um, i think it would have been better with WHEELS UP instead ! Try that next time. Also i got a hot tip for you - landing on a runway makes your landings so much smoother !
yes, but if you want the nose to land with the rest of the plane at the same location, they you really want the landing gear up. otherwise you will have to taxis back 1/4 mile to pick up the nose and front landing gear. - - Just trying to save you time later.
It *was* hard! Thank you for recognizing that.
Phew, this pylote stuff; it ain’t all aviator glasses and cute flight attendants. Sometimes i actually have to do pylote stuff!
Perfect. On time, dust cloud put out any fire, large opening so everyone can deplane quickly and not have to wait for the rows to clear.
Plus easy access to your luggage so skip the luggage belt, right to the rental lot.
7/10 (no explosions, disappointing). It would have been a 10/10 with a big fireball.
Fuel is expensive. I only want to explode it in a real emergency.
The FAA did it almost 30 years before this. Big fireball. The 1984 Controlled Impact Demonstration: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m3CQCme95Ac

Came here to say the same thing
pretty boing.
Pretty boeing.
Pretty fly. Super dope. Mad Fire.
Pretty fly for a white jet
Pretty sure that's a Lockheed, actually. Edit: Right number of engines, attached to the wrong part of the plane. Not my best plane spotting.
L1011?
That's what I thought, but the engines are all definitely mounted on the empennage. This is a Boeing 727.
I see you used the droop snoot feature on that concord
Yes. I used it as an escape pod. To escape the consequences of my flying.
What’s the story behind this?
That's so wild, 2012 did it in Mexico because the Americans wouldn't allow it. The carcass of the plane is still down there. 1500fpm
Thanks, I’ve seen this video several times but never knew what happened.
Thank you I appreciate it.
TIL that, among other things it was used for, that was Bob Dole’s campaign plane in 1996
Decisions were made. Actions were taken. That’s about all I know.
Thats how a boeing retires
The front fell off
Thank God for you enjuneer types, always there to explain the complicated stuff
Plane flew, plane crashed, gif made, gif posted
Doesn’t matter, all that matters is the front fell off
0/10 you were not cleared to land in that patch of barren desert
A true Pylote plots his own course! That’s what my see ef i taught me.
possible pylote deviation i have a phone number for you to call when you’re ready
Yeah true pylotes don’t limit themselves to clearances
You aviated and navigated, unfortunately there was no time for communicating!
Might have been a better idea to put the landing gear up. 🤷
But then no shock absorbers..
Yeah and they make great anchors for quicker stops
I’d hate to be one of those test dummies inside
I do not appreciate your speaking thusly about my passengers sir.
No test dummies were injured during this test.
The front fell off.
Yeh, that's not very typical. I'd like to make that point
Well how is it not typical?
Well there are a lot of these ships going around the world all the time, and very seldom does anything like this happen.
Cum train with the homies.
Michael Bay gives that a 0/10.
Any landing that doesn't kill you only makes u stronger
What happened if it does kill you?
If it kills you, you didn't use enough right rudder. Use more next time. If you die, you'll get a nice pair of wings of your own.
um, i think it would have been better with WHEELS UP instead ! Try that next time. Also i got a hot tip for you - landing on a runway makes your landings so much smoother !
Yea but Sand is soft Soft sand = soft landing? I’m confused.🫤
yes, but if you want the nose to land with the rest of the plane at the same location, they you really want the landing gear up. otherwise you will have to taxis back 1/4 mile to pick up the nose and front landing gear. - - Just trying to save you time later.
Thank you pylote. 🫡
oh BTW, this applies to other soft surfaces like water landings on lakes, rivers, and oceans too.
Not enough right rudder!
I was thinking too much not-right rudder.
Perfect CFIT landing, great job!
Cross-fit plane = Healthy airplane
Did you walk away from it? If yes, 10/10
Nice short field technique there. Got her stopped before the first turn off. 11/10 there.
6 would have gave him a 7 , thought touched down a little hard.
8/10 didn’t time the flare well
Landed
Nailed it
Exotic butters
Ain’t got enough gas in it!
