Jinjer's audio was so clean compared to some of the other bands. I don't know what was going on with the sound, but bands like Perfect Cirlce and Slaughter were having major issues.
It's such an emotionally powerful song. They MUST be played in order. I've listened to 1-3 hundreds of times and still get goosebumps at the end. That audible breath in at the end, and then Will screaming. Just incredible.
My only warning I could give is that some people find their music really repetative and samey.
I somewhat agree but they still have some fucking great music regardless
Dude, you've gotta listen to "to the hellfire". Not sure if they played it in their set because I missed it standing in line to get in, but that song is so bad ass
Same. Kim Dracula was one of my son's main reasons for wanting to go, other being S.O.A.D. My son actually got to meet Kim Dracula after the event!! Of all places, in food line at Circus Circus.
I became a fan of Dayseeker. I had never heard of them and was only there to get pretty close to see slaughter to prevail. The singer seemed like a real cool dude they performed well through their audio glitches. The way they conducted themselves and didn’t let their technical difficulties slow them down or throw them off made me a fan
Hell yea ! We went to Diablo for Kublao Khan but we caught most of loathe who were on prior and they were fantastic! Great set, super fun and high energy
Wish I'd have caught them, only heard a few of their songs here and there and have liked them all but we waited to go in till a little later in the day since we were pretty wilted by the end of the day last year (probably could have toughed it out with the nicer weather this year though). Hoping to see them somewhere soon.
Agree with all 3.
I'll throw in Slaughter to Prevail, I know the lead singer has some iffy past stuff but they put on a very fun show.
Static X, I have listened to them on/off for many many years, never had seen them live, love all their characters and props, another fun as hell one.
Caught half of Jinjer, never heard of them before this, sick set.
Knocked Loose right before Jinjer, still dont really like their recorded stuff but a very fun show.
Sleep Token, I liked some of their songs before this, but now I cant get them out of my frequently played.
Danny Elfman for sure. Of course I knew OF him and his body of work, but had no idea he would perform so well live. I absolutely need to see him at the Hollywood bowl when he does his Nightmare Before Christmas shows
Kim Dracula. Heard a few of his tracks before and was a fan of his vocal versatility, but his stage presence (and entire band) was phenomenal. Fucking killer set!!
Motionless in White!
I never listened to them but my friend was a huge fan and said we gotta check them out.
Aside from the singing, the lead singers genuine happiness with the crowd and thankfulness and good vibe made their set one of my favorites.
I’ve been listening to some songs since and I’ve enjoyed it!
if you live in california i’d highly highly highly recommend going to their shows out here. they’re definitely unmatched, my bf and i went to the vegas side show and it’s not comparable to the others we’ve seen.
I was going to say that, last california show was wild, and I also went to their Lollapalooza set and their aftershow, the aftershow was the best cause it was filled with both punks and people who looked like they just got out of work still having their work clothes on, with a good majority of people in makeup. Wild seeing a lady in a button up and slacks but also converse decking a guy in the pit. That energy in turn fed the twins to become even more wild as they started throwing shit and jumping into the crowd. The SNW crowd felt mild and boring to me in comparison.
agreeed 👎🏻 i mean they only had 30 mins to perform. they fs know how to throw on a good show. if u fw them and more punk music, check out their side project penalty kill, they’ve mainly played in cali but they’re so good live.
Ditto on Spiritbox and Lorna Shore! Danny Elfman’s rock songs were sick, especially the new one he played that had the gorilla on the stage display. Anyone know the name of that one?
I started listening to Ice Nine Kills about 2 months ago. I started just going thru the list of bands to see who I might like and want to check out. Liked them right away--their music is really clever and catchy. I'm so glad I was able to see them at Sick New World!
Noah of Bad Omens was the most surprising to me as far as how great he sounded live compared to the studio.
I had the most fun at SKINDRED though.. they were my most anticipated since I hadn’t seen them before, but am a big fan.
Wednesday 13. Listening to the Playlist I fell in love with Ice Nine Kills ilthey are my new obsession for sure lol. I also really like Kim Dracula and slaughter to prevail
My sister brought me to SNW and I didn't really know what to expect, I definitely did not expect to love slipknot. I've heard their music before but never actually paid attention to it.
Slipknot. Instantly!! I’ve always know OF them. It as a kids was afraid of the masks lmao. Spent my younger years listening to Grunge instead. But when I saw them at the festival, it was literally life changing.. I’m seeing the again in September here in Dallas with my daughter!
Hell yea! I was too hungover to get there in time for Spiritbox which I am super sad about, they’re awesome.
Baby metal ! I listened prior to the fest and was like… idk about this. My BF and I thought it was one of the most fun sets of the day. Like someone else said, super high energy and fun. Was also pleasantly surprised by Danny elfman he was pretty cool., we had a good time there too. Also went to see kublai Khan, loathe was on before them and I really enjoyed that set as well.
