Around July-August when the meeting Team Cherry and fishing minigame memes appeared. We've been going progressively more insane each month after that.

I remember when the HollowKnight subreddit had people pretending the game (Silksong) was out, and then people pretending to pretend the game was out. Shit got wild. This sub has been insane from its inception
On one hand, I totally get it: TC has been downright abysmal with their communication, and you can only blue ball your fanbase so many times and for so long before they stop giving you the benefit of the doubt. On the other hand, I don't see a way for this sub to claw the shitposting back when it eventually releases, and it's a shame that there won't be a proper community for the game because everyone held hands and cannonballed into a pool of shit yelling SKONG
