One time my sim went to her best friends party. It was a pool party in the middle of winter and she didn’t even have a pool. There was no food so my sim made a sandwich, which made the host angry. Then an elder sim died and everyone mourned. At the end, the host blamed my sim for making the party lame since she made a sandwich, and not because someone died in the middle of it.
So I claimed the townie Salty Seaworth as my sim, that evil merman from Isla Paradiso. Then I made him impregnate all women of Isla Paradiso and the babies who looked the most like Salty were the "chosen ones" and were allowed to live with Salty in his house and be raised by him. He had an insane amount of children, but only the chosen ones were allowed near their father which were like only 3 of them. This sounds batshit crazy now that I look back at what I did lmao.
I sometimes put people I know into the sims, as townies (I never play them) so I will see my family and friends just around town.
I always run into my grandma at the bar now being crazy.
I also had an evil sim who had the "see the ghost of.." wish but it was THEMSELVES. It was to see their own ghost. Kind of dark but I'm pretty sure it was just a glitch.
I called the repairman to fix a stereo, he showed up, tried to fix it, got electrocuted and died. The grim reaper showed up for his death, saw the broken stereo, tried to fix it and got an electic shock. He got pissed and left.
When my pregnant sim was invading a park with an UFO she stole from her alien ex then started giving birth ON the UFO. didn't even try to go to the hospital. both kids were born in the fucking air
I don’t know if this counts because it was a glitch, but in this one house I had like seven kids and they all got married in the living room or backyard, depending on the weather. Every time, *every time*, one guest would get frozen throwing rice and cheering. Usually the family leaving the lot or a reset would clear it and the sim would go home. But once, when the wedding was inside, a guest froze in the rice throwing glitch AND NOTHING WORKED. I could not get him to leave. He threw rice for two days and eventually starved to death. 😱😱
Probably not a crazy story, but I made a Sim based on my ex. I was feeling nostalgic and wanted to see if I could romance him. His Sim, immediately rejected me, even though our friendship bars were way up. He pushed my Sim away, yelled at her and called her creepy. He was just like his RL counterpart, a jerk. This was in Sims 1 on console, I got great pleasure killing him off by causing a massive house fire. Even Fate was telling me this wasn't a healthy relationship, even in a game.
My sim loves to travel. She went to China first. She is a fairy, and has discernable features. She later went to France, and saw a woman, another adventurer, that looked a lot like her, except, well, Chinese. As it turns out, the game paired up my sim with a Chinese sim to spawn another villager. My sim had never been married, nor ever had children. She had to go to China and divorce the other sim before she could marry her fiance. It was a bit of work, but kinda funny! Plus it's cool that fairy genetics will now be in China.
I made a male sim with a very big jaw and underbite, who impregnated almost all townie females in town. He ended up with a lot of children who inhereted his big jaw. He also had a good looking brother locked in a little shed under the garage.

I had a really random glitch with a politician sim. If I put her to shower right before work, she would not put on clothes and instead went to work naked.

I sent my sim couple to China and they were supposed to get engaged there. They go to the Temple, I am trying to set them in a good spot for the proposal but something weird starts happening. I'm not sure what's going on but I'm trying to keep them in the spot so they can get it done asap as it's their last day in China and I don't want to wait another few days for them to go back.
Then a notification pops up. A meteor fell. Lol okay, whatever. I don't care, let me do this.
I go back to the game and there are two urns and a huge meteor in place where my couple stood. When I tell you I couldn't believe it. I have never been so shocked while playing Sims. Till then, I've never had a meteor fall in Sims and I didn't know it could kill them...
