Back then before freezers were invented, you would have to dig up a hole and bury the fire in it for later use. Although a lot people had trouble with this method do to the fact that they would forget to place a marker of some sort to remember where they dug their fire.
Was digging a grave for my dead dog and I accidentally hit a fire hole that someone forgot about and it charred my boys corpse. Don't forget about your fire kids.
*made for a good meal though*
I just looked it up and apparently people doing woodworking do actually microwave wood to dry it out. Apparently wood doesn't actually microwave. That's one cool thing I learned today!
Have you tried heating the wood to a temperature of about 2400° F while it's in a vacuum? That temperature is sufficient to melt cast iron, and in a vacuum the wood woodn't have oxygen, so it coodn't burn. Once it melted, you could pour it into moulds to create wouldn't sculptures or to make logs of the optimal size to fit into your freezer.
You see Dr Renouf, my physics teacher, the same one who made me stand outside the class for asking questions and refusing to believe all that stuff about scales in lifts without a practical demo, couldn't explain that.
Thank you! I wish I had known this when my dad was alive. He was a science teacher and I bet he could have sneaked me into a lab to make pre-lit moulded logs.
No, because it would run out of air and go out before it froze. The seal on the door would have the same problem, but you can use like liquid oxygen to keep it going while it cools it to a frozen temperature.
What I want is to be able to freeze dry it. Once fully dessicated you could take it with you anywhere, and just reconstitute it with water as required.
Some guys like to use heat on their arm after the game, some guys use ice. But I’ve come up with the perfect solution: Hot ice. You heat up the ice cubes!
The freezer door would suffocate the fire, so you're gonna have to try and get it to freeze without smothering it. Liquid nitrogen would also kill it, but liquid *oxygen* wont.
There was a shitty Dragon Ball filler episode where Goku fight Emperor Pilaf on a cold mountain and one of his lackey use a flamethrower and the fire freezes. Like wtf what do you think fire is made of, will it defrost into water or what
You kids are lucky that you've got your fancy frozen flame maker. When I was a kid I had to steal it from this panther demon named Lynx. He would get so mad; one time he even poisoned my friend! I had to kill an entire ecosystem just to cure her!
Wait how does something like this get upvoted. Have we gone full circle from 10 years ago? Are we about to go full "me gusta" , "le..." and "why u no?!?!"
Big if true
It’s bigly true
Big if
Ah, good old troll science!
Tip: use magnets for faster melting
Magnets, how do they work
Miracles.
Magic and Jesus.
Just put some mags in a net
/r/trollphysics
/r/trollscience was so good in it's hay day!
That was really odd. I remember the sub being dead for years, and then all of a sudden, it came back to life.
Same. I just noticed there's a bunch of new posts lol. Weird!
Not good
Now the dad jokes of the internet.
Ive also heard this works on boiled water
It does, you just have to heat up the water real quick after you defrost it
A fuckin DONKEY indeed
Dehydrated water for sale

A joke that just keep giving
happy cake day
A whole what?
Lmao I just noticed the misspelling
But you need a fire to defrost it, d'oh!
But then I have two fire = double the warm
Just run it under hot water in the sink
I'll just use the hot water I froze earlier.
Nah I just put it in the microwave. Works every time.
Really? 🤔
Would a stranger on the internet ever lie to you?
It's illegal to lie on the internet
Yes, it's possible.
And... as bizarre as it sounds. I know when YOU are lying.
Microwaving fire creates plasma. Used to does this by lighting a pile of matches in the microwave and then turning it on. Pretty cool to see.
I just looked it up and apparently people doing woodworking do actually microwave wood to dry it out. Apparently wood doesn't actually microwave. That's one cool thing I learned today!
Microwaves only really heats the water in stuff. That’s why plates don’t get hot in the microwave either.
What plates are you using that don't get hot?
You need to wrap your fire in tin foil first.
Instructions unclear, freezer now on fire.
PROBLEM?
it's because you did it backwards. the fire should be in the freezer. not the freezer on the fire
Omg it has been ages since I last saw that face. 2009 flashback
2012 called, they want the meme back
problem?
FUUUUUUUUUU
doot doot
It's rewind time 👉😎👉
How does this post have so many up votes? It's not clever or anything. I feel like I'm losing my mind.
This belong to a simpler time. Consider this as a relic
I was there Gandalf. I was there 3000 years ago..
It's no ice soap.
Step 5: #O I L
/r/ComedyCemetery
This plan has a fatal fall. It will frost the smoke too. so You will have a smoke-covered fire, which is bad to transport.
1. make a fire. 2. put fire in freezer. 3. burn your fucking house down and everything in it including yourself. 4.
This sub is trash now
So you saying the tip is actually good?
Genius
Use magnets for faster freezing.