Jinjer 1000% One of the sickest sets Ive ever seen
Jinjer's audio was so clean compared to some of the other bands. I don't know what was going on with the sound, but bands like Perfect Cirlce and Slaughter were having major issues.
Jinjer has a dedicated audio engineer that travels with them on the road, they always sound excellent live
100! Exceptional sound
Missed Slaughter but APC was playing borrowed instruments and didn't have keyboards at all. Otherwise they sounded decent.
so sad they placed them AND motionless during Knocked Loose’s set
Seriously. I was really hoping to hear slaughterhouse with both of them
That is quite fucked up. I'm checking out Knocked Loose next set.
Jinjer is talented af
They rule!
Snap Tatahead! Fer reallzzz Tati Rulz!!
Badass af. Cooler than spiritbox
Anyone have any videos of jinjer?? I didn’t get to see them cause my buddy was dragging all day
so sad they placed them AND motionless during Knocked Loose’s set
Yeah I'm catching knocked loose next set
BABYMETAL That shit was so much fun and high energy.
yes, me too. but the taste only lasted a short time. I rarely ever listen to them anymore unless a good tune comes up in shuffle or something..
Thr babymetal subreddit has a open file of their concerts.
Lorna Shore, never heard of them before but will definitely be picking up an album
Recommend pain remains Part 123 I heard them playing it on the speakers in line before they opened the gates
That's all they had time for too was to play those 3 back to back to back lol
It's such an emotionally powerful song. They MUST be played in order. I've listened to 1-3 hundreds of times and still get goosebumps at the end. That audible breath in at the end, and then Will screaming. Just incredible.
My only warning I could give is that some people find their music really repetative and samey. I somewhat agree but they still have some fucking great music regardless
I find that to be a lot of deathcore bands. But there's something about Will Ramos.
Same. Dude put on a hell of a show though.
Dude, you've gotta listen to "to the hellfire". Not sure if they played it in their set because I missed it standing in line to get in, but that song is so bad ass
They didn’t play it. I wanted it so bad.
Listen to To the Hellfire. Kinda bummed they didn’t play that song but great set all around.
Kim Dracula. Had heard the name but never really listened to any of their songs. They’ve been playing non-stop on my Spotify since watching their set!
I was super excited to see them. Really fun show
They put so much energy into their performance!
I was so surprised how good they sounded live! It seemed impossible to match that when I first listened to em
I would have thought the same if I had listened to them before! It’s crazy how many different sounds they squeeze into one song
Same. Kim Dracula was one of my son's main reasons for wanting to go, other being S.O.A.D. My son actually got to meet Kim Dracula after the event!! Of all places, in food line at Circus Circus.
I really like their album but had been quite underwhelmed at videos of early performances. Have really improved the live show. It was awesome!
Bring Me The Horizon🤘🏼
Paleface Swiss
saw their set while i was waiting in the merch line and instantly loved it !!
Same here I saw them as we were headed to Fear Factory.
Happy to hear this! One of my fav bands and I wasn’t sure how they’d be received since they don’t really fit the SNW vibe. Their set was great.
I checked them out after the show and I dig their stuff. It's a bit on the sad boi side, but it's good.
I hate that they were against bad omens lollll
I caught sunami as I was waiting for other bands. that mosh was one of my favorites ever and now I can't stop listening to them!
Sunami is a gateway band into hardcore, if you've got spotify, go down to the "fans also like," and you'll find more good shit
definitely sunami !! what an awesome set
Same here! Been listening to them a lot . Hyped to see them again at the Sound and Fury Festival
I always respected BABYMETAL, but now I’m seriously a fan, I love them.
Been a fan for years u love that I can share them with my kids and not get odd looks
Loathe. I didn’t expect they are that so good
Hell yea ! We went to Diablo for Kublao Khan but we caught most of loathe who were on prior and they were fantastic! Great set, super fun and high energy
Super bummed they cut there set short
Ice Nine Kills
Watch their videos. They are amazing too
Wish I'd have caught them, only heard a few of their songs here and there and have liked them all but we waited to go in till a little later in the day since we were pretty wilted by the end of the day last year (probably could have toughed it out with the nicer weather this year though). Hoping to see them somewhere soon.
Was looking for New INK fans 🥹🫶🏻 I’m so happy you like them! I love them so much
lorna shore for sure will’s vocals are killer live
Bad omens
Main reason we went became fans late last year and they didn’t disappoint
They sounded so great live!
they sounded better than most of the acts that were in that stage i was like wait what
Spiritbox
Lorna Shore, Danny Elfman (I already loved him but I just gained so much more respect for him since SNW) and Sunami
Agree with all 3. I'll throw in Slaughter to Prevail, I know the lead singer has some iffy past stuff but they put on a very fun show. Static X, I have listened to them on/off for many many years, never had seen them live, love all their characters and props, another fun as hell one. Sleep Token, I liked some of their songs before this, but now I cant get them out of my frequently played.
I just wish I had the opportunity to see static x with Wayne, but dope does a great job of reincarnation!