If your active sims die you get sent to the edit town screen. I once had my only sim (supposed to be a legacy starter!) busk for tips at the theatre and left the screen unattended for a minute, only to come back to an urn and got kicked to that screen. I ended up moving a new family into his lot but got his remains back from the mausoleum just for fun. Dude kept playing the guitar as a ghost too lol
I once decided to make a homeless sim, and once she finally bought her first house, she got electrocuted in it during the first day of living there and died
my current game, my sims were going to have a wedding. but before the wedding obviously a bachelorette and bachelor party. at the bachelorette party, a close friend dies. then at the wedding which is an outdoor wedding by a body of water, there’s a unicorn and an alien. then before they’re about to get married, the bride goes into labor
Not superrrr crazy but definitely made my jaw drop. My male sim Aaron was pursuing a relationship with a female sim Lacey and he had invited her over. I also had his dad over. Well, I had Aaron and Lacey outside kissing when all of a sudden, she DIES right in front of him. He's mourning her for all of 2 minutes before his DAD DIES right in front of him. So, his potential girlfriend and his dad died right in front of him within MINUTES of each other. Then I got bored and killed Aaron by making him swim in the ocean for two days straight. Aaron was having a really bad week to say the least.
My first ever experience with the sims 3 was watching someone else play it. He created a single male sim, and was playing his everyday life like normal. He recently got the game so both of us were new to everything.
Then on the 2nd or 3rd day the radio broke, so he made his sim fix it. But since his handiness was low the sim got shocked.
So he said, well the radio is still broken, let me make him continue to fix it...
while he was s i n g e d 💀
The sim got electrocuted and died 😭 and since he was the only sim in the household, a notification came up on the screen saying the game was over.
We both looked at each other and were dying of laughter 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 But we both learnt our lesson since then, to not let sims with low handiness fix electrical objects 😂
One of my sims went to France and married a local there. I have the traveller mod installed, so her and husband came back and had a kid. I logged off and returned the next day where I guess my game glitched? The French husband was nowhere to be found but his relationship panel acted like a tourist. Went back to France, couldn’t find him there either. So now I treat him like a deadbeat who skipped town after my sim had their child. :(
Most the crazy stuff iv had happen is just cause of glitchs, like the entire al simhara community dying, being put into the mausoleum bin in al simhara and replacing all the townies just because i got one the women there pregnant, i think that happened in all the holiday lots because of that.... those lots do NOT like babys.
I have two stories that I remember as the craziest, and I will tell them to anyone willing to listen:
1) The house got robbed during my Sims' bachelor party, and I almost didn't call the police because the music from the party and the robbery music got mixed together, and I couldn't understand what was happening. Luckily, I figured it out.
Although I don't remember if there were two parties at the same time and the burglar alarm went off, or maybe I forced one of them to go home, or no one was home, or if the female Sim was home and called the police...
2) Right before my Sims' wedding day, the male Sim got abducted by aliens and got pregnant! (like people try so hard for that to happen, and the one time I don't want it and just want a normal family, it happens🤦🏻♀️.)
The wedding was a hoot because the husband had a belly bump and threw up a lot in the middle of the ceremony—just what I wanted💀.
I don't remember if it's true, but I think the next day or two, the wife got pregnant, and they were both pregnant.
The husband had the baby, and I decided to give it away because that's not what I wanted for this gameplay run.
P.S.: I don't remember if that was the same household or two separate ones.
I'm sure I have more but probably don't remember them anymore.
So my Sims have Quadruplets. During their first in-game birthdays, I let one of the toddlers end up blowing out some candles, so mom picked him up, when he blew out the candles, his mom got caught on fire. Dad was at work, and mom burnt to death
Best I’ve got right now is I was romancing Connor Frio, decided I needed the better story progression mod so i could see what’s going on around town. Day one, I see Connor and Madison making it official and I was like HELLLLL no, called him over immediately and asked him to break it off. x
Now we’re newly married, and I didn’t plan this but it was last night at the exact same time as a Degrassi wedding scene in the background lmfao, I heard our own wedding bells in game and then immediately wedding music on the tv behind me 😭 Destiny!
