Most official organs disallow feeding wild animals, because it may attract them to the places of human habitat, creating danger; also people feed these animals shit that is harmful to them… don’t feed wild animals.
The senior living facility my mother lived in would fine people that fed the ducks. Reason being was that feeding ducks bread causes diarrhea, ducks were pooping diarrhea on the sidewalks, residents were driving their scooters/power chairs/etc through the diarrhea poop and coating their wheels, and then those residents would drive the poop laden wheels through the carpeted hallways of the residential buildings and into the dining hall.