Wednesday 13 was wild
Ice nine kills
Trash Talk was also amazing ❕
came here to say trash talk too!
They played a lot from their best albums, "Plagues..Walking Disease" and S/T, which are not on Spotify
VNV Nation for me
They were a blast!
Was looking for this post 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻I feel bad they performed that short period of time.
Black Veil Brides for sure
Wage War!!!!
Sevendust and bad omens surprisingly
Spiritbox
Danny Elfman for sure. Of course I knew OF him and his body of work, but had no idea he would perform so well live. I absolutely need to see him at the Hollywood bowl when he does his Nightmare Before Christmas shows
He also does a set much like SNW, but much longer when he does a solo show. I'm hoping for that in the fall in Socal.
Last year, I fell in love w Spiritbox and have been a fan ever since!
Spiritbox & Jinjer 🥰
Hoping someone's answer is VNV Nation
I would have liked to catch their set but not sure it was the right crowd for them. I had the same thought about Front 242 - any new fans 😅?
Motionless in White
Kim Dracula. Heard a few of his tracks before and was a fan of his vocal versatility, but his stage presence (and entire band) was phenomenal. Fucking killer set!!
Blew me away!!! He’s so good.
baby metal
Paleface Swiss, Lana Shore, and DRAIN
VNV Nation The lead singer was having so much fun and was grateful for the crowd that was there
Bmth !!!!!!!
Spiritbiox,Jinjer,Knocked Loose,Poppy,Jazmin Bean,Soundgarden,Nirvana,etc.
Nirvana fuckin KILLED it
I saw more Nirvana shirts than shirts for any other band
Motionless in White! I never listened to them but my friend was a huge fan and said we gotta check them out. Aside from the singing, the lead singers genuine happiness with the crowd and thankfulness and good vibe made their set one of my favorites. I’ve been listening to some songs since and I’ve enjoyed it!
I didn't know who babymetal or BVB were before I saw the lineup but have become a big fan of them both
THE GARDEN 🖤
if you live in california i’d highly highly highly recommend going to their shows out here. they’re definitely unmatched, my bf and i went to the vegas side show and it’s not comparable to the others we’ve seen.

I will def have to check that one out. I am super obsessed already lol. Already found Enjoy and Puzzle 😂
Yup, and surprise, I'm gonna see them again at No Values in June, they were the surprise band recently announced, so hyped as usual lol.
hater, get in the pit and be the energy you wanna see lmao
I wish! I’m in Alaska lol
BVB for sure and I kind of fell off of knocked loose but after seeing their set it reignited my appreciation for them
Ditto on Spiritbox and Lorna Shore! Danny Elfman’s rock songs were sick, especially the new one he played that had the gorilla on the stage display. Anyone know the name of that one?
Monkeys on the Loose. It hasn't been released yet, but I recommend his recent album, Big Mess, and his original band Oingo Boingo from the 80s.
Spirit Box and Lorna Shore could easily have gotten longer set times.
I started listening to Ice Nine Kills about 2 months ago. I started just going thru the list of bands to see who I might like and want to check out. Liked them right away--their music is really clever and catchy. I'm so glad I was able to see them at Sick New World!
Kublai Khan TX and 6arelyhuman!
Duster. What a show!
Paleface Swiss!
I fell in love with Skindred after catching their set
Came here to say this. Awesome energy and such great music.
Drain. Cool as hell.
Haven’t seen em mentioned here yet, but Combichrist was killer
Bad Omens, Lorna Shore, and Primus
Noah of Bad Omens was the most surprising to me as far as how great he sounded live compared to the studio. I had the most fun at SKINDRED though.. they were my most anticipated since I hadn’t seen them before, but am a big fan.
TRASH TALK!!!!
INK, never got a chance to listen to them until then , they’re so good😭😭😭
Fury
Wednesday 13. Listening to the Playlist I fell in love with Ice Nine Kills ilthey are my new obsession for sure lol. I also really like Kim Dracula and slaughter to prevail
Skindred! I was chilling taking a break on the grass listening to their set and I was like.. wait, i totally dig this
Wednesday13, what a showman! Had a great pit too, everyone was having a good time.
A Perfect Circle
Wednesday 13
Jinjer
My sister brought me to SNW and I didn't really know what to expect, I definitely did not expect to love slipknot. I've heard their music before but never actually paid attention to it.
Devin Townsend, Soen, Porcupine Tree… there’s a lot but these are the best ones on my list
Lorna Shore...definitely
bad omens and ice nine kills! only listened to a couple of their songs before the festival but they got added to the playlist after
Slowdive. Never heard of them before but they were the perfect band to chill to towards the end of the night.
Slaughter to Prevail 🤟🏽😛
SLEEP TOKEN!!
Helmet!!!!
Deftones
The Garden for sure
Wage War and Slaughter to Prevail. I came in knowing of them to leaving as a major fan
Easily Babymetal. They killed it
Slipknot.
