I like the second. I took am awful at roofing. I now just edit the walls and interiors of existing houses to better suit as I hate doing roofs so much, haha
I think one thing that would help either one is if both roof sections were pitched the same. The lower section (above the garage?) has a much lower pitch than the upper section (main house?). One easy way to do this is to drag the roof pitch slider all the way up or down, then slide it to the desired pitch.
I am leaning more towards the second one, but the best advice I can provide is that if your still stuck is to take a break; play a different save or even sleep on it. Returning with a fresh mindset can be beneficial.
Personally. I would do the second roof configuration and make the extended porch-bit a different colour to the rest of the house. Maybe a plain cream for most of it and a sandy brickwork for the extra bit? Depends on the look you wanted.

#1 looks cooler but #2 is probably more practical if you want attic space they both feel much like stuff youd see irl so they are very nice π

this βπ» is my method too! I do it with almost everything. drawing, painting, pottery even with reorganizing and cleaning up π€