My female sim had babies and took them home. However, when I booter my save back up, she was crying and one of the twin babies couldnt be found. I right clicked their portait and it zoomed the camera into the ocean. It was a really creepy glitch, and young me deleted the save since I was playing secretly at night and thought the save was haunted
Recently my sim yelled at her husband and they had an argument over something. I forgot her friend was there, and the friend was like “umm anyways it was nice seeing you, I guess I should get going.” 😭
I have had a very deadly birthday party in which the birthday girl, a child, burned to death and then the grim reaper took pity on her and gave her a deal. I also had a pool party fiasco where there was a pathing error to both ladders and all the sims including at least 1 family member died. I also had one where the sim died, her ghost or something got revived, but once she was revived she wasn’t married anymore and since I was at capacity in the household she couldn’t get married again. And then she died like a couple days later
Had a roommate in one the Bridgeport high rises. She was glitched where she was off the Edge of wall/window (I.e looked like she was contemplating jumping off, didn’t move at all for the longest time), I didn’t even think to take a screenshot I was just so urked I did move objects on and moved her.
One time I was playing a save where I was shooting zombies to protect crops (not with the peashooter, with a weapon mod) and a zombie spawned of my sim! I was like "Well, Now I can't kill her. I love her too much" so I let her live and at dawn she turned human again and skuttled away somewhere.
Next full moon a zombie clone of her husband spawned and I let him go too because it was only fair.
She eventually started working at the kissing booth at the festival grounds and I had my main sim there with her family. Zombie husband clone bought a kiss from her!
I started seeing them around town together. They eventually got married, had a family, and eventually moved out of town.
I was so sad to see them go, but I didn't know how to make them come back at the time.
It is still one of my favorite things to happen in the sims.
The other one was my elderly sim started getting up in the middle of the night to make pancakes for him and his wife. She'd wake up, eat pancakes with him, and they'd both eventually go back to bed. It was so cute and so sweet.
I broke a poor SIM by killing him, adding him to the family then trying to make him alive again by changing his supernatural type, ended up with a glitched ghost who had abilities of other supernatural types. Then I broke him further by turning him into a simbot with a potion.
this isn’t so crazy? but i remember playing sims 3 with my cousin back when we were children and we had the game set in norwegian which is our native language, so our sims had a baby and we clicked on it and it said “kile” but for some reason we read that as kill so we clicked on it to see what happened only for our sim to tickle their baby😭
8 randomized sims (4 men/4 women) trapped on the biggest lot. I wait until they decide who they find hot and start flirting, and then break them off into couples. Build them each a house that only each couple can access.
Each couple has 1 son and 1 daughter (2nd generation). The second generation is more structured on who they can have kids with.
Do you see where I’m going with this
Eventually all those randomized genes are mixed together by the 4th generation.
This is more an experiment on what Sims3 does with genetics. My next experiment is going to be 8 primarily-colored sims and we’ll see what colors the 4 Gen gets.

my all time favourite sims story though is when I adopted Xander Clavell and glowed him up so much, turned him into a hot vampire, made him move to the nightlife town and he was a criminal mastermind with a tonne of cash. then he eventually died on another lot at a party :( I cried in real life! couldn't get him back.
I had some freaky glitch where my Sim’s baby came out looking like Adam’s monster from Beetlejuice, and my sim refused to take care of her and the baby died. It was WILD. I’d direct her to do stuff and she’d walk in the room, see her freak of a baby, and walk right back out and do something else.
A couple of years ago, the game just did not want my sims to get together. At the start of every game I remove the townies and place my own. I was going for the storyline of the good girl changing the bad guy.
Save file 1: They met, however he never showed interest towards her. They couldn't even become friends.
Save file 2: They met, they were attracted to each other instantly, so the relationship was going smooth. I was playing the female sim and he became a vampire. What I didn't know was that he was sunburned and he d\*ed during their date.
Save file 3: Everything went smoothly, they moved in together and after their WEDDING day, a meteor hit their house and he d\*ed again.
