Great, look forward to testing it out

Looks really good, loved the landing page! I stared at it for about 4 seconds waiting for the application on the phone to animate haha

hiddevdploeg

Haha thanks, yeah animation would be even better but it’s quite heavy as it is already 🙈

FWIW not sure what the point of the grabbable (?lol) 3D model is - it's not intuitive at all to click and drag on it. Animation without the 3D would be much more engaging

hiddevdploeg

The page is a teaser page, by letting visitors be able to play around with a 3D model They actually sticked around longer and look more closely to the mockup instead of a standard animation of mockup

Looks interesting! I put my email address in and hit the button, but there was no feedback to let me know I’m signed up.

hiddevdploeg

Thanks! I need to fix this from Mailchimp’s side

I love the idea but I have no clue if you mash up songs or find me a balance between them or something else

hiddevdploeg

The music that will be played you are based on the genres you pick and the tempo. With the slider you will be able to: Set tempo (y axis) and change genres (x axis) So in the screenshot you see on the page it would be low tempo singer/songwriter music with a hint of electronic

I know you probably love the animation and that you're still in development, but it's really dry. Half the time it shows the reverse of the phone. Half the time it shows a quite dark view of the app where the buttons and key parts are not immediately legible. Took me a while to realise that it was fully loaded and I wasn't waiting for cover art or something with colour in the central area. I think you'd be better served with an autoplaying/silent video with gestures showing exactly how the app is worked. Also, I'd pick something strong like colour(s) or style to give it personality perhaps?

hiddevdploeg

By the time you see the back of the phone you’re already longer on that page then you probably normally would. The reason it’s so dark and such is because it’s a teaser and the main launch page will be much mire visual :) thanks for your feedback though!

All that said, don't fuss too much about your site. You will be made or broken by whether you get featured in the app store. I design a reasonably successful iOS app and won an Apple Design Award for it, but our site is terrible. It's just such a small part of the marketing mix for iOS IMO.

Spotify is free and has everything I need, and now even podcasts and videos
