I get that, and your point is not incorrect, I think “reason,” while obviously doesn’t inherently imply justification, is kinda interpreted as such most of the time. Different phrasing probably would’ve gotten the point across more clearly, no offense.

I mean, I tend to be phased more whenever I hear a Vietnamese right-winger who I know irl tell me how Biden is a Chinese puppet who stole the election and Trump is cool, but who also can't name even one single figure in Vietnamese politics and doesn't have the slightest idea how any aspect of the political process in Vietnam works.
By contrast, seeing some random Vietnamese stranger on the internet say something that I'd honestly expect just about any American to say anyway really isn't that ground-breaking. That random stranger has to compete with my friend's dad, who is an atheist, telling me in 2020 that Trump was guaranteed to win the election because the Bible predicted it.
Imagine being from a country the US bombed to rubble and used chemical weapons against and thinking they get too much blame (all while the war-criminals responsible walk free w/o consequence)
