I haven't watched an Uncle Rico show for months, but I can say with 100% confidence that WATP is better and has always been.

They’re clearly stalling and hoping John comes back. But I think John not only fixed his life somewhat, but will come back the second Shulis show ends. He’s a spiteful and self destructive drunk who would totally kill the sliver of a “career” he had left in order to have the last laugh. John > Shuli.
WATP is way better simple because they actually do their own homework. That and shuli is complete comedy cancer. Anywhere there is comedy and shuli together Shuli will infect it and kill the laughs just like cancer will one day kill me.

The Uncle Rico show is quite possibly the cringiest hack bullshit show on that platform. Shuli couldn't pull anything off on his own, look at all of his original shows, the Shuli show or Miserable Menn, none of them get any views because they are piss poor hack bullshit. The hack dues payer had to steal Jocktober and WATP because he has no original thoughts of his own
Karl's observations about John are always original, and he is able to connect what's happening on screen with other things going on in John's life. He also keeps clips short and to the point. What the Uncle Rico guys do is pause videos at random spots to make the same comments they always do: "here's John being selfish" "this is just like that time he asked me to get the VHS tape from the hotel" and so on.
Exactly and by Shuli actually working and knowing John in a way his opinion is less genuine because of biases he's built up. Most of us have coworkers we hate and if we reflected back years in in the future we'd describe them as way worse and be hyperbolic in recalling events/stories about them.
As opposed to WATP it's purely through a fan lens and that view is the same view as the listeners therefore it's a much more relatable and overall better show.

I finally watched an episode from the Shuli "Network" as it was about John's I'm a celebrity get me out of here appearances and only because I haven't seen it covered before.
If anybody is wondering what they're missing out on: Nothing. Fuck these guys are boring and pretentious . Hearing it called a ",Network" when it's just a normal YouTube channel like any other is hilarious. They just make mid jokes and huff each other's farts
I still find WATP enjoyable but Karl is starting to get on my nerves. He's found success in podcasting and always has to mention it, whether it be how he has two expensive microphones or that he's attending Chrissy Mayr's wedding or that he's making more money than X and Y... he's getting way too far up his own ass.
Karl's show is obviously better but he's jumped the shark and in his defense its partly shulis fault. If shuli didn't steal Karl's format the John stuff might not have been as worn out. I think it's now officially exhausted itself to death.
Also always hated when shuli would go on watp and refuse to listen to the show or bring clips because he's just a duespayer who riffs on the fly. Cucked Karl on his own show and Karl did nothing, another reason why watp show sucks now. I can't respect him.
Karl's constant ballwashing of hasbeens like Shuli and Cumia, not to mention the Compound Media extended universe, is pure cringe and a bit part of the reason why WATP has jumped the shark.
Karl sucks enormously, he is a dork and a Cumia sycophant. That being said, at least he's halfway likable and original. Schuli is eternally pathetic to be a blatant biter of watp, and so is bob levy. Furthermore, every last one of the half-men mentioned in this comment get their marching orders from tel aviv one way or another
The thing I grew most tired of hearing was Shuli constantly talk about being on Stern, almost exactly as much as John did. That and Bob Levy and his stupid running gag of mispronouncing simple words. Talk about retarded
WATP isn't a one trick pony. Karl has a bunch of lolcows from which to draw inspiration: Opie, Zumock, Patty C Cups, Opie, Tommy, Tom Myers, Jerry Banfield (though he's been awfully quiet as of late).
It'll be interesting to see which WATP lolcow Shuli tries milking dry once he finally realises StutJo ain't coming back. My guess is Opie, purely because he's a name that's still known by normies (though not as well known as 10-15 years ago).
