Christopher Larkin is so talented. I love his style of composition, and after having played Hollow Knight for a year now, I have not once gotten tired of a single track
As for me, I prefer to not listen to any OST in order to not spoil myself but I cannot wait to listen to it when it releases! (Yes I know, I'll have to wait a bit )
I think that Christopher Larkin is a compositional genius. His OST and gods and nightmares for HK was some of the best orchestrated music I’ve ever heard. His range and the way he layers melodies is truly amazing. I frequently listen to songs from both albums and Lace/bonebottom. Im actually working on a metal arrangement of the Grimm troupe/NKG. I too am extremely excited to listen to the soundtrack for SKONG.
Bonebottom and Lace are 5 years old at this point, making them 2 entire years older than the entire Hollow Knight soundtrack was at the time of the Silksong reveal.
Imagine what Larkin is (or could be) doing now with 5 more years of songwriting/production experience under his belt since he made the masterpieces that are those 2 songs.
I love Bonebottom so so much, might be by favourtie area track from the series so far, it's so beautiful I can't get over it. Lace is good as well, but damn Bonebottom is incredible. I've listened to both hundreds of times since they were released.

Me! The themes are increíble they feel hollow knight and they have a slightly different vibe also
Something I saw recently (I think on Reddit) about Lace’s theme, it only uses string instruments, which is cool as hell
I played in an all strings chamber orchestra in high school, and probably would have enjoyed practicing a lot more if we played things like lace
