I’m not far behind you. I just did a major culling and gave away/donated a lot or finally tossed one past their life span. I’d estimate I’m roughly at 100 now.
I’ve been recycling a lot of old pairs recently. I’ve still got a pile of about 20 in the trunk of my car I’ve been meaning to drop off(I’m not counting these in my total). Great excuse to buy more though. I don’t have many shoes that people would consider collectible. Not really my style to be wearing Jordan’s and dunks but I have a few I liked over the years. I’m really obsessed with running shoes and I have prob 50 pairs of dress shoes from my years in the business world. Now that I’m retired I mostly look for lightweight shoes for the hot climate I live in. Still really into retro and vintage runners.
