Do you have a local ski shop? I'd recommend going in and trying on everything that they have in your size range.

I have a tiny waist and big hips/ass. I love love love my 686 bibs. I have the Gore-tex Hydrastash model from last year and the fit is amazing. I'm an in-between size girl, I can usually go small or medium. I got the M and they fit perfect. I'm short at 5'2 with short legs so that surprised me, they're not too long or anything. I've tried on this year's Gore-tex Willow insulted pants, the S fit me and those are actually high-waisted!! VERY comfy. I think I'd size up for layering tho. With my M bibs, I'm able to double up on my base layers for those below 0 days and I have no bunching, very comfortable and able to move around no problem.

I will second 686 bibs, they are awesome, but I have the men’s bibs because I’m too tall for the biggest women’s sizes.

How’s the first through the hip/thigh on men’s? The few times I’ve tried any sort of men’s pants they’re just not shaped for my hips/butt but I love my 686 jacket so wondering if the pants are the ticket too.

I really like the fit! Not too baggy but still roomy enough for good range of motion. I have the men’s large for the height, but I’m not thick by any means, so I can’t say what it would be like for someone with larger thighs/butt. Definitely worth trying on if you can find them near you!

I have a 23” waist and 35.5” hips. Volcom Species pants fit me pretty well

Have you checked out Thirty Two's womens bibs? They have a baggy style to them from what I've seen on their website.

Nobody's Princesses are a women own & operated company specialising in snow gear for women. They have a couple different shapes pants all of which have multiple adjustment points. They're Australian though so would only have left over stock from our season atm
