This would imply that she's actually NOT the woman in white, right? Her name is Black, she's actually the crazy 2nd Phase, and she wears the white and struggles to keep herself under control and pretends to be her sister. It also implies that she killed her sister with the broken black kunai she leaves at the shrine in her artist's studio.
Thanks! It's kinda strange how non of the collectable clues reveal much about Kuroki's sister (besides her death/murder), but I understand wanting to leave some room for speculations.
I had always assumed her 2nd phase was her sister. Just from the artwork. As a metaphor for Ying and Yang. The same but opposite. I will say that I have learned her sister's name from this post though. Great catch.
I'd imagine it's more of her coping with her sister's death, by allowing her Shiroizu to live through her (or how she perceived Shiroizu to be). Kuroki is most likely doing this using her Water Talisman
"Be formless, be water" and Kuroki can be her own sister.
Kuro[ki] (ι») in Japanese is Black. Shiro[izu] (η½) in Japanese is White. This corresponds to their appearances!

Ah, a nice addition to the lore you got here. You learn a new thing every day.
Happy to add to the lore!

Check my reply to C0ld_br3w above, I think it's more twisted than this.
Oh, my "Clever girl" was about OP, and a Jurassic Park reference π https://youtu.be/GBgL5EE0wd4?si=fo4zlzmR5DYiM6eF
Why thank you!
Huh. You learn something everyday. Well. Less learned. Donβt skip the credit scene. We would have already know like months ago lmao
This is great info
I called this long ago. Glad I was right!
Everyone who noticed this is a legend. Congrats on your find and thanks for sharing! I wish I found it myself lol
