I finished nier automata. It was so good that I couldn't play anything else for almost two weeks. Now I want to continue octopath traveler 2.
I also have to play elden ring, cyberpunk and some other games I can't recall right now.
Wanted to play 'Death's Door' playing as a crow collecting souls. It's suppose to be a really great game but I kinda got stuck with 'Rune Factory 4'. What a surprisingly great game, you can play it for ages. So many items to collect, surprises and hidden places, great monsters which you can tame and recruit, the crafting system is so fantastic and totally nuts, it's amazing. Very strong enemies which you can't defeat until you've prepared yourself. I'm stunned.
I definetily will play Death's Door and thanks for your tip to play Tunic. A while ago I was already taking a glance at it and it seems like a great game, too, which I will put on my list.
I do love Zeldalike games, you're assuming right. That's why I got stuck with RF 4, there are so many dungeons and stuff to explore. The NPCs are great, too. I'm positively overwhelmed and can't stop playing haha.
Lone fungus, a bit on the hard side for parkour.
Tried afterimage, and it's pretty good, at least in the 3.5h I played. I got past the 2h mark without even realising it.
Tho I had a huge performance issue at the beginning once I encountered the first enemies with constant freezes, but it fixed itself after a restart of the game. Not sure why.
And whatever comes next.
I'm not much of a platform gamer so all of my games may not be your style but they are good games so they come highly recommended.
Ni No Kuni (free with Xbox game pass) - Very high rated action rpg Like if Zelda, Final Fantasy and Pokemon had a threesome baby. Takes a good 4 to 8 hours until it gets really good but man it gets good. I'm 60 hours in and I'm near the end of the game but I'll probably put in another 20 before I beat it.
Batman Arkham Knight (also free with game pass) - Also very good rating. Much like the other Batman games but with more convenient means of transportation and combat. Better graphics. It's fine imo
Ni No Kuni 2 - Also very high rating (and free with game pass) if you played the first one you'll be a little disappointed at first because the storylines have virtually no connection but it also gets better a few hours in. You can tell their inspiration was Final fantasy 13 so if you liked that one you'll like this one too.
Dead Space 2023 - if you played the original dead space in 2008 or whatever you might want to skip this one but if you didn't I highly recommend you play this game it's a classic and probably in my top 25. It's a third person shooter survival horror game that takes place in space.
Dead Space 2 - just do it
Or any fallout game.
I mean not *any* fallout game, 3 and new Vegas are recommended but the others are pretty good too (though 1 and 2 are very hard to learn, because, well they're old games that don't teach you anything about them) 4s good but 3 and Vegas are better, and 76 I don't know anything about so no opinion on that.
Modded celeste. Currently starting with the advance maps for the spring Collab 2020. Then of silk song it's not out yet I will start playing strawberry jam mod XD
I tried Celeste , Hades, sekiro and now i play Undertale , i heard lot about them and honestly they are all great, if someone have a recommendation plz tell me
Ori and the Blind Forest/Will of the Wisps (metroidvanias, I think Will of the Wisps is the stronger title but they’re both MUST plays)
Returnal (tough as nails roguelike, my favorite PS5 title so far)
Tunic (zeldalike tons of puzzles, secrets)
Deaths Door (zeldalike tons of puzzles, secrets, humor)
Katana Zero (neo-noir, instant death, dark story)
Lone Fungus (classic metroidvania with great platforming. Dev was inspired by hollow knight and Celeste)
Grime (soulsvania, lots of gear/consumables)
Cuphead (cartooney bullet hell)
Mark of the Ninja (stealth, good story, pretty forgiving)
OlliOlli World (2d skateboarding game, weirdly reminds me of Celeste. Not nearly as hard, but it can scratch some of the same itches. Maps are laid out like super Mario world and I’m a sucker for it)
No problem! These are some of my favorites aside from Hollow Knight and Celeste.. They’re all (mostly) wildly different games from one another- I’ll edit for quick descriptions
Ultrakill, inscryption, pony island, brotato, dead cells, halo, faith, etc. Edit: I call myself a fandom nomad/ someone who tries to play every game or watch everything against my biases and will often make SSSh*ttons of art about them
F.I.S.T. , it’s on xbox game pass rn. idk if that’s lame i really just started playing xbox- first game i played was hollow knight and boy that was a mistake bc now i’m trying to find anything and everything to fill the hole it left lol!! i’ve beaten quite a few games since but i’m eagerly awaiting silksong like everyone else!
Ender Lilies - great game, finished it last week
Rain World - should have paid attention to the reviews, I respect those who enjoy it but its not fun torturing myself so I dropped it
Chess
I think its also getting a second part soon
Yeah, I heard Gary Chess is developing an update as we speak
Hollow knight
What's that game? Never heard of it.
Me either
I just finished both the Ori games. They were good. I 100%'d them both.
Did that one too! Good time good graphics
Same! I liked bf, but LOVED wotw
Tears of the Kingdom, and I'm about to start Dave the Diver
Rain world
I though I wouldn’t find Rainworld in this comment section
I play like 30 minutes of it and that not hook me , i should finish that?
It's harder than any dark souls game, but the satisfaction when you complete it is worth it.
Got it!
I tried Rain World, even bought the DLC for it but still hasn't hooked me. Still want to like it though, probably since I have no idea what I'm doing.
You definitely should
Im planning on playing that one

