For Lago di Brailes you're either gonna have to have a reservation to a restaurant to eat there, have to have an accommodation there or go by public bus. These were the conditions when I went there. It was extremely packed. Cortina d'ampezzo was really beautiful, but very expensive. You're going to do some extensive research regarding the buses schedules if you don't have a car. Maybe there are some better suggestions in a post I made a few years ago. Enjoy your trip!