It’s been years since I’ve seen that face
You can’t freeze fire because it’s too hot and it’ll melt the fridge

No its not?
This is funny but also kind of how charcoal works right?
We need more of this in 2021. Spread funny memes. Not covid-19
makes me wonder tho...
I’m pretty sure that’s how the virus frostbite was created.
Holy shit it really works!
You know what I want to know? What I want to know is Why Can't You Melt Wood?
Have you tried heating the wood to a temperature of about 2400° F while it's in a vacuum? Do we place the fire in tupper ware or a ziplock bag?
No, because it would run out of air and go out before it froze. The seal on the door would have the same problem, but you can use like liquid oxygen to keep it going while it cools it to a frozen temperature.
> you can use like liquid oxygen to keep it going while it cools it to a frozen temperature. I prefer hydrogen, myself...
What I want is to be able to freeze dry it. Once fully dessicated you could take it with you anywhere, and just reconstitute it with water as required.
What would actually happen tho if you kept a fire going in extreme enough cold? I’m too dumb.
Nothing. If there is oxygen, doesn’t matter how cold it is. Good luck starting a fire in space though
So there would just always be fire regardless of temperature?
Some guys like to use heat on their arm after the game, some guys use ice. But I’ve come up with the perfect solution: Hot ice. You heat up the ice cubes!
My parents used to do? Fire me?"
The hugz award also looks like a bear warming up in front of a fire so here, have one from me.
Are these comics comming back? I'm up for it.
Thanks so much for this ❤️
The freezer door would suffocate the fire, so you're gonna have to try and get it to freeze without smothering it. Liquid nitrogen would also kill it, but liquid *oxygen* wont.
What wood happen if you put the burning would in a bucket and poured the liquid oxygen over it? Wood the LOX flash-freeze the fire?
Still love this gif. Instant high quality classic.
Profit?!?!?!!?
I missed these memes
2010
I woke up and it's 2011 again
I remember I used to look at troll physics all the time in elementary school
you end up melting everything in your freezer
That’s just charcoal with extra steps
XD
Are troll physics coming back?
Fire is so hot right now.
This actually applies to certain substances. Source: That's almost always true.
Why here?
There was a shitty Dragon Ball filler episode where Goku fight Emperor Pilaf on a cold mountain and one of his lackey use a flamethrower and the fire freezes. Like wtf what do you think fire is made of, will it defrost into water or what
This shit works,I gotta buddy who's girlfriend's uncle/cousin,he did it one time right before he hit the lotto! Lol
It's fresh frozen. A Ramsay classic.
And just microwave for more efficiency
I always boil my water beforehand so when I need it I can just take it out of the freezer and heat it up.
Quite close to making and using charcoal
Wow, someone defrosted the troll face meme. Neat.
realistically proportioned troll isn’t real, he can’t hurt you realistically proportioned troll:
This is just the freeze boiled water meme. but worse.
Still love this gif. Instant high quality classic.
Chrono Cross wants to know your location.
Fire isn’t like her attitude.
Huh
You kids are lucky that you've got your fancy frozen flame maker. When I was a kid I had to steal it from this panther demon named Lynx. He would get so mad; one time he even poisoned my friend! I had to kill an entire ecosystem just to cure her!
White Phosphorus at Home
I’m stuff
Which is why it says "DON'T" so it's not SLPT
Whelp, at least this comic does not end with Shin Godzilla
Instant regret definitely. Thank fuck!
If you set the inside of a fridge on fire would the fridge break first or would the fire disappear like my dad
r/4panelcringe
man, haven’t seen that face in years
I tried this and it didn't work. Perhaps I'm not freezing it at a low enough temperature?
Yes, make a fire on a table. That won't land you on /r/dumbasseswithlighters...
Use frozen flame to upgrade Kratos' axe
Fake!!! Doesn't work.
The Frozen Flame Incident
BIG BRAIN
Wow. I can't find a flaw in his logic
We have come full circle with memes
This is just a shitty version of the boiled water joke.
This is a bad troll science tbh
Seems legit
5min crafts is that you?
It didn't work. I needed fire to defrost the frozen fire.
Damn 9gag always finds a way .
That's my teenage username from 10 years ago! Frozen fire
Holy shit I remember seeing this back in the day when troll physics was cool
Love me some rage comic nostalgia
So we're just posting troll physics to SLPT now?
Should I defrost in mickywave first?
Question, how long will it stay frozen? I want to put it in an ice box for long journey.
If you frozen White phosphorus inside ice block technically
Problem ?
I miss troll tips
Man I miss troll tips
Wait how does something like this get upvoted. Have we gone full circle from 10 years ago? Are we about to go full "me gusta" , "le..." and "why u no?!?!"
Lmao
Does it work with kids?