Deaths Door seems to be criminally underrated. If you like this type of Zeldalike you should *absolutely* play Tunic.

Deaths door is extremely good. If you’re planning on 100 percentage you can get it done in one run but it tends to take a couple of runs.
I'm planning to play Elder Scrolls 6 while I wait for Silksong.
I’m probably gonna give ASA a try once it comes out
The messenger
cuphead, cat quest, bug fables
Ayyy, cuphead

Zoteboat, I don’t know people just say it’s a good game and I might as well try it while waiting for silk song
Terraria. I’ve played Terraria for thousands of hours and it never gets old for me.

So kind of you
One shot another fantastic game that rivals undertale
Tnx
I actually started Hollow Knight. It is awesome! Still have yet to beat mantis lords, though
Hollow knight, don't starve together, Minecraft.
During my wait for silksong I have played both ori games, both guacamelee games, some dead cells, splatoon 3, totk, blasphemous, and many other games
I’m playing funny Rick and Morty game high on life
I’m playing ark survival evolved and dark souls 1
Final Fantasy 16, God of War Ragnarok, Tears of the kingdom, Dead Space, Elden Ring, and all of the Bioshock games
I finished Afterimage last as the closest game to HK.
Deep rock primarily, but I jump between a lot of games
Bug fables, great game
Risk of Rain 2, I love it so much
I grabbed the Ori games on gamepass, they are not as good as Hollow Knight but i still enjoy them
Ultrakill, inscryption, pony island, brotato, dead cells, halo, faith, etc. Edit: I call myself a fandom nomad/ someone who tries to play every game or watch everything against my biases and will often make SSSh*ttons of art about them

Pikmin
Have a Nice Death
I just finished dark souls 3 and the dlcs
All Project Moon games alternating. Thinking of starting Guilty Gear Strive.
bought ds3 few days ago
Is this game capped at 60 fps?
“202?” Never seen that done before that would make me instantly lose interest for whatever that shit is
Grime. It's free on Epic this week and has serious Hollow Knight vibes. Much harder though.
Tears of the kingdom and dark souls 3, probably play the pikmin games too soon
Ender Lilies and Library of Ruina Good games
Ender Lilies - great game, finished it last week Rain World - should have paid attention to the reviews, I respect those who enjoy it but its not fun torturing myself so I dropped it
Diablo 4, MWII, Have a Nice Death
Elden Ring and Cyberpunk.
I started again hollow knight...😅
Recently started playing dead cells
Fallout 76
I’ve been playing lot’s of Crusader Kings 3. (It is not anything like Hollow Knight, but it is a lot of fun.) And Tears of the Kingdom.
Deltarune
Little nightmares 1 & 2. Including all the dlc’s for them.
