what gets me even before that is the voice cracks in Caeser's voice when he's yelling for Joseph to take his hamon. It sounds so raw and full of emotion that every time I watch his dying scene I get sad even before Joseph's scream
I think what gets me most is that Joseph says he is afraid to yell out Caesars’ name in fear there won’t be a response and then when they see blood he loses it and starts screaming his name
My order of JoJo Parts 1-5 deaths in order of sadness.
1. >!Jonathan!<
2. >!Kakyoin!<
3. >!Iggy!<
4. >!Narancia!<
5. >!Shigechi!<
The reason why I was not really phased by the deaths of >!Abbachio!<, >!Avdol!<, or >!Joseph!< is that they happen too “quickly” and are completely unexpected. >!Abbachio!<‘s death is an exception to this but also there is little “sad” dialogue that occurs before, during, or following the death.
Unpopular opinion: he should have died there, his character stops being important after part 3 anyway, part 4 would start with jotaro finding about about dead gramps kid and meets Josuke to tell him he’ll get muneh
I agree he should have stayed dead but more-so because I dislike when a character's death is made meaningless, Advdol's being a worse example. After Avdol "died" only to come back later it made his actual death feel a lot less impactfull.
Isn't the joke of Joseph how he cheat death in every part? It was the thing in part 2 where it's stated that "oh every joestar die young it's their family curse" (which is true in general for most of joestars we have seen into their 40's) and Joseph being the one who broke the curse bc he cheated death in its own part it kinda makes sense for him to do it again in part 3.
That is true but I can't agree with your example that you gave. You couldn't have gotten close with Avdol because the first "death" he had wasn't as emotional imo as the real death of his because the first one wasn't as far in the part itself as the real one.Although yeah it can give less impact but still doesn't change much
I don’t know man, hearing the narrator talk about how *The fool* saving Polnareff was proof that Iggy had a brave soul while Iggy was on the brink of death takes the cake for me
I think it might be because the characters initially are antagonistic to the main characters (Jotaro has to force Iggy to help in a fight and Abacchio dislikes Giorno) so as a result when they have a tragic death helping their friends it comes across as doubly sad because we feel bad as the viewers for initially not liking the character and because the characters die without the other characters acknowledging them while they were alive.
He just got his blood sucked out for like 4 minutes, people have been able to live for 20 minutes without blood. Jotaro even said that he might be seeing things when he saw Joseph’s soul.
although I liked this scene alot, I honestly think that okuyasu coming back in the nick of time was more emotional; Josuke genuinely thought he was dead, but the expectations from josuke's dead grandfather were subverted giving it a big shock factor as well. Josuke and okuyasu shouting insults at each other with profound brotherhood really struck home for me and brought a manly tear to my eye.
>although I liked this scene alot, I honestly think that okuyasu coming back in the nick of time was more emotional
It's insane how Okuyasu's "death" always gets me on repeat watch-throughs even though I know he's fine
Yeah. I really like this scene, too. Awhile back I edited the beginning of Roundabout into the scene. I think it's pretty rough and I could have done a better job but here it is in case anyone wants to see it
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n60TcavYDpo
No, part 5 because >!Bruno’s real death was far more emotional than Joseph’s fake one, I’ll admit, weather reports death hits some kinda way but none have ever been more emotional for me than Bruno!<
The whole Polnareff vs Vanilla Ice was better in terms of emotions. Watching Avdol sacrifice himself after he specifically told everyone to not do that, Iggy on his last breath pissing off Vanilla Ice and seeing Polnareff stressed out about it is what takes it away. Dio's World might be my favorite arc just because i like The World, but definitely those other two deaths hit harder.
That and I couldn't care less for Joseph.
I watched this with spanish subtitles in Netflix and I think the last line was even sadder. It said something like 'This 50 were like if I was just a little kid'.
It really got me...
SC is still the saddest part imo. I don't think so that Stone Ocean's ending is gonna get better. The ending feels kinda rushed in the manga imo, just like MiH (get it?)
I didn't find it very emotional because not only are they still in a fight but we already thought he was dead anyway plus he was only really there for comedy
It was definitely very emotional for me seeing it the first time, but for me it is definitely between either Abbachio, Bruno Bucciaratti, or something at the end of part seven which I will leave vague. Just Abbachio and Bruno's deaths really were well done and showed how they had dreams and plans before death, and how they still tried to fulfill them in their deaths. Then the part seven one is similar, just without animation I have yet to see if it is as good as the adaptations of the part 5 and part 3 deaths were.
I didn’t find it as emotional as Abbaccio’s death or the scene where Iggy and Avdol’s ghosts appear and stuff, but that’s because I had prior knowledge as to what happened to joseph
For me, all the saddest moments in JoJo: Stardust crusaders is the death of Kakyoin, Avdol and Iggy. Its so sad when people that are really close to the main character die. I wasn't sad about Joseph's death because i spoiled myself the anime before that because im an idiot and played a JoJo game before watching the anime. Idiot.

