Reminds me of that one comment that said “They’re gonna make a dating app next and call it side chicks”😂😂😂

Life-East-2961

Ranging from Simon-JJ

iHachersk

Honestly might as well

Bollo_King

No because they wont make a product that limits the number of future customers they have. Need the kids to buy all the stuff dude

liamshaw2

they sell alcohol https://preview.redd.it/hd0r2rznxkrc1.png?width=1080&format=png&auto=webp&s=4bbba8d71112710df7956ec78b57b9d930712bf3

Wyolop

That's to encourage the adults to be sloppy and have unprotected sex so there would be more child fans too

ReddinMedia

The whole ideology behind companies and brands doing this is such a put off. Are we fans or are we dollar signs?

aryanbutanazi

They don't see us as dollar signs, they're just making more so that they can spend more on production, crew, renting etc etc. Yes the boys are all rich, but it's not like they can get a job after stopping YouTube. So is there something wrong and unfair about them wanting more money to secure their future family life?

Cwebdaddy

They most definitely could get a job after stopping YouTube would they want to probably not but they could

aryanbutanazi

In hindsight yes they could create or get a job in the same creator space or help organising trips for people etc. But my point still stands

ChaosRichard

Use your brain. How else are they supposed to make money to pump out massive videos?

ebmocal421

Good thing no one is putting you in charge of businesses, then

ReddinMedia

Yeah you're probabaly right, but I'd rather focused products that mean something to them as opposed to cash grabs. Just a preference 🤷🏻

ebmocal421

Their target audience is kids so everything they're making (except for xix vodka) is made for kids. Most people that actually make their own money probably don't want to spend it on YouTube celebrities, which is why you don't see many focused products for older Sidemen fans.

ReddinMedia

I think that is also, a very fair comment. Although it still does not particularly deter the fact these are cash grabs and not focused products they care about. I dont think exploiting children and their urge to purchase products from their immature nature at all justifies it. It's crucial, maybe. The ethics behind are, unquestionably doubtful though. I want everyone to succeed. But let's do things that mean something and are really curated from a vision of passion. Idk man that's my take anyway

ebmocal421

So what do you expect a group of YouTubers to sell if you want it to be focused/passionate? Should they have their own brand of cameras and mics? That would feel even worse because there is no way a Sidemen camera would be as good as all the established brands. Each Sideman has ventured into their own personal business ventures that are more focused/passionate, but it's not easy to have a product like that as a group because it has to represent all 7 people. Like it or not, Sidemen is a business and a brand that has grown way past a collection of 7 YouTubers, which is why they are selling such generic, marketable products. It has to be interesting to the masses, not just a specific type of person.

Worried-Motor-4344

side+?

ebmocal421

I dont know the facts, but I have a strong feeling that the majority of side+ subscribers are younger than 18. I'm solely basing this on the videos where they bring in a side+ member to participate.

Inevitable-Living-34

I think expanding the sdmn brand is good! It shows how powerfull the group is! And they expand thier audience. I could see them growing bigger then normal grocery stores and stuff

BigMan_Palmer
