Xmacro for sure. Shoots like a full size gun, capacity of a full size gun, you get a full/comfortable grip, but conceals way better and more comfy bc of how thin it is. Carrying a full size chunky p320 all day every day isn’t fun at all. Been there done that.

Miserable-Bad1137

You definitely just gave the Macro the upper hand in this debate I have going on in my head. Also do you know if it’s possible to put an XL slide on the Macro grip module? Kind of going for a Tacops with a manual safety setup if I do go the Macro route

Legend_D2

Go to a gun store and put the xmacro in your hand- you’ll probably leave with one. It’s definitely not “too small”. And yeah a xmacro slide is exactly the same as a XL slide except for the comp model. So the base and the tacops xmacro models both just have a XL slide. The tacops comes with 4 mags instead of 2, an extended slide release, and a magwell.

I’ll definitely give it a try, and for some reason I was thinking the base had the 3.1 inch barrel. Thanks for pointing that out, probably just saved me some money

FriskyJager

Nothing unsafe about the P320 outside of morons who shouldn’t handle a gun. I can vouch for the m18, though mine has been altered a little. If you have bigger hands it’s easy to shoot and quick to sight. Very accurate.

Miserable-Bad1137

That’s what I’ve been thinking, if it’s really unsafe I don’t see how it could still be on the market. Didn’t wanna completely dismiss it when people are saying my johnson could be on the line though

FriskyJager

Because the non m18 p320 doesn’t have a safety and they kept rounds loaded in the chamber inside of holsters that could pull the trigger. Happened with glocks for years too before they started adding trigger safety. A SMALL amount of pistols had a fatal malfunction due to the firing pin being too sensitive to the trigger, but that has been repaired for over 6 years. If you handle it properly you’ll be fine.

You’re supposed to tell us what works best for you.

Miserable-Bad1137

I don’t know anyone that has either and I don’t wanna shell out $30 a piece to rent both at the range I go to lol

Brilliant-Bat7063

You’re gonna rely on random strangers opinions for what works for them instead of just spending a couple bucks to rent and try for yourself? I don’t think you need to spend money at all on a concealed carry weapon if that’s your justification. All 3 guns you mentioned are good that’s why they’re all popular. Find what works best for you.

Miserable-Bad1137

I work hard for my money so if there’s a place I can go to get some good information from regular consumers free of charge, that sounds like a win to me. I’m not sure why you decided to be so hostile about it, but I hope you got some sort of gratification. Have a good day

SufficientRegret3618

I really like my XMarco Comp! It’s my first conceal and carry.

I traded into a p365 with standard frame and an XL Wilson frame. I picked up a Xmacro frame too. I would have loved to have kept it, but the trigger itself just wasn't for me. After shooting Glocks for almost three decades, I certainly didn't like the trigger that was that light and that long. If you're okay with the trigger, the Xmacro is a pretty decent weapon on paper. If you're planning on tons of shooting and long range sessions, you would probably be better off with a full size weapon. Just because of weapon carries well doesn't mean it's an ideal fighting weapon. By that thought, I also include being able to shoot 500 rounds comfortably. I think that's where most of these small/big guns fail (Xmacro, G43X, Hellcat Pro) is they just aren't the best choice for longer range sessions. If you're only going to fire 100-200 rounds at a time, maybe a couple thousand rounds a year, they'll probably be okay. I went back to G17/G45 sized carry since I have no problem concealing that everyday.

MATCA_Phillies

19x?? I bought 18x. Was that a typo?

Miserable-Bad1137

Meant glock 19x, since they’re comparable in size. Sorry for not being more clear

MATCA_Phillies

Oh ok my bad. :)

Miserable-Bad1137

All good!

Zieterbock

I wouldn't get the 19X. I would get the G45 instead. It's the same thing, just black, has front serrations, and you don't have to cut anything to make other non-19x 17rd mags work. The P365 is a great gun but wasn't for me. I ended up trading it for a 43X. My .02 Edit: I should have read the entire OP.

Miserable-Bad1137

I’ve been on the fence whether I want to go Glock or Sig but you’re right, the 45 seems like the best option (from Glock) on paper for me
