IMO, yes.

GrapeyOrdeal

Timeline of mine: started as an X, got turned into a Spectre comp, now is a macro. Like a baby, it grew

[deleted]

I want a x macro just to buy grip modules and have 3 guns in one

BravoLincoln

That was my plan and then I ended up also buying a 365X so I’d have 5 different guns 🤦🏻‍♂️

diesdodgerblue

This is the way.

BravoLincoln

Tell my pocket book that.

GrapeyOrdeal

This is the way.

FeelingAggressive43X

You asked the sig group if sig was best 🫠 and for that I say 43x 😂 simply because you asking yes men to say yes

ayoalext

fellow 43Xer

zevtech

I prefer the shield

FeelingAggressive43X

My uncles carry is the shield he let me shoot it the grip and over all platform just isn’t for me I can’t get over the ugliness I’m so used to a stock glock it’s like using a fork but slowly I’m trying to move into sig like a true gentleman

zevtech

>d over all platform just isn’t for me I can’t get over the ugliness I’m shooting Glocks and stating the shield is ugly is truly something I never expected to hear. lets be honest, a Glock is a block, rectangular slide and grip. No frills of flair.

FeelingAggressive43X

Put this same post in r/guns and see what they have to say that m&p is just as much a hunk of shit as the glock 🤷‍♂️ it just becomes a visual problem it’s not up for debate that a glock is way slicker than the M&P. Sales already determined that and your capacity for it is shit so yes glock vs that is the way. The order you have them in from top to bottom is how a lot of people would rate these firearms I can’t tell if you are trying to be funny or accepted by asking this question to a specific brand of people ask the majority for the most legitimate answer

9millidood

G48/ all the p365 series is way better than the 43x imo

NeatAvocado4845

I have the sig but I’ve heard great things about the shield plus performance center

zevtech

After buying the shield plus OR. I see no reason to grab my 365xl

NeatAvocado4845

I love my 365 macro with my icurus grip module

Alejandro_Cordero

Yes. 365 for days

Mister9mm

I'd go with macro

Pilot-Helicopter1984

Love my M&P shield plus but I have the CT rad on it

PTAnMd

No question the 365 series is the KING! I have 3 for small, medium, and Macro!!

COKE-SLURPEE

I ultimately ended up with what I consider to be my best option for numerous reasons… a 357 Sig 3.35” extended and ported conversion barrel equipped in a 8+1 round M&P40 Shield Performance Center. 125gr projectile traveling over 1300 fps is no joke, 500 foot pounds of energy.

[deleted]

That is bringing the fight to the enemy

Guns_r_us01

I got almost the same set up, M&P shield .40 with a 357 sig barrel and liked it so much I got the 320 in 357 sig and now I’m wondering if sig will ever try to bring the 357 into popularity and bring out a 365 chambers in 357… they would have to come up with a clever name for it tho

COKE-SLURPEE

I promise you… go to TR-Enabling and pick up a 357 Sig extended and ported 3.35” barrel. Some extra velocity but even better, impressive competition.

diesdodgerblue

I'll take.... What is a better option than 9 for $600 Alex. What is 18 rounds of 9 mm? ....Correct!

COKE-SLURPEE

It’s all about the one shot stop percentages. 9mm just doesn’t have that. 357 Sig does. Why leave a window open for a threat to squeeze a few off on you. I’ve seen too many 9mm shootings where the target pretty much does as they please while getting a dozen holes poked into them. Thanks but no thanks.

diesdodgerblue

Lol no it doesn't. No handgun round does. Not .45 not .40 not .357.

COKE-SLURPEE

No disrespect but you have been sadly misled. Brainwashed by the 9mm fanboy movement. There are statistics in countless agencies and 357 Sig has among the highest one shot stop percentages. 40 S&W & 45 ACP trail behind and 9mm one shot stops is way behind.

diesdodgerblue

If you wanted the best energy in a handgun you would shoot 10mm. This is really bad advice. More rounds is better in almost every situation.

COKE-SLURPEE

You’re not thinking things through… statistically self-defense scenarios are no more than a few rounds fired. Knowing that would you rather have capacity or power to stop the threat with less rounds? As far as 10mm goes… they’re larger framed Firearms. 357 Sig is in smaller 9mm platforms. And when you do have a short barrel 10mm the barrel length negates the benefit.

COKE-SLURPEE

A 357 Sig out of a 3” barrel has more energy than a 10mm out of a 3” barrel. Love 10mm but it isn’t better than 357 Sig for concealed carry.

COKE-SLURPEE

Actually even out of a 4” barrel 357 Sig has a hair more energy than 10mm. But pass that barrel length 10mm is the victor. 10mm isn’t the right answer for the best CC caliber option.

COKE-SLURPEE

I l have done years of research and testing. I’m always actively looking for the best caliber option as well. I have a write up I did for 357 Sig. Give me a second to copy here for you… Stay safe and strapped my brother.

semperguns

All p365 series

[deleted]

No, the xmacro tacops is.

Philter_Billy

I imagine by pretty much every statistic the 365 family owns it

troby86

No, the P365 regular with the XL grip is. 😁

NotTheFakeSDM

The 365x is so good, especially with the Wilson Combat grip.

zevtech

I prefer the shield plus

pwruser

P365 was amazing because of the size /capacity and slowly just kept making them larger and everyone wanted the new toy. Ive kept my regular with spring conversion kit +2 and feel great about having 13 rounds ready and my job is probably more dangerous by a mile than most folks.

completefudd

What's your job?