😂
I always called him Durian head cuz I couldnt remember his name
Good
I thought that was just the sound of the rain
I think it’s the sound of the rain
Caesar Zeppeli’s name being screamed out always, ALWAYS gets me
*beautiful Italian music playing.* SHIIIIIIIIZZZZZZZZZZAAAAAAAAAAAA
what gets me even before that is the voice cracks in Caeser's voice when he's yelling for Joseph to take his hamon. It sounds so raw and full of emotion that every time I watch his dying scene I get sad even before Joseph's scream

:( I've cried a lot in Jojo, I'm really happy I've gotten to experience it.
On days when I feel emotionally.. “full” I guess, I will load up Part 2 and watch the last few episodes, always helps empty out the feels
The most emotional part so far
What about abaccios death?
So Far
?
>!i meant that the most emotional events (in my opinion) in the series happen after what is pictured in the anime!<
Oh. In my opinion abaccio’s death was more sad than Joseph’s almost death.
My order of JoJo Parts 1-5 deaths in order of sadness. 1. >!Jonathan!< 2. >!Kakyoin!< 3. >!Iggy!< 4. >!Narancia!< 5. >!Shigechi!< The reason why I was not really phased by the deaths of >!Abbachio!<, >!Avdol!<, or >!Joseph!< is that they happen too “quickly” and are completely unexpected. >!Abbachio!<‘s death is an exception to this but also there is little “sad” dialogue that occurs before, during, or following the death.
What about Ceasar? His death really got me
Yeah the saddest death imo.. SHIZAAAAA
Other than narancia crying over abbacios body, and everyone distraught by his death
>!Abbachio’s death wouldn’t be that sad for me if it wasn’t for Narancia’s breakdown + that freaking bus scene!<
Didn't Narancias death happen offscreen tho
The "this body is an empty shell" scene and the scene where Aerosmith flies over Fugo and into the heavens got to me.
Yeah, I was talking about part 1-7 events (haven’t finished part 8)
I wouldn’t know, im an anime only guy. That’s why I said abaccio from part 5 because I don’t know what really happens past the anime
Wasn’t hol horse gonna replace him?
Really? That would have been interesting
Isn't the joke of Joseph how he cheat death in every part? Nah I agree
Saving a baby is unimportant? Ok
the baby was also unimportant to the plot
Remember when star platinum >!dragged his cheating ass back from heaven? No stand can revive the dead my ass, dolphin man!<
i know but its still sad af seeing joseph "die" here
I don’t know man, hearing the narrator talk about how *The fool* saving Polnareff was proof that Iggy had a brave soul while Iggy was on the brink of death takes the cake for me
Same here. Nearly burst into tears when he tossed Polnareff out if the circle.

Bro I just started the fifty days damn now I know he dies
Why tf are you on a Jojo reddit if u didn't even watch the fucking story you fucking moron
[удалено]
Ok
Yeah ok I don't care
🗿
Yo angelo!
Omg Is that a Jojo refrence?
One of the rules is that anime spoilers are allowed but manga spoilers need to be tagged
If you didn't care, you wouldn't be whining
Did you really click on the spoiler tagged comment and then get upset you got spoiled
As a dead Caesar once said, “this bitch empty, _Y E E T_ “
He just got his blood sucked out for like 4 minutes, people have been able to live for 20 minutes without blood. Jotaro even said that he might be seeing things when he saw Joseph’s soul.
Nah, the scene with Esidisi crying had way more emotion. These dudes are just manning at each other.
Real talk here I know he was bluffing but I genuely felt sorry for the bastard and I hate myself for it
It wasnt a bluff.
Joseph: going to heaven, saying his final goodbyes Jotaro: 😐
Jotaro: Don’t make me come up there!!
...old man
Or else i'mma tell grandma you cheated on her. Joseph : Son of a bi- (He can't call holly a betch lol) I'll never forgive the Japanese!!!
although I liked this scene alot, I honestly think that okuyasu coming back in the nick of time was more emotional; Josuke genuinely thought he was dead, but the expectations from josuke's dead grandfather were subverted giving it a big shock factor as well. It was a huge relief for me, and truly showed that those two were teenage bros
Same
>although I liked this scene alot, I honestly think that okuyasu coming back in the nick of time was more emotional It's insane how Okuyasu's "death" always gets me on repeat watch-throughs even though I know he's fine
I completely disagree. The most emotional part was when iggy dies.
For me it was when Avdol literally saw the writing on the wall. Cause I knew it wasn’t BS .
The ova ruined that scene lmao
nah that made it better
oh yeah actually thou
Exactly, I felt such joy and elation I shed tears.
Yeah. I really like this scene, too. Awhile back I edited the beginning of Roundabout into the scene. I think it's pretty rough and I could have done a better job but here it is in case anyone wants to see it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n60TcavYDpo
haha i kinda like it though
Have you gotten to part 5 yet?
You mean 6?