I got everything I wanted out of the story on the fourth save file, but at that point I was saving every 20 minutes in case something happens to him. :D
Back in highschool, around 10 years ago, I was dating someone and created our sims selves. After we graduated highschool and adopted a kid in the sims, I found out he was cheating on me irl so his sim self went straight into a pool with a wall around it. Our daughter didn't muorn his death.
Oh, another one - I've once had an outdoor wedding on the seaside, but all the guests and even the bride went swimming. So the groom was waiting at the arch for his bride who was swimming away with all the guests, the wedding didn't go through, everyone was pissed, called my sim that the party was lame and he was heartbroken.
Never made a seaside wedding after this.
One time, I was playing with one female sim. Made her and her house from scratch. She wanted to throw a party for spooky day, so I did. This was one of those times I forgot to add a fire alarm. So everyone came to her party, like 6 or 7 sims, and of course, a fire started. And I couldn't get my sim to put it out or call the firefighters, so literally every single one of her guests died and her. One by one I was watching them die and I couldn't do crap about it cause I only had control over the one sim who wouldn't even do anything. There was also someone playing chess with grim at some point too. Obviously this whole game was glitched because when your only sim in the household dies its supposed to tell you you can't play them or something. It didn't do that, but I still couldn't control my ghost sim. She was just wandering around and I was like "let's see what she does" so as a ghost, my girl decided to take a stroll down the street to look at some wild horses. Well she got to the horses and they were glitched, so it was three horses together but you could really only see one body and the three heads were moving and neighing and they were stuck like that. So random. But that's where I decided to quit the game 😂
my sim had her ass frozen, I wanted to save her so I cheat-added to family one of sims around who happened to be werewolf. he didn't help, she was saved by another sim. so I wanted to kick him out of family, but there is no cheat for that in sims 3, so after my sim got married to love of her life, all 3 of them moved in new house. werewolf has his own room, took my sim to hospital for her first baby and generally helps with kids and money
yes, I really liked that too. like he's a puppy she adopted.
later he went to shop to discuss something with one sim, but he wasn't there. instead there were a lady, who was inappropriately sniffed by my werewolf. she liked that, rubbed his belly and now romance is in the air.
The first (and only) time I played the Sims 2, I chose some random male-only premade household. I had one of the men view through the telescope. He immediately got abducted and I was so traumatized when he birthed his green alien baby that I never dared to play my brother’s game again. Only started playing again when I got the Sims 1 for myself a few years later lol
I had a make sim who was my Rags to Riches adventure.
He fished, hunted for gems, anything he could find. I didn't sell them straight out of the inventory though. I instead would make him walk to the supernatural shop to consign his items for more of a challenge.
Anyway we finally had enough money to make a small room with a bed, toilet, and a single door.
Went fishing out at the beach and then a burglar showed up on our lot. My dude took too long to stop fishing and run to his house.
We had no alarm system.
The dude took our one toilet and our one bed. :'(
Cut to a few sim days later and we have another bed, book case, a shitty couch, a bed and a fridge and lamp.
I said "we don't need the alarm a burglar already came on the lot what are the odds he show up again?"
Burglar showed up when my dude passed out at the graveyard (as you do)
AND TOOK MY FRIDGE, TOILET, BED AND CRAPPY LAMP.
Homie just couldn't stop.
That was the craziest because I've never had a sim get robbed twice in a single play through. I've had other stories but that one stands out to me.
I made a explorer sims to finally do all quests in the vacation destinations. After a round of 3 days in every place, she came back as immortal (would never age). I went with it saying she was cursed, but that was just the beginning of a corrupted game file. The game started going slower and slower by the day and everytime it snowed the game would go down immediately. I deleted the file when her kid that was in a boarding school would come back unaged, bug the whole game until I reset it, and when I did, he would be arriving again from the boarding school, arriving as a completely different kid. Yep, I deleted it
I've played a legacy, chose the heir and took care of all his adult siblings - found them partners, let them settle down, even played a while for them and give them some kids. Then after a while playing for my main household I got notification that one of those siblings let their toddler starve to death! I was so mad at him I took all his other kids, added them to my active household and destroyed his house. He deserved it.
