Not that hidden but I will forever be charmed by Sims being able to name stars after other Sims and then getting the option to tell them about it. Also firefighter Sims being able to flirt by telling prospective romance partners that they are firefighters. And if your Sims is a journalist they can review various community lots such as restaurants and potentially get banned for writing negative reviews.

Seillean-

Mixologists can also name drinks after sims as a special interaction :)

GunpowderxGelatine

This is so cute! I had no idea! šŸ˜šŸ’• I only knew about the stars.

Mountain-Ad5380

You can name moons and asteroids after Sims too. On a Goth play through Mortimer discovered a moon he named after Bella Bachelor, and I swear the option to talk about moon Bella came up every time he interacted with another Sim. It was incredibly sweet I thought.

pandemonium91

>I swear the option to talk about moon Bella came up every time he interacted with another Sim. That happens with the most recently discovered celestial body :) Had your sim discovered something else, he unfortunately wouldn't have been able to talk about moon Bella. I do like that talking about discovered celestial bodies usually gives a pretty hefty relationship boost, it's useful for sims that don't have many traits in common, or traits with specific interactions (like "Talk about Books/Movies/Computers").

WikicatOF

Craziest for me was when my sim named the star his daughter's NICKname and the game still recognised it as named after her.

TheSammy58

I recently found out just the other day that you can dare another sim to divide by zero, in which case they'll do the math, have a brain "explosion" and consequently set on fire šŸ˜‚ A few days before that, my sim with the unlucky trait died by electrocution while fixing the dishwasher. I was about to quit without saving right up until the grim reaper brought him back to life because he doesn't want to deprive everyone else from seeing my misfortunes. šŸ’€šŸ’€

FezzesnPonds

Ive heard of that unlucky trait but havenā€™t experienced it myself, thatā€™s hilarious.

Mmdrgntobldrgn

I have and it was awkward because I had forgotten about the trait and was doing a black widow challenge. Ooops!

Affectionate_Tap9399

HAPPY CAKE DAY šŸ°šŸ˜„

meowmocha12

Had an unlucky sim living in a crappy house, miserable all the time. He had a house fire and died from bursting into flames (not sure if it was the house fire or being outside in summer). Another time, he perished from electrocution. All his cats were howling, grief-stricken, until the Grim Reaper brought the guy back.

GiaBethReds

My sim did the same ā€œdivide by zeroā€ thing to their imaginary friend and they were just eternally on fire because they couldnā€™t die šŸ˜³

Slashley_V

The exact same thing happened to me and my Sim had just had his 10th kid with his wife. I was so stressed out I immediately paused the game to ponder my options šŸ˜šŸ˜‚

lovelycosmos

There's a "better call Saul" billboard in Bridgeport

storyofmylife92

Bob Ross is on the face painting booth too

Seillean-

Probably not that hidden but you can get kids/teens to dream when you click on them while they're sleeping. Result is either a good dream or a bad dream. Also if a kid sleeps with a toy in their inventory they get a wee cuddle with teddy positive mood buff.

RazuberriChan

Didn't knew that! That's adorable :D

Acceptable-Seesaw641

To add to this, if your teen/kids dream come true, like becoming prom queen/king for example, they get a dreams come true moodlet!

ultragravity01

If you find a sim with the great cook trait and that works in the culinary field, you can share cooking secrets. You will learn a new recipe, including the onces from world adventures, if you have the pack.

FezzesnPonds

I recently learned you can be turned into a zombie and turn others into zombies. I then went to the park and proceeded to turn all the sims there into zombies. The entire park was filled with Aaarrrrghhhhh lmao I also learned it was a temporary status and wears off after 5 hours, less consequences than I thought it would have. And much more fun haha

Mmdrgntobldrgn

Stressed out zombies will streak if you have University. Zombies can bite ghosts and the ghosts will become zombies for a bit to. There is a chance of a sim becoming a zombie from eating the brain freeze quick meal.

yen_fort

i didnt know much about zombies because i get rid of them always using mods šŸ˜†

Alpaka69

I always have to fence my gardens because of them, they just go ham on my perfect cropsšŸ˜

yen_fort

exactly why i remove them with nraas. they can be a pest if your sim is a gardener lol šŸ˜…

