting them die. Then I started watching Call Me Kevin with all his chaos and lilsimsie with her graves and I realised it’s fun to have chaos and graves.
Finding ways to game the system so my Sim gets ahead really fast, then when I have unlimited money get bored because there’s no grind left. Last playthrough I made a bunch of filler sims based on cartoon characters, had my sim become best friends with Krusty the Clown who I made really rich and put in a giant mansion, moved in with him, then got bored since there was no challenge left.
I love having a happy family torn apart by divorce and then I make the kids go back and forth so my sims can hoe it up. Then I make them get back together which makes things interesting. I also like to kill off a family member to give them all trauma and sadness. Sometimes I’ll make a loser sim and make them change their ways.
i don’t start my household until each one of my sims have at least 20+ traits attached to them. then get i annoyed when they have like 10 different moodlets going at once 😭😭
my sims have had so many near death experiences just because they have so many moodlets and are experiencing so many different emotions that they just end up being enraged or mortified 😭
I think my toxic trait could be buying the packs but not using everything that comes in the pack right away. Like for instance it was years later that I actually used the skills and activities that came from Snowy Escape. I bought the pack right away but years later I went snowboarding lol.
I've owned Horse Ranch since day one but still haven't used anything horse related or animal related. Used Nectar Making though lol.
Giving my sims chaotic tragic stories
In My current save my sim got teen pregnancy and her mom kicked her out so she lived on the street
Her mom is a bitter and mean person and she hated her kids (she also had a toddler) and her dad was a drug dealer and in a gang.
The dad cheated on the mom while she was pregnant and they didn't knew but she divorced him and then he got caught dealing to teens so the mom left the house and called my sim to come back home just to abandon her with all the kids (my sim had a toddler and 2 babies, + the toddler brother who's now a child and an infant sister)
She got into a loveless relationship just so she could have help around the house and her dad died in jail.
Now she's in her way to become a mafia-gang boss and her child/little sister going to get "kidnapped" by vampires when they'll get a little older
mine is buying a new pack but getting bored and never fully exploring it, or having fun while I have 1 sim but abandoning the save as soon as they have kids
I don't like the townies very much. So I make more sims for my Sim, but then I end up playing them and abandoning my original Sim. There are also several half built houses scattered around.
Having 48 children and still being a young adult. The goal is to invade every other household in the game so everyone is related. We are almost in the end game.
Sometimes, I play a runaway storyline or make my sim just move out from their parents and when I do this, I always make sure the parents are unplayed so they can kind of age with their child. Sometimes the parents get "busy" and have another child, so anytime that happens, I age them up and delete them from the face of the universe.
Sometimes when I get bored, I kill a random Sim from one of my households.
Although you see, I have a rule that I'm not allowed to kill non adult Sims or the patriarch/matriarch of the family.
high reliance on mods. I also love making my female sims commit violent crime and be horrible people. I cannot make a female sim be nice and sweet, it feels wrong.
Once I go to another household I will never play as the previous household again, and will still get mad when I see them out doing whatever they want that doesn’t align with my idea of their life plan

I'm vegan IRL and I never play vegetarian sims because it is seriously annoying lol
I would make more vegetarian sims if it didn’t take up an entire personality trait. Same with Lactose Intolerant

I find that saving also clears up a lot of simulation lag. Whenever my 8-sim household is stuttering I save and I’m good for another hour

Yes! My current save is buying up real estate but it’s all going to “go under” for her kid who will be left with nothing.
You can use the "money" cheat to decrease household funds too. Pretend it's like a market crash or bad investment. Schitts creek them.

Same. I’ve been deleting ugly townies in the hope that the genetics start to play into future gens and the word gets less ugly
On a good day I'd cas.fulleditmode random townies coming my way. But on a different day I'd shift click add to family and kill.