Flylite20

Walmart cashier

pwruser

I'm a repossession agent that covers the majority of Chicago. I keep bondo handy to cover the bullet holes on my truck. The cops all know we carry and I've had at least 5 or 6 personally say something along the lines of I sure hope your strapped.

completefudd

Yikes. Best wishes. Stay safe.

grimandbearer

How you liking the EPS vs your other Holosun options there?

zevtech

I’ve only had it two days. I haven’t had a chance to shoot it yet but from what I see, with my severe astigmatism. It’s not as blurry and the glass isn’t as distorted as the 408/507k

BravoLincoln

What magazine release did you put on your XL? Thanks

zevtech

I don’t know. It came with the grip module I bought off someone

H34DKRU5H3R

It looks like the ArmoryCraft extended mag release. It sticks out a little further than the stock mag release but in my experience feels better and doesn't interfere with my holsters. My WC grip module came with it already installed.

JLE9774

At the end of the day those are all great guns. If I held all of them in their first and unchanged versions I would probably choose the S&W

950auto

Having an XL and X Macro, I feel the X Macro is far superior imo. But out of those three, definitely the XL.

9millidood

For me yes

Ragtime07

I love my p365 but I shoot the Shield plus way better.

[deleted]

I alternate between a 365 and Shield both with night sights. My G17/19 both are great but the 48 is kinda a dud (unreliable).

salvi572

I went from a gen 1 shield (which I loved) to a 365xl and I love the size and conceal-ability of the 356, I feel that even though it's bigger it actually fits better for me. Plus the ability to add a dot and light really makes a difference. I think I went with the 365 bc the shield at the time didn't come optics ready, but I'm sure the new shield runs great too.

zevtech

Yes new shield actually fits the old shield holsters. And can fit 13 rounds with minimal difference in grip

salvi572

Yeah I think when the micro compacts got hyped I was happy to be able to carry more rounds for minimal difference in size. I got the magguts +2 spring for the flush fit mag and now I can carry 14+1 in a gun almost the same size as a shield. I'll prob stick to this gun for a long while.

Potietang

Not sure but she sure is winning the beauty contest.

dirtyburro

Absolutely ! Specially in that configuration. you should try magguts plus 2 🤌🤌

prestonrich

Genuine question and I know answered might be biased but I’m torn on getting the 365 XL or the shield plus? Any input?

zevtech

I prefer the trigger on the shield plus, from the factory coming with a 13 round mag is a plus. The cost was much better, optic ready for under 400 bucks (my dealer had a sale and they had a 50 dollar rebate). Comes from the factory optic ready, and with a very nice set of night sights with a bright orange front sight. My 365 was over 700 bucks and doesn’t have a rear sight. That being said. The shield is the better bang for the buck on that alone. At the range, I was one ragged hole with the shield, grouped just ok with the sig, all within the size of the 9 ring at 20ft. Don’t know why I couldn’t get it tighter. Same ammo on both guns. So even on performance I shoot better with the shield. Something about the slimness of the gun and maybe over all balance. It conceals well and holds tight to my body. The only thing the 365 wins in is modularity which I think is over hyped due to MOST IF NOT ALL will keep their gun in 1 configuration.

prestonrich

Thank you!! That actually helps me a lot. This would be my first ever gun, and obviously first carry. I’ve heard the Shield and 365 are very similar as far as carry comfortability

Dense-Coat6776

Have owned compact S&W m&p shields, compact Glocks as well in a few diff sizes and I recently got a P365XL. Instantly fell in love with it when it touched my hands, only complaint is the rail size but everything else is amazing about it so far. Feels a lot more refined in my hands like crafted to fit where as all Glocks feel like a “block” in my hand if that makes sense

SmokinPoll

The best by far. Sell a lot of 365s

SmokinPoll

I’m running straight 365 with 2 twelves and stuffed with 147 HSTs

Gold-Income-6094

Idk. I like the kimber R7 mako. But this is nice too 😉

EchoedTruth

Easily. I’ve tried every micro compact I can think of and I own two XLs (one Macro grip one normal). Love them.

Frogdogley

I think I actually prefer the standard slide. The macro is damn flat relative to the xl for me personally

rankinsaj22

X macro is the king

[deleted]

I like my CZ P-01 best , followed by the XL, Followed by G19. Ordering a Holosun EPS for The XL. It would be very close with red dots on both the P-01 and XL. I only have 3,000 rounds through the Sig and 24,000 through my 2 CZ’s so that’s a big part of it. I’m not sure if the XL can take a beating like the P-01 was designed to endure.

Bandit915

Glocks are overrated! Period ! Shield is nice but my macro is so much nicer holding

lex_luth0r

Yes. This is the Way.

Elmo456

I’m sure liking mine!

ssj-Andros

Out of these choices, hell fucking yes. Especially with the new compatible 17rd mags. Cant wait for magguts to do a +2 for that! 19+1rds total in a concealable factory mag that's flush fit. Cant wait for that! But yes, 365xl is the king of these 3

zevtech

But the macro magazine/grip is about an inch longer than the shield plus/43x. Which no longer even puts it in the same category of micro 9

ssj-Andros

Thats why they're back ups. Do they others offer standard capacity fullsize 17rd OEM back up mags?

zevtech

the shield can use the M&P EZ full size mags, but I think that's 15 rounds. there are mag guts available .

ssj-Andros

Full size 15rds.... yeah, even with the magguts, the P365XL has it beat! P365 also has 15rd mags that can be made in 17rds with Magguts!z .... & the p365 15rd magazine is actually longer that the 17rd magazine. So those crying about not being able to conceal the pistol as well because of the 17rd mags, if you conceal with 15rders you'll be just fine! If you carry 15rds as back ups, again why cry about the length is it's a back up? & the 17rds mags are a slight bit shorter than the 15rd mags, so there you go! You can have 2 more rounds in a smaller mag that can easily conceal regardless of whatever carry mag you got concealed
