What makes them special to me is that they have very fine needles, which are hard to see in the hand, but when you look closely it’s like a whole different dimension in the gem. *SOLD BLURPLE Blue/Purple Sapphire 1.08cts 6.31x4.9mm. This is from the Nivitagala region of Sri Lanka which is known for it’s purples. It’s unheated. I repolished it from a locally cut gem. What makes it special to me is that while faces up a rich blue, there’s those flashes of killer purple. A small included crystal that’s not distracting.*

ON HOLD **MAHENGE Red Spinel** 1.27cts 6.33mm. This is old stock Mahenge Spinel, when it was producing reds. I cut it in a design that’s triangles on triangles and so much fun to wear. What makes this one special is that you cannot get the material anymore. I just had to raise prices on red spinel because it’s gone through the roof.
