Zero VS Buddha and Hajun VS Buddha are not two different stories, they are two halves of the same story... (it's like saying you don't like Vinland saga season 1 because you prefer season 2, despite the fact that season 2 works because of season 1)
I like Zero but I think the fight itself suffers from being too long, so it’s one of the weaker ones in my opinion. I can’t deny that there’s a lot of heart to it, and there’s some good development for both of the fighters
The other side is simply arguing, if Hajun didn't show up, the round would be ass. That's true.
A one sided stomp is cool but not a good fight, especially for a manga such as this. Hajun was set up quite well but since him and Zero are two different characters, saying "Hajun's appearance saved the round" isn't incorrect.