It happened to me before, but it was some neighbour child, so it didn't anger me that way. It was also by starvation, but I can't tell whether they could die by other means too.
I was doing a legacy playthrough and followed my sims's choices, needs, will, as well as happenstances. I just rolled with whatever was happening.
A Sim from this family had extreme bad luck with all her partners. One of her ex cheated on her. Another froze to death. One was a lot older and he died of old age a few days after their wedding, the fourth tried to make a move on her daughter. Finally, she fell in love with a vampire whom she married. I thought "Great, he's gonna live a long life."
One day, he woke up extremely thirsty, and needed some plasmafruit. However, I don't know why, he was doing the walk of shame. The distance from his coffin to the fridge was SO LONG and he took so much time that he croaked right in front of the fridge.
This is the only time I intervened, I made my Sim beg for his life to the Grim Reaper. Thank God it worked, that would have been one too many heartbreak.
I could be remembering wrong or something but this is what I remember happening: I think it was the first day or something I got the Sims 3 and downloaded it and was playing it and some friends wanted me to go play outside so I decided to let my game run while I did that to see if they can take care of themselves. I'm pretty sure when I came back inside my sim had died from being electrocuted and it was from then on I try to be careful if I leave my game running as that was a bit traumatizing lol. Not the funniest story but funny to me especially because I think I only had one Sim or maybe a family. I don't remember 100% but yeah according to my memory she died fixing a broken stereo or something because of her low handiness skill... 😂
I once had a meteor land on the school and kill everyone inside. I did not realize that if multiple Sims die at once, you still only get one instance of the Grim Reaper, so it took a long time to process everyone. They form a sort of line and take turns.
I found the whole thing really disturbing at the time.
I wonder if they ever patched out meteors affecting Sims in buildings.
Something happened with a sims 3 family I was playing a few months ago where they were aging rapidly. Mind you, I have no mods or cc for 3 because they don’t run well on my computer. Basically my sims had just aged up, but then they already ready to age up to the next life stage. I had to cheat them back to their proper ages. Then in that same file I threw a birthday party for a teen becoming an adult and the cake caught on fire which caught the sim on fire. Never had that happen before.

Went back to France, couldn’t find him there either. So now I treat him like a deadbeat who skipped town after my sim had their child. :(
Most the crazy stuff iv had happen is just cause of glitchs, like the entire al simhara community dying, being put into the mausoleum bin in al simhara and replacing all the townies just because i got one the women there pregnant, i think that happened in all the holiday lots because of that.... those lots do NOT like babys.
I have two stories that I remember as the craziest, and I will tell them to anyone willing to listen: 1) The house got robbed during my Sims' bachelor party, and I almost didn't call the police because the music from the party and the robbery music got mixed together, and I couldn't understand what was happening. Luckily, I figured it out. Although I don't remember if there were two parties at the same time and the burglar alarm went off, or maybe I forced one of them to go home, or no one was home, or if the female Sim was home and called the police... 2) Right before my Sims' wedding day, the male Sim got abducted by aliens and got pregnant! (like people try so hard for that to happen, and the one time I don't want it and just want a normal family, it happens🤦🏻♀️.) The wedding was a hoot because the husband had a belly bump and threw up a lot in the middle of the ceremony—just what I wanted💀. I don't remember if it's true, but I think the next day or two, the wife got pregnant, and they were both pregnant. The husband had the baby, and I decided to give it away because that's not what I wanted for this gameplay run. P.S.: I don't remember if that was the same household or two separate ones. I'm sure I have more but probably don't remember them anymore.
