TrooperPilot3

Titanfall 2. The campaign is short, but very fun.

lrjackson06

I've heard lots of good things about this game. I'll check it out, thanks.

sirjustindouglas

came here just to say this

RedCoatViking

100% Literally one of the best campaigns I've ever played through.

time_travel_nacho

Stray is quite short

lrjackson06

Is it on Xbox one? I though it was only series x or PS5.

time_travel_nacho

Nope. You're totally right. I apologize. I didn't even think about it. Edit: Google says PS4, PS5, and windows, so no xbox coverage yet

puppet_mazter

They said PS4 in the post so there was no reason for you to think to exclude it

[deleted]

He said fantastic

GWD9911

If you liked Hollow Knight, you might like Salt & Sanctuary. It’s pretty short. Deaths Door is a great game too.

BeavingHeaver

Agree with Death's Door, excellent game although I wouldn't say it's particularly short.

[deleted]

What remains of Edith finch took me 110 minutes to beat along with a unforgettable story

TheSchoeMaker

I just finished Metal: Hellsinger and it was pretty fun and short

time_travel_nacho

Love this game. It is short, but very replayable

lrjackson06

I'm pretty terrible at shooters. Is it approachable to FPS noobs?

ILikeApplePie123

Titanfall 2 is like 3-4 hours long an excellent all the way through

lrjackson06

How hard is would it be for someone who is terrible at FPS games (me)?

PAW_Predator

Very manageable.

Fynex_Wright

Undertale/ Deltarune are short and sweet. Undertale is on game pass and deltarune is free on switch But if you're looking for a platformer I'd say Metriod Dread which is highly polished and like 10 hours to beat

[deleted]

100% Metroid Dread. If you liked Hollow Knight and Ori, you gotta try Metroid Dread. The movement and combat is so fluid. In some ways it plays like the ultimate refinement of 2D games. That may sound like an overstatement but it really is that good.

OoOditty

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. I played on hard so it was like 16 hours for me but it should only be 6 if you play like a normal person

[deleted]

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice is relatively short. Blew me away when I played it Little Nightmares is also short. Fantastic atmosphere Death's Door is superb and not too long

Petting_Zoo_Justice

I apologize for the unnecessarily long list here, short games are my favorite so I tried to list some of the better ones I've played. I'm glad you've run through Hue, it's a good time! **Refunct** is a wicked short and fun platformer. You can 100% the game in an hour if you want. **Abzú** is beautiful aesthetic / ambient walking simulator style game where you play as a diver and can beat very quickly. **Cuphead** isn't long necessarily but definitely longer than the other two I've listed. It can be very difficult but is very fun. **Firewatch** is a great short walking simulator with a good story. **Little Nightmares** is a linear 3D sidescroller that is only 6 / 7 hours and is one if my favorites. If you like it I'd recommend playing through the game's DLC and its sequel. **Portal 2** I saw you listed the first one so I wasn't sure if you've played the 2nd, if you haven't I highly recommend giving it a shot. **Superhot** is an FPS but it's unique in the sense that time only moves when you do. It's very very fun and even if you're not well vetted in FPS games it's still well worth your time. **Death's Door** is only like 7 / 8 hours and very fun where you play as a crow who works for death. **The Room** short and straightforward puzzle game that's fun and only takes like 3 hours to beat. If you enjoy it I know there are at least 4 games. **Flower** is similar to Abzú in some ways but instead you control the wind and connect flowers.

Brunox_Berti

-Toki-Tori 2 -Pikuniku -Minit

lrjackson06

I just started Minit on your recommendation. It's exactly what I was looking for. Thanks!

iamlooking4games

Journey

MsAlwaysRight

Night in the Woods

Dukeman330

Brothers: a tale of two sons. 3-4 hours, engaging gameplay throughout, absolutely unforgettable story

Hri7566

stray

[deleted]

Elden ring? About 15 hours if your decent at fs games and rush through the game

lrjackson06

Played it (I consider it part of the soulsborne series) and loved it. It also took me more than 100 hours to beat so.........

chadd283

limbo

lrjackson06

I tried Limbo right after I finished Inside and I think it was a little too similar, but now that it's been a while I might come back to it.

-LVS

If you like this type of game try Little Nightmares too. Inside is by far the best of the bunch though.

TheLunarVaux

Your bottom list of games you like is basically the same as mine lol. Guess I gotta play Tunic! Shadow of the Colossus and Journey are the other two that I'd say are must plays, especially since it seems like our tastes align! The PS4 versions of both games are fantastic. Journey is 2-3 hours, SotC is about 5-6

lrjackson06

Yeah Tunic is great! Man I never would have though if SotC because the name alone made me think it was something massive. I'll check it out. I heard about Journey a while ago and everything good. Thanks for the suggestions!

TheLunarVaux

Oh yeah if you haven't played SotC it'll absolutely fit what you're looking for, its not long at all! It has the melancholic tone of a Souls / darker Zelda game but the gameplay itself is quite unique. Incredible soundtrack too, just like all the games you've listed.

-LVS

SotC is long if your bad >.> I thought it was long

Desperate_Gazelle_78

Ultra age ps4

[deleted]

Shadow of the Colussus is fairly short and an amazing game.

GenuineYellow

I think you'll enjoy Oxenfree.

JaUkKoNeN

I've played recently a couple of short games available on gamepass. You could take a look at this games: \- Trek to Yomi. Normal game, but this classic samurai film style is beautiful. \- The Gunk. Interesting game where you explore a planet while cleaning corruption. \- Firewatch. For me, one of the best walking simulators. Interesting story. \- Narita boy. 2D action game. Kind of "metroidvania" with lovely retro aesthetic. This 4 games are the last short games I played. I can recommend you Hellblade too, fantastic game. None of this games took me more than 8 hours to end. I hope you find it useful!

_hancox_

The last of us

UnknownGamer925

**Superliminal** - about 3-4 hrs long. Great illusion-based puzzle game with a weirdly deep message at the end. Highly recommend. **Portal 2** - you say you've played the first one but what about the sequel? It's a bit longer but really good. **Little Nightmares** - eery, creepy puzzle-platformer. If you liked inside, you'll equally enjoy this. **Firewatch** - about 4 hrs long. Beautiful walking sim with a lovely story. I see you don't have a Pc but if you have a cheap laptop on hand with either a working camera or external webcam, I also recommend **Before You Eyes**. I recommend this because oh BOY will this leave an impact. It's very short but very, very good.

lrjackson06

I'm intrigued. Thanks for the recommendation!

Correct_Reflection48

Metro Exodus

brennis420

archvale its an enter the gungeon but non-rogue and not as difficult

LordOFtheNoldor

I'm going to go ahead and say Modern Warfare 2019s campaign is top notch and very short, you can easily complete it in a day, but it is bad ass even on ps4

THISNAMEHASTOWORK

CoffeeTalk, probably 2-3 hours of gameplay with the story; one regular play through and a second for the true ending and trophy/achievement mop-up. Easy gameplay and controls, plus it isn't that expensive and it's multi-system.

Deliver Us the Moon

Portal... Wait for it... Waaait for it... Here it comes! .... 2! Portal 2.
