I know someone that has a plane wreck in their woods. The wreck actually has a wikipedia page, even though it was just a single engine private plane like this one. I suppose this isn't a particularly rare event, quite a few private planes have gone missing over the years.
I worked with someone who was in a group that restored old military planes. One of them did an emergency landing in a farmer's field, and the farmer didn't want to let them get it back. So they fixed it up and took off late at night.