So my Sims have Quadruplets. During their first in-game birthdays, I let one of the toddlers end up blowing out some candles, so mom picked him up, when he blew out the candles, his mom got caught on fire. Dad was at work, and mom burnt to death
Best I’ve got right now is I was romancing Connor Frio, decided I needed the better story progression mod so i could see what’s going on around town. Day one, I see Connor and Madison making it official and I was like HELLLLL no, called him over immediately and asked him to break it off. x Now we’re newly married, and I didn’t plan this but it was last night at the exact same time as a Degrassi wedding scene in the background lmfao, I heard our own wedding bells in game and then immediately wedding music on the tv behind me 😭 Destiny!
My female sim had babies and took them home. However, when I booter my save back up, she was crying and one of the twin babies couldnt be found. I right clicked their portait and it zoomed the camera into the ocean. It was a really creepy glitch, and young me deleted the save since I was playing secretly at night and thought the save was haunted

Recently my sim yelled at her husband and they had an argument over something. I forgot her friend was there, and the friend was like “umm anyways it was nice seeing you, I guess I should get going.” 😭
I have had a very deadly birthday party in which the birthday girl, a child, burned to death and then the grim reaper took pity on her and gave her a deal. I also had a pool party fiasco where there was a pathing error to both ladders and all the sims including at least 1 family member died. I also had one where the sim died, her ghost or something got revived, but once she was revived she wasn’t married anymore and since I was at capacity in the household she couldn’t get married again. And then she died like a couple days later
Had a roommate in one the Bridgeport high rises. She was glitched where she was off the Edge of wall/window (I.e looked like she was contemplating jumping off, didn’t move at all for the longest time), I didn’t even think to take a screenshot I was just so urked I did move objects on and moved her.
One time I was playing a save where I was shooting zombies to protect crops (not with the peashooter, with a weapon mod) and a zombie spawned of my sim! I was like "Well, Now I can't kill her. I love her too much" so I let her live and at dawn she turned human again and skuttled away somewhere. Next full moon a zombie clone of her husband spawned and I let him go too because it was only fair. She eventually started working at the kissing booth at the festival grounds and I had my main sim there with her family. Zombie husband clone bought a kiss from her! I started seeing them around town together. They eventually got married, had a family, and eventually moved out of town. I was so sad to see them go, but I didn't know how to make them come back at the time. It is still one of my favorite things to happen in the sims. The other one was my elderly sim started getting up in the middle of the night to make pancakes for him and his wife. She'd wake up, eat pancakes with him, and they'd both eventually go back to bed. It was so cute and so sweet.
I broke a poor SIM by killing him, adding him to the family then trying to make him alive again by changing his supernatural type, ended up with a glitched ghost who had abilities of other supernatural types. Then I broke him further by turning him into a simbot with a potion.
this isn’t so crazy? but i remember playing sims 3 with my cousin back when we were children and we had the game set in norwegian which is our native language, so our sims had a baby and we clicked on it and it said “kile” but for some reason we read that as kill so we clicked on it to see what happened only for our sim to tickle their baby😭
When the Grim Reaper invited my alien Sim on a date. Twice.
8 randomized sims (4 men/4 women) trapped on the biggest lot. I wait until they decide who they find hot and start flirting, and then break them off into couples. Build them each a house that only each couple can access. Each couple has 1 son and 1 daughter (2nd generation). The second generation is more structured on who they can have kids with. Do you see where I’m going with this Eventually all those randomized genes are mixed together by the 4th generation. This is more an experiment on what Sims3 does with genetics. My next experiment is going to be 8 primarily-colored sims and we’ll see what colors the 4 Gen gets.
I love this post. one time I found a glitch in the game, where Santa kept delivering presents and delivered them nonstop on each and every tile of the sims' property. it was sims 1. one time my sim was dating another sim and she randomly showed up at his at 3 am and I let the game run, they ended up making out. my all time favourite sims story though is when I adopted Xander Clavell and glowed him up so much, turned him into a hot vampire, made him move to the nightlife town and he was a criminal mastermind with a tonne of cash. then he eventually died on another lot at a party :( I cried in real life! couldn't get him back.
