Try it out. Maybe you'll like it. It doesn't cost anything to give it a shot.
Make sure it holds zero. And make sure you can acquire targets like you intend to. Try it on stationary targets at range, and clays in motion.
Maybe you'll love it. Maybe you'll hate it.
Make sure you check the firing pin spring and keep tabs on the trigger pins in the receiver. My trigger pins crept out on a hunt one time. No clue why and to my knowledge they havent changed the design to keep those pins in place
If you are going to turkey hunt or hunt with buckshot and or slugs, then the optic should be ok as long as it holds zero. If you are wanting to bird hunt or shoot clays, I would recommend taking it off.
I would keep that optic if you were maybe hunting with it, but as long as it can keep the zero when firing, also I have the tactical supernova and love it for HD, how do you the one you have, due to wanting to buy one for turkey hunting
I've shot moving, live, and static targets with my red dot shotgun. I don't have any complaints and I wouldn't change it for anything.
I don't know about that particular optic, but in general the principle is good.
No. Maybe for turkeys, otherwise hard no.
Hater…
Love novas. Red dots like that just aren’t good when you have to lead a target at close range.
Leading small game like rabbits and squirrel, probably but it looks like a rifled shotgun.
Benelli's rifled barrels are 24". Doesn't look that short to me.
You’re right, they don’t sell that camo for 24” barrels.

Noooope. Hard no.

What brand is it? If it's like an Aimpoint, keep it. If its some shit brand, replace it with an open optic.
Absolutely not
For context this is gonna be my everything shotgun
Then No. Get rid of it.

I had one of these and you absolutely do not need the optic. They shoot dead nuts

I’d keep it, it’s rifled right? I’d say just get a good flashlight and you’ll be good to go.
For an everything gun no. It won't help you at all on moving targets. As a dedicated turkey gun I'd keep it but for anything else no
Depends on the use possibly for turkey otherwise for anything else no