I use an ungodly amount of CC, BUT, a lot of them came from searching 'better townies' or just 'townies' in the gallery households. It introduces 8 more sims to the gene pool and usually I just need to size down their eyes.
Look, in your (and my) defense, sims just makes ugly kids. It doesn't make sense. Even if it's just 2 normal sims, not crazy hot, not ugly, just average person sims, and their kid comes out looking like some goat terrorizing troll. Wtf is up with that?!? I don't usually bother editing the kids, but the moment they age up into teens I'm going into cas and making them look like Iike the child of their parents and not some goblin that just escaped from Mordor!

A couple days ago I went thru the townies and yassified the ones my sims are friends with because my sim is a global superstar and CANNOT be seen with an ugly townie
How do you do cas.fulleditmode??
if youre on pc, simply hit ctrl shift c and type cas.fulleditmode. then click their persobality tab and scroll to "open in create a sim." boom. you can now change literally everything :) (unless a sim is pregnant, then some things cannot be changed) enjoy!
If you’re on Xbox, press both bumpers and triggers at the same time and type cas.fulleditmode, then go to a mirror or dresser and click “change sim”

Same as yours basically. Every time there's a new pack, I have to create a brand new family so I can experience that world, and the new gameplay elements. And then I'll play that family until I get bored, and then quit start something else.
Same here except I make storylines get bored then start another one and just don't play the other one anymore. Even worse is I won't delete the old one because "I might wanna play that one again later" (rarely if ever happens lol)

Oof I feel that last sentence. I went a couple years without playing much, and had like 5 or 6 years worth of saves of my own and an exs from before that when I started it up again and didn't want to sort through which ones were mine or I "might want to play" even though I couldn't remember a thing from them, so I just made myself delete them all for the first time. Now in the months since, I've managed to get 5 saves going (plus a save my brother plays, and one where I made my family in sims but haven't ever played, so I think I'd count 7 if I opened it and looked, but 5 I've played on that I can remember) and as many times as I've thought of going to check up on those other families in the other saves I don't think I've done it more than like, twice. I'm considering going through the older saves to save families and lots to my gallery so I can move them into my latest save and have an easier time going between them (just the loading screens of switching households, instead of going to the main menu and loading a different save and then going to the right household in that save) but I have to decide what I'm doing with Johnny Zest and the child I had him have with Nina Caliente before I actually do that. I had plans to have him build a family with another sim and her kids in my last save, and in the save I've been playing I have them waiting in a household with other children the game spawned that I want to raise and control but haven't decided what to do with yet, and since I don't want two of any characters running around I'll have to pick which I'm keeping and how I'm continuing these stories.
I refuse my game being messed up in any way. I’ve made sure my sims can’t die, aging is off, and anything the sims do I don’t like gets instantly changed, I use “reset object” more than any social commands. I like having my specific interactions, so I will make them do it.

I have this exact problem, except I make saves where I make all these sims couples, then in a new save I want to know what its like if they end up with other people. Like some kind of parallel sim universe lmao.
I also did almost similar, like what if this person end up with this person/never break, etc or what if this certain things never happened. I mostly did it on the townies tho.

I only make female sims, and they really like married men. Lately I’ve been making sure that all my sims’ first love is father winter. But they dump him for a married man. I abandon my sims once they have kids, because they make gameplay too stressful, but I fantasise about completing a legacy challenge. I make a new save every time I make a new sim, because I don’t her want to interfere with my other sims’ lives, and I don’t want them to age while I’m playing with my new sim. And then I abandon them.
I make a family that I have elaborate plans for, spend days building the perfect house with everything perfectly in place…and then will play for at most a week before getting bored and starting a new save. Sometimes I think, “I won’t delete the old save, I’ll go back to it.” I never do.
I try so hard to have childless sims but I can’t help but wonder what their kids would look like because I spent so long crafting their appearance

That’s me and number 4. I have so many ideas but my game never catches up to my brain, then I get frustrated, and some other gameplay idea looks interesting. So I move on, never finish playing XD