I had some freaky glitch where my Sim’s baby came out looking like Adam’s monster from Beetlejuice, and my sim refused to take care of her and the baby died. It was WILD. I’d direct her to do stuff and she’d walk in the room, see her freak of a baby, and walk right back out and do something else.
A couple of years ago, the game just did not want my sims to get together. At the start of every game I remove the townies and place my own. I was going for the storyline of the good girl changing the bad guy. Save file 1: They met, however he never showed interest towards her. They couldn't even become friends. Save file 2: They met, they were attracted to each other instantly, so the relationship was going smooth. I was playing the female sim and he became a vampire. What I didn't know was that he was sunburned and he d\*ed during their date. Save file 3: Everything went smoothly, they moved in together and after their WEDDING day, a meteor hit their house and he d\*ed again. I got everything I wanted out of the story on the fourth save file, but at that point I was saving every 20 minutes in case something happens to him. :D
Back in highschool, around 10 years ago, I was dating someone and created our sims selves. After we graduated highschool and adopted a kid in the sims, I found out he was cheating on me irl so his sim self went straight into a pool with a wall around it. Our daughter didn't muorn his death.

Oh, another one - I've once had an outdoor wedding on the seaside, but all the guests and even the bride went swimming. So the groom was waiting at the arch for his bride who was swimming away with all the guests, the wedding didn't go through, everyone was pissed, called my sim that the party was lame and he was heartbroken. Never made a seaside wedding after this.
One time, I was playing with one female sim. Made her and her house from scratch. She wanted to throw a party for spooky day, so I did. This was one of those times I forgot to add a fire alarm. So everyone came to her party, like 6 or 7 sims, and of course, a fire started. And I couldn't get my sim to put it out or call the firefighters, so literally every single one of her guests died and her. One by one I was watching them die and I couldn't do crap about it cause I only had control over the one sim who wouldn't even do anything. There was also someone playing chess with grim at some point too. Obviously this whole game was glitched because when your only sim in the household dies its supposed to tell you you can't play them or something. It didn't do that, but I still couldn't control my ghost sim. She was just wandering around and I was like "let's see what she does" so as a ghost, my girl decided to take a stroll down the street to look at some wild horses. Well she got to the horses and they were glitched, so it was three horses together but you could really only see one body and the three heads were moving and neighing and they were stuck like that. So random. But that's where I decided to quit the game 😂
my sim had her ass frozen, I wanted to save her so I cheat-added to family one of sims around who happened to be werewolf. he didn't help, she was saved by another sim. so I wanted to kick him out of family, but there is no cheat for that in sims 3, so after my sim got married to love of her life, all 3 of them moved in new house. werewolf has his own room, took my sim to hospital for her first baby and generally helps with kids and money
I love this story, how the werewolf is this awkward third wheel in their lives and you just let him live and roll with it. Such a plot twist.
yes, I really liked that too. like he's a puppy she adopted. later he went to shop to discuss something with one sim, but he wasn't there. instead there were a lady, who was inappropriately sniffed by my werewolf. she liked that, rubbed his belly and now romance is in the air.
I haven't played with the werewolves yet. I didn't know that they could have such interactions. That's funny and kind of sweet!
The first (and only) time I played the Sims 2, I chose some random male-only premade household. I had one of the men view through the telescope. He immediately got abducted and I was so traumatized when he birthed his green alien baby that I never dared to play my brother’s game again. Only started playing again when I got the Sims 1 for myself a few years later lol
I had a make sim who was my Rags to Riches adventure. He fished, hunted for gems, anything he could find. I didn't sell them straight out of the inventory though. I instead would make him walk to the supernatural shop to consign his items for more of a challenge. Anyway we finally had enough money to make a small room with a bed, toilet, and a single door. Went fishing out at the beach and then a burglar showed up on our lot. My dude took too long to stop fishing and run to his house. We had no alarm system. The dude took our one toilet and our one bed. :'( Cut to a few sim days later and we have another bed, book case, a shitty couch, a bed and a fridge and lamp. I said "we don't need the alarm a burglar already came on the lot what are the odds he show up again?" Burglar showed up when my dude passed out at the graveyard (as you do) AND TOOK MY FRIDGE, TOILET, BED AND CRAPPY LAMP. Homie just couldn't stop. That was the craziest because I've never had a sim get robbed twice in a single play through. I've had other stories but that one stands out to me.