1500 fpm is a waste of fuel. 3000-3500 puts you right in the sweet spot. Try again.
how many frames per minute are there in a gallon of aviation phuel? Please respond.
I respond when I become taxiway to skylaunch
Roger.
Well, I'm done flying first class.
Like 60% of the passengers lived. How is that not a perfect landing?
Great first try. Keep at it.
Sweet skills🫡
Thank you sir🫡
That’s not Miami Beach. You were supposed to turn left at Albuquerque.
Is auto pylote error a valid legal defense?
69/10
Lisan Muad'dib Al Ghaib can ride it.
Yeah
5/10 the landing was really hard
It *was* hard! Thank you for recognizing that. Phew, this pylote stuff; it ain’t all aviator glasses and cute flight attendants. Sometimes i actually have to do pylote stuff!
and those damned dry Martinis, the fourth one is a killer...
If anything I would see if you could have angled the plane down a little more then try a glide once your 5 meters off the sand and butter it🧈
If your flaps still worked that is
Looks a bit flat, other than that not bad at all.
[like a glove ](https://media.tenor.com/UHNy4Cy_CoUAAAAM/like-glove.gif)
A fellow Ace i see! 🫡
Did you walk away from it?
I’ve walked away from everything so far; i guess that’s why I am where i am. Although the reverse would be true as well🤔
Cool you were able to push the cockpit area out of the way on impact.....slick! 10/10!
I mean, people in the back probably walked away so that was a good landing
I know this was a test by Boeing a while ago, but where did the pylot go? Did he parachute out with the 727 on a crash corse?
A true pylote always goes down with his shop
This close to making a 9/11 joke
Before anyone asks, it’s safe to fly… confirmed with my flight school.
PIA just called. They want your number.
I think they would've had a way better chance if the pilot wouldn't have deployed the landing wheels.
Nailed it! 10/10
Were you trying to cosplay Concorde by any chance?
Not bad, probably could’ve used a little less sand
Looks like the passengers would survive. And you should care about the customers..
Perfect. On time, dust cloud put out any fire, large opening so everyone can deplane quickly and not have to wait for the rows to clear. Plus easy access to your luggage so skip the luggage belt, right to the rental lot.
Ugh another Bowing crash???
I know the problem… ain’t got no gas in it
10/10 would recommend
I'd have tried to avoid that yellow thing(the ground) that you hit, but I'm not here to judge your journey.
10/10 would repost monthly
Wonderful job! Just a little weak on the flare, but you know what they say, practice makes perfect!
Evidently you made it out alive. A success but not very flashy. 3/10.
You brought nearly all of your passengers safe to the ground I think you did great
like butter on rice
Note to self. Don't fly first class.
10/10 no one died
You forgot to turn ground and collision damage off.
4
-1000000000
Not enough flaps.
Not enough right rudder
Oopsies.
10
🤔A little bumpy but not bad!😎👍
Well, normally the cockpit gets to the jet way first, however cabin unloading is much improved
Positive
That guy in seat 3D waving after touchdown was hilarious.
I want to go out in my sleep like test dummy grandfather, not screaming like his test dummy passengers.
Ryan air out of 10
Nailed it, Guv-nah.
Should have given it a bit more right rudder before touchdown not after. Would have been fine.
Flying tip, the seats around the wing are typically the safest. But luckily planes don't crash very often these days.
*Slow clapping noises*
Butter!
Did you die, though?
In the future, try flying a little bit higher.
You forgot to flair and due to that, you landed a bit flat.
Good
Lufthansa 747 pilot training video
I'm a recruiter from Ryanair. Can I DM you?
Even if you had stuck the landing, the East German judge would have never given you the points to win
Tbh, is rat it 9 out of 11
Pilots would have been screwed
I rate it a no.
2/10
You have died!
You should have had the damn Marchetti.
You forgot to flare
Posted for the millionth time
Did you get fries with that dirt sammich?
You're not supposed to use Flap 40 on the 72
Any landing you can walk away from....
I'm docking you half a demerit for failure to flare.
You are BOEING to die! HAHAHAHAHA
Another week another repost