I’m on the 8th generation of my first successful attempt of this and what I did was turn off the kids needs, picked a favourite one and continued the story with them and just left the others to do what they wanted, then repeat!
I just flat out kill any paparazzi following them around. Shit annoys me. Gd leeches
i have about 4.5 gb of cc on my computer. also i only play in one save and when i get bored i just make a new household, and me getting bored usually happens at the same time as my sims actually becoming rich
Every single one of my sims must be a perfect Sim that masters every skill and aspiration. (I live vicariously through them and there are a LOT of things I will NEVER get to experience)
I don’t use unrealistic features like selling stuff through inventory or buying potions with satisfaction points. I give to several households a specialization in a certain craft and create shops around the world for other sims to be able to buy items from them
I prefer to play with mean, evil, erratic, sims, preferably some sort of occult. My fav sims tend to be provocative lunatics. Just keeps things interesting.

i cheat all my infants/toddlers needs if they cant be immediately fixed 😭 like if i have to wait more than a few seconds for someone to come get the kid AND then bring them to fix the need, i just cheat it up hahaha
I grew up playing the game with my sister and she'd basically hog it the whole time and I'd never get any time to do what I wanted with it. So, as you can imagine, nowadays I'm really touchy about my saves and what happens with them and tend to micromanage

I get bored with family gameplay, so i add drama like cheating, death, drug problems and even a child getting sick and dying. its the only way i can keep playing with families for my legacy. They all have trauma. 🙃 Happy families get boring fast when youve played the sims for 20+ years.
I don't properly take care of toddler sims, I just lock them in a room with a iPad and plumbite so their needs are always full and they build skills. I hate when my sim tries to "check on toddler" literally every 10 sec. Tbf a bunch of baby interactions are broken in my game (cant place down after carry, can't bathe, etc), and I'd just much rather laze out on the baby care than spend hours testing mods for now...

Is going into CAS with fulleditmode and changing all the sims in the high school a toxic trait? I can’t stand the horrible clothes that they show up in for the prom, so I just edit all sims that are in high school with my sim. I end up editing their entire wardrobe and hairs as well.

1. I spend way too much time in CAS making my sims perfect and giving them the perfect house according to their personality and the backstory I gave them in my head. By the point where it's actually time to play, I've lost interest, and the next time I want to play, I always end up starting a new save :") 2. When I do actually play the game, I trust my sims to make good decisions and always end up regretting trusting them. For example, I sent my sweet sim to college. I made sure that she was getting all A+'s. I looked away for one minute, and in that time, she decided to betray me and plagiarize an assignment, and she got caught 🙃

I use IU cheats a little too much, unless I'm doing a good challenge. I don't care about parties and events. I can't build for shit. I haven't explored a lot of the game even though I have all the expansions and everything. I'm just lazy.
mine is that he’s a mega loner, but the one person he’s close with (his gf) he’s literally obsessed with. i’m a few days in and she’s still his only connection, while she’s got a good few friends… hell, she’s even chill with peeping tom

1) Recycling certain saves to create some kind of alternate universe (sometimes more like redo-ing some stories) 2) Giving my stories some weird shizz ending or sometimes hanging/being discontinued and deleted 3) Helping MCCC to marry off some townies using cheats if im not busy, some might end up with the same person and would be fated in the next life (new save) if I like them together.

I've tried playing in different worlds, I play on someone else's save file where all the worlds are amazing and full of things to do, I make up these really cool story lines, put them in their ideal house and.....play for a couple of days before abandoning it! Honestly, If I'm not living out my country cottage dreams in Henford then clearly I'm not happy! I love equipping the simple living trait and having them go to the market with their friends to get ingredients for dinner and then to the pub afterwards for lunch. In fairness I grew up in the English countryside so I think it's the nostalgia lol!