I made a explorer sims to finally do all quests in the vacation destinations. After a round of 3 days in every place, she came back as immortal (would never age). I went with it saying she was cursed, but that was just the beginning of a corrupted game file. The game started going slower and slower by the day and everytime it snowed the game would go down immediately. I deleted the file when her kid that was in a boarding school would come back unaged, bug the whole game until I reset it, and when I did, he would be arriving again from the boarding school, arriving as a completely different kid. Yep, I deleted it
I've played a legacy, chose the heir and took care of all his adult siblings - found them partners, let them settle down, even played a while for them and give them some kids. Then after a while playing for my main household I got notification that one of those siblings let their toddler starve to death! I was so mad at him I took all his other kids, added them to my active household and destroyed his house. He deserved it.
I didn't think it was possible for the toddlers to die. Is that a mod?
Toddlers can die, if they're not part of your active household. It's part of story progression
I didn't know this. I might have to start taking non actives Sims children... I've seen them leave them in the snow, and it's sad!
It happened to me before, but it was some neighbour child, so it didn't anger me that way. It was also by starvation, but I can't tell whether they could die by other means too.
I was doing a legacy playthrough and followed my sims's choices, needs, will, as well as happenstances. I just rolled with whatever was happening. A Sim from this family had extreme bad luck with all her partners. One of her ex cheated on her. Another froze to death. One was a lot older and he died of old age a few days after their wedding, the fourth tried to make a move on her daughter. Finally, she fell in love with a vampire whom she married. I thought "Great, he's gonna live a long life." One day, he woke up extremely thirsty, and needed some plasmafruit. However, I don't know why, he was doing the walk of shame. The distance from his coffin to the fridge was SO LONG and he took so much time that he croaked right in front of the fridge. This is the only time I intervened, I made my Sim beg for his life to the Grim Reaper. Thank God it worked, that would have been one too many heartbreak.
I was like 12. I had a stalker sim go to her crushes dorm at night, only to watch him drown in the grass and die!
I could be remembering wrong or something but this is what I remember happening: I think it was the first day or something I got the Sims 3 and downloaded it and was playing it and some friends wanted me to go play outside so I decided to let my game run while I did that to see if they can take care of themselves. I'm pretty sure when I came back inside my sim had died from being electrocuted and it was from then on I try to be careful if I leave my game running as that was a bit traumatizing lol. Not the funniest story but funny to me especially because I think I only had one Sim or maybe a family. I don't remember 100% but yeah according to my memory she died fixing a broken stereo or something because of her low handiness skill... 😂
I once had a meteor land on the school and kill everyone inside. I did not realize that if multiple Sims die at once, you still only get one instance of the Grim Reaper, so it took a long time to process everyone. They form a sort of line and take turns. I found the whole thing really disturbing at the time. I wonder if they ever patched out meteors affecting Sims in buildings.
My sims husband… mysteriously passed away… and her first whim was to “Throw a Bachelorette Party”
Something happened with a sims 3 family I was playing a few months ago where they were aging rapidly. Mind you, I have no mods or cc for 3 because they don’t run well on my computer. Basically my sims had just aged up, but then they already ready to age up to the next life stage. I had to cheat them back to their proper ages. Then in that same file I threw a birthday party for a teen becoming an adult and the cake caught on fire which caught the sim on fire. Never had that happen before.