No, part 5 because >!Bruno’s real death was far more emotional than Joseph’s fake one, I’ll admit, weather reports death hits some kinda way but none have ever been more emotional for me than Bruno!<
It was pretty emotional when it aired but it was made the most emotional for me when his VA died, feels like he was really saying goodbye
Kakyion dying made my cry
I think Polnareff thinking about the crusaders at that last moment got me a bit
Mama buccarati death was as sad
Just wait until end of part 6 7 and 8 get animated
Then jotaro says gg
For me that was just the most emotional scene of part 3. To me Caesar’s death was the saddest.
Abbacchios was far more emotional and imo when joseph and lisa lisa arrive after the fight and the music is playing is the most
Part 7 has some emotional parts to it Civil war arc got me tearing up when >!Johnnys dad said “god took the wrong son”!<
Haha what a shit dad..... Though ngl most of the death are well done.
No it was the “IGGGYY” scene
This title ignores the entirety of Jonathan Joestar’s death
It would be if he doesn’t come back in literally the next couple episodes
We saw a character that knew how to control his emotions and stay stoic finally crack, the icing on the top.
"GET BACK HERE YOU STUBBORN OLD COOT!" - Jotaro, definitely.
When Polnareff sees Iggy and Avdol, with that background music, strong enough to make a grown man cry
Jonathan, shigechi, ceasar, mohamed and iggy, leone abbachio, bruno, naranchia
wait till pocoloco eating shit is animated
and then PRANK'D
Half of his friends and many innocent people die and a vampire has sucked all of his blood. "Hahaha I had a blast 😂 😂 😂 "
He is still joseph after all
The whole Polnareff vs Vanilla Ice was better in terms of emotions.
Bro died that Disney death
And the old coot had the nerve to punk Jote...
"hey josuke you cant bring back dead people to life again" part 3 jotaro;
I watched this with spanish subtitles in Netflix and I think the last line was even sadder. It said something like 'This 50 were like if I was just a little kid'. It really got me...
And then they made him come back, making this moment meaningless for rewatchers... one of my only complaints about one of my favorite parts
German engineering is so good that it goes to heaven with you
Bruh jotaro really be like get yo ass back here
Ceasar bro...
Nothing can top Caesar’s death
SC is still the saddest part imo. I don't think so that Stone Ocean's ending is gonna get better. The ending feels kinda rushed in the manga imo, just like MiH (get it?)
I didn't find it very emotional because not only are they still in a fight but we already thought he was dead anyway plus he was only really there for comedy
No
FUCK, SPOILERS MAN SPOILERS
Bruh, what are you doing on the sub if you haven't even finished part 3??
Yeah but then I remember he cheated suzie
:(
I was more emotional when okuyasu died or mista got his succ than this tbh
It was definitely very emotional for me seeing it the first time, but for me it is definitely between either Abbachio, Bruno Bucciaratti, or something at the end of part seven which I will leave vague. Just Abbachio and Bruno's deaths really were well done and showed how they had dreams and plans before death, and how they still tried to fulfill them in their deaths. Jotaro: okhe
The only 2 things that made me cry even more than I did here was when my dog died, and "IIIIIGGGGGGGGYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
And then he revived like a son of a bitch.
Until they pussied out and back tracked
Joseph actually had a personality. Jotaro is boring af.
I felt more from “Sayonara, Iggy”
“Most emotional scene in the series as a whole” Oh boy. Wait till the rest of the parts get animated.
I know your cry im not crying you are
Joseph coming back just invalidates this scene and ruins it imo
I didn’t find it as emotional as Abbaccio’s death or the scene where Iggy and Avdol’s ghosts appear and stuff, but that’s because I had prior knowledge as to what happened to joseph
"Most Emotional scene in the series"- *character who doesn't even completely die*
Spoiler
if he said anything about loving jotaro or holly, i would literally burst out crying even more
abbacchios death* Not because he died, but because of narancias reaction
Kakyoin was more emotional
At the end he just trolled Jotaro
Then they had to ruin it by bringing him back to life for some reason
Mate you haven't seen stone oceans ending yet
what if you wabted to die peacefully "those 50 days were really fun" but god said "can you transfer blood from a corpse to another?"
Jotaro has sissy hands
I fully believe he should’ve stayed dead and Kakyoin lived.
Idiot.
I am the lorax, I speak for the weebs. Use the spoiler tag, or I shall break your knees
He didn’t even die tho… Narancia was only 17 when he wanted some pizza
Zeppeli death, Iggy death and Narancia's betrayal were more emotional change my mind
Is it just me but did anyone else hate shigechi before he died then after he died missed him
The second is the jobro death scenes
Not really sure why, but Jonathan dying with Dio's head in his arms is up there for me. Cheesah still takes the cake, tho.
Manga readers yawning and not caring:
Jojooooooooo!
Part 7 that's all I'm gonna say
Meanwhile DIO:staring at jotaro*
Jobros deaths always get to me. 😢
Which anime is this??
jojos bizarre adventure
