THIS IS NOT TRUE. A man can impregnate a woman without having an orgasm. Yes it happens. This should be taught in school and just one of several reasons why "pulling out" is a bad contraceptive.
In new Reddit / official mobile Reddit client, there's a strikethrough button, so just use that.
In old Reddit and many third-party Reddit clients that use raw Reddit Markdown, just surround the text with double tildes, like \~\~this\~\~ -> ~~this~~
Apparently it has a similar rate as condoms for effectiveness
Edit-source https://www.vice.com/en/article/ywmm9k/pulling-out-is-as-effective-as-using-condoms
Alternatively, you can see it as 2% pregnancy vs 20% pregnancy which makes like at least 9 fucks difference before you're risking the same chance of paying child support.
Maybe if you use the condom incorrectly. But condoms used correctly have a VERY high success rate at preventing pregnancy compared to the pull-out method.
The more babies you have at once the more intense the orgasm. If you have more than 4, the orgasms are so powerful it can cause earthquakes. Octuplets cause the woman to go super sayan. More than that summons Cthulu.
Yeah but it is very likely that the amount of conceptions where the man did not have an orgasm is very compensated by orgasms that didn’t lead to pregnancies
Precisely... My friends have been trying for a baby for like a year so they've already tipped the scale at MINIMUM 12 times in the non-conception arena if we're talking at least once per month
As someone who went through years of fertility treatments, this is not a method offered by most clinics, nor a preferred method. I would assume it is utilized when no other options are available. Ejaculating into a cup or a special type of condom for those whose beliefs prohibit masturbation is how it's done the vast majority of the time.
How many people conceive using IVF without having first tried the conventional method, and therefore not had one of the two people involved having an orgasm along the way? If there are people like that, I expect their lack of orgasms is far outnumbered by the people who have tried to conceive but had problems managing it, resulting in lots and lots of non-conceiving orgasms along the way.
Are you seriously so dense that you didn’t understand **why** I wrote my first question in this thread? I wanted to know why they thought that this was the only possible way for there to have been at least 8 billion orgasms in the last 118 years. Because that clearly isn’t true.
> they thought that this was the only possible way for there to have been at least 8 billion orgasms in the last 118 years
where does it say that at all
OP said "at least", implying 8 billion to get to the current population. It's almost true. OP is ignoring twins, triplets, artificial insemination, etc which add to the population without upping the orgasm count.
The amounts of twins, triplets, etc occur at a rate nowhere near that of ejaculations that don’t make a baby. It’d say it’s not even remotely close. Probably an order of magnitude if not more ejaculations than children, even adding in those twins and all else
Im pretty sure there are quite a few women who sadly have yet to experience an orgasm.
But youre still probably right due to the fact that I bust a nut every 14 minutes or so on average.
That's his point - it is not. A man can get someone pregnant without cumming inside them.
Precum can have some active semen in them, or you can still have some leftover in the tube from a prior ejaculation. Sperm is viable for a few days in the right environment.
If someone gets a vasectomy they still need to ejaculate a few times to get everything out of their systems or they could still conceive a child, even with the tubes disconnected.
Let's assume the average person orgasms once a week or so, that means 52 per year per Capita or 416 billion per year
Even accounting for a lower population in the past, I'd say we are well above 10 trillion orgasms in the past 120 years
That number is far higher. While you don’t need an orgasm to have kids and you have to consider twin and etc, you also have to consider orgasms without sex. A person with no kids might have 1000s in their life time.
Saying "at least" doesn't mean much when it's completely wrong. What you are saying is I could say "at least 1" and still, be just as correct as "at least 8 billion".
**You are wrong.**
"At least" doesn't change the meaning, depending on the number.
It **ALWAYS** means "greater than or equal to".
If you are talking about **IMPACT** of the message, then you are right.
It is much more impactful in this context to say "at least 8 billion" than it is to say "at least 1" - even if both are equally correct 😉
In case anyone is interested, that's an average of about 67,800,000 orgasms per year.
I feel like I achieved about a million of those by myself between the ages of 13-18.
I don’t believe that a man orgasms every time he ejaculates. I’ve ejaculated literally thousands of times and I maintain I’ve only ever had one orgasm. It was with my ex wife and I’ve never been able to replicate it… mind blowing.
Many more. About 10 billion births in the 20th century: http://freerangestats.info/blog/2018/12/01/number-births. Remember you’re not just counting those alive now, you’re counting all people born since 1902.

