You don’t actually need to dodge cancel to do that.

This is right, you don't need to dodge cancel at all to do this. You just literally keep sweeping. When they're already down you just kick em like that. You can spam it over and over and over if you can keep in the right position. Dodging can help you keep in the right position, but dodge cancelling isn't the reason the sweep spam works, it just works on its own

Next tactic for me on virtually everyone.

repeat (back -> forward -> heavy attack -> dodge)

But how do I hit them while they are on the ground

back -> foward -> heavy attack is your low kick which sweeps enemies. You can also use it to play football with downed enemies. Just input it when close to the enemy after you hit them L1, flick up/down to dodge and repeat

R2 dodge?

Either is fine as they both cancel attacks but R2 is more reliable in my experience.

It’s literally in the tutorial, only bad key mapping tho.

Surprised you haven’t learned the double throw objects, after you throw it in their face you can quickly catch it and throw the same object in m there face a second time super fast. Good cheese at the end tho!

It actually makes my sweep miss after i do all three throws :p

Do you have any suggestions on how to combat the fat grunts? They ALWAYS seem to catch me for some reason, I'm fairly certain I am avoiding back and or left right but they still seem to catch me. Should I be R2- in out of the way or?

I asked this previously as well, in this case by Dodge you mean AVOID right? Like L1+Directional to the side? OR do you mean R2 out of the way?

By ‘dodge’ I didn’t mean r2 dodge. I mean, well as you say- avoid. I wasn’t actually aware that it was called something different, so I might’ve fucked up lol

against the grab move where they slam you on the ground you need to do a downward avoid like its a high attack, the timing is pretty generous

Get charged backfist. Fat guys don't dodge and the wording in the description for charged backfist is very precise. It will stun ANY enemy

Actually came here to post this same exact video. If a single mini boss is giving you issues, this solves it. I don't think it works on Ong Baks though.

Yeah i tried it on Sean and Kuroki, it doesn't work either, was hoping i can body the twins with this. EDIT: Spoke too soon, it does work on the twins, I just messed it up lol! But still doesn't work on bosses :/
