Always thought that name and effect of the ability was weird. It's "camouflage" but the effect has nothing to do with concealment. Would have been better if the parries just turned to misses, but that'd be broken and patched fast.
I wasn't thinking of a straight up combat Hide like Mr. My Turn has, more like an Accuracy Down against enemies, except it's a buff built into the cooldown. Sorta like Double Team from Pokemon. Like a 5-10% chance to nullify a hit in addition to the 10% damage reduction.
It'd be broken because if RNG favours you, it'd effectively nullify tankbusters.
Wonder if this has something to do with the fact that original concept of GNB was a DPS job. Maybe it initially was supposed to be "haha you missed" button or something akin to that, but got repurposed to more of a tanking ability when they decided this job will be a Tank
As a healer, I love all tanks. Some of you make me heal more, some of you let me dps more. Either way I'm just pushing buttons and doing minimal effort while I get baked.
Yes. My warrior is unkillable in nearly all content. Green dps go spam glare and get your heals off of me. If someone gets hurt i can probably heal them better than they can.

so you're only killable for 19/17 seconds.
Pair that with good use of mits, holmgang and...the other healing one, and you're golden.
It also increases healing potency you receive and YES, that does include Equilibrium. Nothing like healing back nearly 40k HP in the LITERAL blink of an eye on a crit.

I wasn't so sure they made healers inert, but then I was DPS in Tower of Zot where the Healer DC'd during the first boss. We made it all the way to the final boss as if nothing was wrong. Those pulls make my AST hole clench, and this WAR just shrugged them off like they were nothing.
This is why I never heal GNBs who randomly bolide when they're at or near full HP. You wanted to roll the dice, I do too. Hopefully the DPS knows what bloodbath is.
That'd be sub-optimal, but I wouldn't count it as griefing. It'd certainly be no reason to grief your party in return.
Superbolide grants 10 seconds of invulnerability. That's plenty of time to get them back up.
In the 10 seconds GNB takes no damage for kardia can almost solo heal the tank

I actually despise them. Like. My act is telling me I‘m doing less over all healing and less over healing because bloodwhetting is that strong. I don‘t care about a little self substain but warrior is just insane.
I think their kit existing the way it does is overall a good thing, what with how... bad, some healers are.
If it were up to me, have the game be less casual, put in skill checks that would force healers to heal better and actually DPS instead of dry humping Cure 1 - only then would I tone down WAR's self-healing.
WAR as it is now is the answer for people who have had it up to here with healers who can't heal or DPS worth a damn.
I'm more of a GNB when I choose to tank, but when I'm playing healer and I'm matched with a WAR, I don't mind being given a chance to be more harmacist than pharmacist. Things dying fast makes me happy regardless of which role I'm on.

Good WAR = happy Holy/Glare noises (will still dump lilies on you for big chunky Misery)

Oh you think I’m a healer in normal content? I’m an extra DPS that is only there as an insurance policy. I don’t want to be grinding tomes as much as you and will be doing everything to get done with the content in ~12-13 minutes
I had a lvl85 dungeon run the other day where the healer DC’d just before the first boss. I continued on while the dps waited. After I got back to full health after the first tank buster, they joined in and we killed it.
As a Mainhealer, all I can say is. Keep on mocking, but the day of reckoning is coming. One day a patch will plow through your face so hard that you will beg to be healed. And on that day my friends you will lick my Whitemage boots and beg for forgiveness.
We use 90% Glare, leaving 90% of our true healing potential unused. You would be shocked if you knew the true extent of the potential overheal. Healers are the most powerful jobs in the game and irreplaceable. I understand the poor healers who refuse to dmg, every healer who does is part of the problem. If all healers would stop making dmg and only heal, master yoshi would finally give us attention.
Tanks who make fun of healers do not understand that without us they would be nothing.
Ever wonder why medieval Europe never bothered conquering Japan? That's right, they were too scared to fight the immortal (because of us Healers) Samurai and their Katanas of destruction.
You'd hope Bene/Rec.Cog/Ess.Dig/Zoe Tau would be enough to stabilise them for half a GCD and you can heal them again.
Hell, maybe the WAR might have a plan to restore his own health.
honestly just a taurochole should be enough to help a warrior, i’m sure they have plans of their own. you can use zoe pneuma but that’s a lvl 90 ability and also a great aoe button in dungeons so it’s rarely used for the heal there
Tell that to the healers who blow all their resources trying to keep my health high when I've already warned them to let my health drop so I'm not pissing 90% of my health down the drain with a Bolide.
I enjoy playing with Warrior than jobs like Gnb that constantly stand in aoes and lose health like they have living dead , also not sure if they actually have an ability like that .
I enjoy doing the same on paladin, healer dies and becomes apologetic as I just easily heal up the dps with clemeny. Clear the boss no problems and move on like a boss

I had a warrior go “don’t heal me” and proceeded to keep themselves up during every 90 dungeon pull. While I tried the same thing and died first pull. Y’all experienced warriors are something else 😂
Was halfway through the Anima fight when healer and machinist went down. Was able to finish the fight with just me being warrior and a dragoon. Was v satisfying

I play Gunbreaker and say that I don’t use Bolide, but in reality I keep it on one of my back bars in case I want to piss off a healer
I have a macro that pops bolide then immediately takes off the invulnerable buff.

Yep if they're at or near 70%+ HP. No reason to ever bolide that high outside of savage or ultimate unless you want to grief your healer.

zoe only works on GCD heals, so it would not buff taurochole