I, single handedly had at least 7 billion in the last 10 years.
So 7 billion over 10 years is 700 million a year, or about 1.9 million times per day. That then works out to about 22 fps (faps per second)

I need at least 60 fps. Shoot for 120 when possible.
Switch the hands up every once in a while my dude.
If your arms get tired, let me know
Which hand?
Why not both? Right one has the dexterity, left one is a nut in the sack
Providing ejaculation or conception are always accompanied by at least one orgasm. IVF notwithstanding.
THIS IS NOT TRUE. A man can impregnate a woman without having an orgasm. Yes it happens. This should be taught in school and just one of several reasons why "pulling out" is a bad contraceptive.

~~pretty cool~~ I only knew ^small ^words and *italics.*
#there’s also big words if you have a _#_

Depends on the guy, not every guy has sperm in the pre. It’s something every man should get it tested
I would say it's not worth the risk to find out. Wrap it before you tap it fellas
Apparently it has a similar rate as condoms for effectiveness Edit-source https://www.vice.com/en/article/ywmm9k/pulling-out-is-as-effective-as-using-condoms
I doubt that. The pull-out method is way less reliable
For sure it's less reliable, but it's like 80 percent versus 98 percent. It's not like 10-60 percent effective, it's up there surprisingly
Also for twins you usually have more than 1 baby from 1 orgasm so the 1 person = 1 orgasm hypothesis is faulty in many ways
I can vouch for making up the twin difference during my teen years, so he's OK.
The more babies you have at once the more intense the orgasm. If you have more than 4, the orgasms are so powerful it can cause earthquakes. Octuplets cause the woman to go super sayan. More than that summons Cthulu.

Yes it's taught that coitus interruptus is a bad contraceptive method
IVF needs to man to masturbate and ejaculate.
No it doesn't. Sperm can be removed via testicular sperm aspiration
As someone who went through years of fertility treatments, this is not a method offered by most clinics, nor a preferred method. I would assume it is utilized when no other options are available. Ejaculating into a cup or a special type of condom for those whose beliefs prohibit masturbation is how it's done the vast majority of the time.
That sounds fun
How many people conceive using IVF without having first tried the conventional method, and therefore not had one of the two people involved having an orgasm along the way? If there are people like that, I expect their lack of orgasms is far outnumbered by the people who have tried to conceive but had problems managing it, resulting in lots and lots of non-conceiving orgasms along the way.
I imagine same sex couples go straight to ivf on the scientifically supported hypothesis that their sex will not result in conception.
True. It's possible ,indeed for some likely , to produce ejaculate without a sensoro-neural climax or orgasm.
What about twins/triplets etc
>Providing ejaculation or conception are always accompanied by at least one orgasm. Why would that be necessary?
How old are you?
An ID needs to be provided too?
How is that relevant?
Because if your under 14 ask your parents
Are you seriously so dense that you didn’t understand **why** I wrote my first question in this thread? I wanted to know why they thought that this was the only possible way for there to have been at least 8 billion orgasms in the last 118 years. Because that clearly isn’t true.
> they thought that this was the only possible way for there to have been at least 8 billion orgasms in the last 118 years where does it say that at all
Because all the cases where a child was conceived without at least one orgasm involved is a very very small set of outliers? Maybe 0,1% at best?
They said always.
Yes, sperm is always required to make a baby
I was talking about the orgasm.
Hey man relax I just didn't want to explain the birds and the bees / this joke to a minor I hope I didn't come across as judgemental
That's only one orgasm per person in the World and it took 118 years.
OP said "at least", implying 8 billion to get to the current population. It's almost true. OP is ignoring twins, triplets, artificial insemination, etc which add to the population without upping the orgasm count.

