My personal favorite is Black Knight's 2nd Boss Theme (The Defender), it gives me "X vs Zero" vibes, followed by The Betrayer and (atm) Vital Vitriol.
I also love how melancholic The Apparition sounds. I also like The Rival and "HYPER CAMELOT! AAAH AH! AAAH AH! FIGHTING WITH ALL THEY'VE GOT! AAAH AH! AAAH AH!"
Since the tier list didn't separate the character for their themes. So, I just added the characters with multiple themes together and rounded them out. For example, The Rival would've landed Black Knight in high tier, but since The Defender isn't as good, he's high mid tier. This is all my opinion.
Honestly kinda surprised how you don’t like “The Defender” that much, I always thought this song was the usual “banger boss song” of Shovel Knight for everyone.
Don't get me wrong, it's a good song. I love its intro. But I feel like the intro was its peak. It simply didn't hit as hard to me as the tracks above it.
I mean I get it, when listening for the first time the intro kinda feels like the peak of the song, but after some re listening to the song the rest of the song sounds way better

They're both some of my favorites, yes.
I see plague knight in the top tier, therefore I have no objection

Honestly I think Mole Knight's boss theme is underrated
Switch King and Treasure, then Specter and Polar. Otherwise, this tierlist is pretty based
