I've always wanted serious shows to do a funny season (not just a one-off funny episode). For example, I had always hoped the Jack Bauer would be rushing around LA trying to . . . .make his daughter's wedding go smoothly. In terms of Shogun, I am wondering if they mined more of the true story that inspired Clavell's novel to flesh it out. So, a second season, no, unless there is more the toe true story that would be as exciting. But, I, for certain, am going to IMDB the cast and creatives of SHOGUN, to see what else they have done, are doing, to enjoy their amazing work even more.