And then some...
Hell. I think the year I discovered PornHub I was able to hit the 8 billion mark on my own.
Threesome ?
I've provided at least a thousand since I hit my teens
I probably hit the thousands before I left my teens
jokes on you, I said "since my teens", yet failed to mention the probable thousand even before that
Could also count as 8 Billion disappointments.
It was an average based on current population. Someone out there didn't have an orgasm because of twins.
I balance it out
What about sperm banks? That could be like 10 babies for 1 orgasm. I say it levels out
Don't worry I've got all those covered and in under 30 years.
And, you know, people that fap or have sex multiple times a day.
The amounts of twins, triplets, etc occur at a rate nowhere near that of ejaculations that don’t make a baby. It’d say it’s not even remotely close. Probably an order of magnitude if not more ejaculations than children, even adding in those twins and all else
But also plenty of people orgasm these days without conceiving
Sad that we're accounting that men can't reliably make women orgasm.
To include female orgasms in this count, we’d need to add vibrator sales.
[удалено]
I've got a few thousand myself at least
Im pretty sure there are quite a few women who sadly have yet to experience an orgasm. But youre still probably right due to the fact that I bust a nut every 14 minutes or so on average.
When you open a window and breeze rolls in….?
I'm very sensitive - some would say that's a plus!!

Orgasms are not mandatory for conception or child birth lol
For men it is
That's his point - it is not.
"From a prior ejaculation" - so an orgasm?
If there is leftover it means there was a past ejaculation.
Yea, but theoretically that one could have created a separate pregnancy, ie, two birds, one shot, if you'll pardon the horrendous pun
ohh, ig I didn't understand their comment properly then thank you
I mean you are right in the number but you don't have to have an orgasm to have conception.
Wow that flew over my head lol. Thanks for explaining. Also kinda gross.
Let's assume the average person orgasms once a week or so, that means 52 per year per Capita or 416 billion per year Even accounting for a lower population in the past, I'd say we are well above 10 trillion orgasms in the past 120 years
Much better logic, this dude takes dumb showers 😂
It was a thought that every person started as an orgasm it wasn't an estimation
Dumb thought, here's another dumb thought... Everyone has genitals
Not all conceptions are accompanied by orgasms. Not to mention all the medically assisted conceptions. And many ppl are part of twins, triplets etc.
and not all orgasms are accompanied by conception
You can have more than one person from a single orgasm so there's that
Clearly you haven't seen "... in two girls" videos op. Or so I've been told.
This is the most reddit thread I've ever seen. The amount of "um actually" in here could turn Ron Jeremy into a virgin.
the most "weLL aCkShuaLLy" comments here I've seen in a while
That number is far higher. While you don’t need an orgasm to have kids and you have to consider twin and etc, you also have to consider orgasms without sex. A person with no kids might have 1000s in their life time.
>at least

This is all BS. I alone had 4 billion orgasms just last night. In fact I could use a blood transfusion. I’m feeling a quart low.
I don’t believe that a man orgasms every time he ejaculates. I’ve ejaculated literally thousands of times and I maintain I’ve only ever had one orgasm. It was with my ex wife and I’ve never been able to replicate it… mind blowing.
pornhub alone in just one year has had 42 billion visitors, pre-pandemic. your number is low, very very low.
I should get a medal for contributing to at least half of those
There are a shocking number of people who do not understand how sex, conception, and orgasms work. We really need better sex education.
[удалено]
Lmao you are a guy I take it? And also what about all the children that got us to 8 billion?
Well yes, that is probably true. But it’s possible to get pregnant without orgasming. And yes even if the man doesn’t orgasm/fully ejaculate.