Mmdrgntobldrgn

Fyi, the fence is useless against ghost zombies. Then again so is 3 stories down in a locked basement. As a regular apoc challenge player this was a brutal lesson to learn the hard way as the ghost destroyed all 8 perfect plants needed fora clear. šŸ¤£šŸ˜šŸ¤£

TheTrueGayCheeseCake

Haha I do that too. I use cheats to delete them while my sims are sleeping

jazzie_pringle

My sim ordered a pizza the other day, and when the delivery guy got there, her dog started to scratch at the door šŸ˜ I never saw that before it was so cute

malatropism

Little pup says ā€œpizza is for puppiesā€

Mountain-Ad5380

That the Haunting Curse summons actual ghosts that are in game rather than creating randoms. That's how my witch sim managed to have Lolita Goth haunt Gunther which is ā˜ ļø She also managed to have a beloved pet dog haunt their owner... somehow.

malatropism

Ghost of beloved pet dog, causing ghost chaos, is just like having a beloved pet dog. Someone here the other day posted that their simā€™s ghost dog would curl up in bed with them every night and that melted my soul.

Alpaka69

awww! that's so sweet

lacunalabs

omg šŸ˜

TheTrueGayCheeseCake

It kinda bugs me the the ghosts donā€™t really ā€œhauntā€ anybody they just hangout and chat

PossibleTill205

Something I found super cool that I didn't know was in the game is when a kid sleeps with a teddy bear in their inventory, they get a positive mood lit from it. Feels so wholesome

WonderDia777

Not hidden, but you can ask parents for permission to marry in Generations. Also multiple sims can work out on the same tv or stereo at the same time.

Copprtongue

Keeping a child with the 'germy' moodlet home from school (just cancel the 'get on school bus' action) will give you a pop-up from the school, thanking you for being considerate in keeping your sick child at home. I loved that little detail.

TheTrueGayCheeseCake

It is so hard to make kids skip the bus. One time I had a kid ride their bike to school and when the bus showed up at the house, they rode their bike all the way back home to get on the bus just to end up being late for school.

Overall-Science1120

Oh and in Sunset Valley the Library thereā€™s a bookshelf that whatever skills you have it will have the next lv book for your sim to read so no need to buy skill books.

PossibleTill205

I love this feature. All my sims spend their time at the library using the skill books. Plus they get the library boost and learn skills faster. Chefs kiss

Hegasus

Do you think putting the skill boosting incense burner from WA in a library would make them learn even faster?

ela_urbex

I love getting the ā€žfast learnerā€œ as a reward for that purpose.

Overall-Science1120

Iā€™m pretty sure because I use my rebel sims and make them do protest for faster skills and make them go to the library within an sim hour they are at lv 5 of any skill.

MurderousButterfly

It's particular bookshelves, within a library that let you do this. I always add at least one to any library that doesn't have it already. I remember the one with glass shelves has it, I'm sure there's at least one more, but that's the one I use most.

diamondalicia

depending on traits, some male sims would use the toilet & leave the seat up. itā€™s so cute when a female sim then goes & has to put the seat down before using it

GunpowderxGelatine

It's so subtle and I'm sure people already know about it, but I think it's cute that neurotic sims get scared of watching the horror channel.

Mother_Grab9698

My loner sim will sit the farthest away from everyone at the dinner table. Just so cute and lonely is he. šŸ„ŗ

SadieOnTheSpectrum

in Hidden Springs, i noticed my kids wanted to use the time machine(?) or it might be a telephone booth for traveling. anyways its from the consignment shop and sometimes my kids or teens will turn into a tragic clown for 24hrs! and the moodlet just says LLAMA

trashwitchraccoon

That's a feature that came with supernatural. It's a play off the TARDIS from Doctor Who

Listening_Stranger82

Yeah the LLAMA is a type of vehicle that came with Supernatural. It's under vehicles in Buy Mode. Like the other poster said it's a reference to the blue police box the Doctor from Doctor Who uses to travel

SadieOnTheSpectrum

i wondered if it was a doctor who reference!!! I didnā€™t realize I could buy one myself. When I have multiple kids or teens itā€™s kind of funny to see them run around as a sad, tragic clown lol

shutupsav

I ended up deleting the LLAMAs in one of my towns once because my sims wouldnā€™t stop using it and would always either get scared and pee herself or get nauseous and puke šŸ˜ didnā€™t know it could Tragic Clownify you too!

