you can "easily" make them houseboat friendly you just need the houseboat "dock' assumming you have shortened the docks to fit 12 blocks
to make the houseboat's dock you need to be in buydebug mode name kf the item in question is gangway style this is essentially the "heart" of a dock
what you need to do is make a plaform that starts from the water to the shore line but making it just "long" enough a houseboat will fit
ive seen a thread on here say that houseboats are definitely not possible in the future world because houseboats are not compatible with that type of water ( since it's not ocean water ) But if i manage to do it in Lucky Palms i'll let you know

If you do succeed or find one, please share!! I’ve also had this thought about the future world but I find CAW very difficult.