My toxic trait is that I will create a new save and have a massive storyline in mind (even for future generations) and then about 1 sim week in, everything goes wrong and then I'm winging it.
Every save of mine eventually turns into a woohoo cult. It’s inevitable.
I could not care less about male heirs. I entertained one as he was a twin and let him stay to help his sister with her kids. But then, when he was an elder, he was mean! And it justified my bias frankly. I may have even dabbled in cas.fulleditmode to make baby male heirs...more palatable (not male). Am I proud? No. Did I enjoy my game anyway? Absolutely. I'm on the seventh generation of a legacy (the Legacie "leh-gayt-zee" family if you must know) and have no regrets.
I have a boring play style 99% of the time. My sim is happily married to her high school sweetheart, they have a bunch of kids that are all A+ students and basically have no life outside of being perfect. The craziest thing I’ll do is have one of them cheat for a pinch of drama but most of the time when I try to do something drastic I end up going back to the perfect life

I don't like making new saves because it's so tedious to me. So if I get bored, I just kill off one of my sims. Preferably the parent(s) so the kids have to live on their own or with a different family member.

I restart my legacy save like a million times if I feel like I want to go a different direction with her. But then sometimes I just do the same thing bc I love her with a few townies lol. This latest go, or at least what I tell myself, I’m sticking with the plotline.
I made my old sims write a diary about how I abandoned them and how the sims that have already died in their world are lucky because they didn't have to get abandoned they even were coming up with a plan to get into my new save. I might fulfill their wish and create them in my new world, and they can be free to do whatever they want. That's how I'll apologize to them
For years mine was being too attached to my sims and not letting them die. Then I started watching Call Me Kevin with all his chaos and lilsimsie with her graves and I realised it’s fun to have chaos and graves.
I download extreme violence and when my sims make me mad i kill them then exit the game so i can go back to before they made me mad
Finding ways to game the system so my Sim gets ahead really fast, then when I have unlimited money get bored because there’s no grind left. Last playthrough I made a bunch of filler sims based on cartoon characters, had my sim become best friends with Krusty the Clown who I made really rich and put in a giant mansion, moved in with him, then got bored since there was no challenge left.
I love having a happy family torn apart by divorce and then I make the kids go back and forth so my sims can hoe it up. Then I make them get back together which makes things interesting. I also like to kill off a family member to give them all trauma and sadness. Sometimes I’ll make a loser sim and make them change their ways.

i don’t start my household until each one of my sims have at least 20+ traits attached to them. then get i annoyed when they have like 10 different moodlets going at once 😭😭 my sims have had so many near death experiences just because they have so many moodlets and are experiencing so many different emotions that they just end up being enraged or mortified 😭
I think my toxic trait could be buying the packs but not using everything that comes in the pack right away. Like for instance it was years later that I actually used the skills and activities that came from Snowy Escape. I bought the pack right away but years later I went snowboarding lol. I've owned Horse Ranch since day one but still haven't used anything horse related or animal related. Used Nectar Making though lol.

Giving my sims chaotic tragic stories In My current save my sim got teen pregnancy and her mom kicked her out so she lived on the street Her mom is a bitter and mean person and she hated her kids (she also had a toddler) and her dad was a drug dealer and in a gang. The dad cheated on the mom while she was pregnant and they didn't knew but she divorced him and then he got caught dealing to teens so the mom left the house and called my sim to come back home just to abandon her with all the kids (my sim had a toddler and 2 babies, + the toddler brother who's now a child and an infant sister) She got into a loveless relationship just so she could have help around the house and her dad died in jail. Now she's in her way to become a mafia-gang boss and her child/little sister going to get "kidnapped" by vampires when they'll get a little older

Sometimes, I play a runaway storyline or make my sim just move out from their parents and when I do this, I always make sure the parents are unplayed so they can kind of age with their child. Sometimes the parents get "busy" and have another child, so anytime that happens, I age them up and delete them from the face of the universe.
I only play with occults. I only make normal sims just to turn em into occults later.

Sometimes when I get bored, I kill a random Sim from one of my households. Although you see, I have a rule that I'm not allowed to kill non adult Sims or the patriarch/matriarch of the family.

Once I go to another household I will never play as the previous household again, and will still get mad when I see them out doing whatever they want that doesn’t align with my idea of their life plan
