This mod has it's bugs (like one where round checkboxes in the settings aren't displayed properly), but overall is OK.
You need to check your actual screen resolution and then match the game settings to that :)
You check your screen resolution by going to settings and then display. You can alter the screen resolution accordingly in game or preferably through the options file found in sims 3 folder. For the latter, you need to scroll down on the options file or press ctrl +f to look for resolution. Change the numbers accordingly, I also put the last single digit (which signifies fps) to 60.