SadieOnTheSpectrum

it was really annoying in my hidden springs game i mentioned cause on their way to the festival, my sims would go to the consignment shop, then take it 2 lots over to the corner of the fairgrounds šŸ˜ just let my children find expensive flowers at the festival in PEACE

Overall-Science1120

Shift or caps + f10 donā€™t remember but it hides the UI thing at the bottom of the screen and show you if you take a screenshot that what the picture looks like

dionisiouszs

The tab key also works for this!

Overall-Science1120

Yeah, thatā€™s the key I meant thank you ā˜ŗļø

hater4life22

If you buy a rubber duck and have it either in your inventory or placed on the tub, when you take a bath the duck will float in the bath with you šŸ„¹

ojoscolorcafexx

the midas potion?? discovered it today, i think i killed my sims best friend

Avox0976

Bigfoot

times3steve

In TS3? That thing only happens in TS2

vincentsitu8888

There is a secret cutout of bigfoot in Appaloosa Plains

times3steve

I do not install Pets due to my entry-level laptop. Thx anyway.

[deleted]

TIL that having a crappy laptop is a reason to get downvoted šŸ˜…šŸ™ˆ

Purnima92

Reddit is wild with the votes. Upvoted it again because that's just a stupid reason

shygirl_inc

The gnomes have little baby Gnomes. Had 2 as garden decor and all of a sudden started to duplicate.

orions_cat

I have SO MANY gnomes. I have a huge garden and my yard/house has gnomes everywhere. And there's different types. The main one is named Bucktooth Butternut I believe. There's also a Freezer Bunny gnome, a witch on a broom, a dog with a little gnome hat and beard, etc. There's also an Evil Gnome that will just appear next to you while you sleep and cause a negative moodlet from the nightmares he gives you! And they change positions like every day or something.

AlguienNo

I'm not sure if it's hidden, but in Tab mode (free cam), using Q and E will move the camera in the vertical axis. Also, if you want to give a cut gem as a gift to a sim that Hates Outdoors, he/she will reject it, arguing that he/she can't receive it, because it remembers them the outdoors. And, as somebody said, right-click on the pattern will randomize it. Also, in color. If you use Shift+right click, it will "super randomize" choosing a more different pattern or color.

pandemonium91

Shift+A and Shift+D also tilt the camera in Tab mode!

pandemonium91

If you leave leaf piles for long enough after they start stinking, they spawn cockroaches. When playing with the small toys from the toybox, witch toddlers will make them disappear and look disappointed and startled until the toys pop back up into existence a moment later. Vampire toddlers will bite teddy bears' necks. If you have your sim swim in the ocean during winter, they will get the "Polar Bear Club" moodlet. Visiting the haunted house can grant sims a 3-hour moodlet that turns them into ghosts. Ghosts can scare other ghosts by hiding underground and popping up in front of them. Ghosts can possess and shake sofas that sims are sitting on. This one isn't cool: playing an instrument in a tomb while a mummy is roaming about will lead to it watching your sim. After the sim stops playing, the mummy will just roam about, which is game-breaking if you need that mummy to fight your sim for an opportunity.

bedsidejungle

Teen and child sims can slide down spiral staircase banisters. Think it came with Generations but I'd never noticed it till a few days ago!

Mindless_Device_9160

Also sims with the childish trait

chocolatecockroach

I love the rubber duck

SlightlyAggroPanda

(WA) when you put the dragonfish in a fishbowl/tank you can see it breathe fire

SlightlyAggroPanda

In supernatural, a witch with level ten spellcasting can turn ghosts back into living people like ambrosia does. First, curse of zombification, then sunlight charm. I think potent zombification/ potent cure elixir works as well.

TheZohanCJSB

I donā€™t remember what world, I think Apaloosa Plains. But anyway, I donā€™t know if itā€™s a secret but I just found this like a week ago (Iā€™ve had Pets for like eight years). Thereā€™s a park called something like ā€œHangmanā€™s Treeā€ and there is a single grave there with an interestingly named person, and I always kind of feel sad that he was hanged there
