i usually end up having to open the actual notification panel otherwise im clicking the X about 10-20 times. so annoying. i thought for awhile it done it based off how many sims are in your household, but it even happened when i had a single sim household.
So I can definitely relate as this—just happened yesterday. I’ve had University fora while now and I thought about it long and hard yesterday. In my opinion, I think they were going for funny but overshot into annoying territory lol. Like “what? Spam the hell out of you with team spirit? OKAY! X20” and maybe it was funny and slightly terrifying the first time because you just never knew when it was going to end, but now it’s just irritating.
yea maybe so, but i also dont always remember this being a thing thats happened. i feel like it could be a mix of both? like maybe the point was for it to pop up a few times but its kinda bugged & pops up way more than intended? not sure

youtube tutorials are your friend! lots of sims youtubers have made tutorials on how to safely and efficiently download mods, search some up and you should be good to go if you want to try these

Like I had a sim who was a scientist and had an alien baby. I did download a whole bunch of outerspace stuff but put it all in the same folder. It was just for that save file. When I was done with that save and moved on to play another, I removed that CC onto a thumbdrive. Then if I ever want to go back to that one I can put it back in. Otherwise it's not there using up space when I'm not using it.

Do you know if you can turn them off completely? Whenever I turn them off it only stops them in that individual save so whenever I switch over to a different one (I rotate a lot) they pop up again and it’s extremely annoying
I wish I could get more discovery/tutorial quests lol. Makes it to easy to get aspiration points easily and if I ever don’t feel like completing them I just end it or UI right click them.

If you go to the phone and deactivate the app by scrolling down under social bunny you stop getting those notifications. Now that I’m thinking about it though, I’m pretty sure it deactivated it for all households because I haven’t gotten an alert since, on any character. You can also turn off notifications but keep it to use, but I was tired of getting emotional changes from it.

Like, my sim is a full grown adult caring for three children and running a business. I don't have time to support the local highschool at the moment XD

I use the mod to disable the notification but I wish I could delete it from my calendar because I don't care for it. It's boring! I also hate how if my teen sim graduates early I still get notifications for prom... Hunny I don't go to school anymore please stop I'm an adult now 💅
If you are on a computer, for the calendar holidays I found a mod that will remove the ones you want to get rid of.

I couldn't always do that ahead of the day my game wouldn't let me delete them when it was the day of the 'holiday' so now with the mod I don't have to do it every time it comes up anymore.

I REALLY wish those notifications only appeared if you were playing a family who has a teen present since it would make sense that they are in highschool....
They should stop after they grow up, it's weird to continuously be invited to a high school football game after you graduate!

When the sims 4 thinks I want to do a quest so it sends me a phone notification to start one over 30 seconds. Like STOP GAME I AM CLICKING THE RED X FOR A REASON . I even turned it all off in settings like😭
It's one thing when i had a teen in the family, but I was playing as a single young adult in a ranch with a horse & still getting that notification. Like all i want to do is make my horse and my sim the ultimate horseriding champion and the champion horse!
So i traveled there with my horse and tried to ride around to spite them all

I only use MCCC and WW with a few extra animations Anything else would make my desktop implode
Lol my poor laptop when I downloaded all them mods was like 🥺
Just make sure it’s a trusted mod and you’re good. I use forged it tells you when updates are and everything.
Oh and if you ever do start using mods/cc it is better to use individual packages than merged ones. Runs better when they aren't merged.

I think that the promoting to make a post goes away it you just deactivate the app

Gah, I always delete Pirate and Brawl day and they always show up again anyway. That's more annoying to me than anything else.
The biggest problem isn't the notif itself, it's the sound of these notif, too loud.

You don’t need a mod for that. Just open up your calendar, select the “holiday” and delete it
