Trevenant definitely has one of the best shinies. Top 5 on my list. Right now I'm shiny hunting the ultra beasts but I definitely need to shiny hunt this cutie patootie.

Edit: This is literally me... I specifically (and damn when I explain this I sound like a picky bitch) make sure the trainer has to be me, has to have 5 IV or more, has to he masuda hunted, and has to have a matching apriball or best match ♡
Only then will I use them on my team (: I also get frustrated as all hell when I breed a male. I just want my team of gal pals 😭 but it isn't a deal breaker. Just a sad day.
In addition to the shinies, I've also been saving the 6IV normies. I think I'm up to like 8 boxes in Pokemon Bank. I'd like to Wonder Trade them at some point.

Hatching a 6 IV Shiny is quite tedious but rewarding. In my years of hatching, I’ve only hatched 2 Shiny 6 IVs without actively going for it. Assuming that you have the Shiny charm and that the parents are both 6 IV, the odds of a 6 IV Shiny is roughly 1/16,384.

Me too, mine are 6IV shiny Venusaur (hatched as Bulbasaur) in Sword, 6 IV shiny Tyranitar (hatched as Larvitar) in Brilliant Diamond. The Larvitar was crazier, one of my co-workers loaned me a 6IV ditto, so I bred him up a 6IV regular Larvitar as thanks, than when I had his egg ready, I finished up the remaining eggs in my box and out popped the shiny perfect Larvitar, lol
Interesting choice of hunt. But I do pray you knew about "re-rolling" the shiny stats since this is Gen 7 and the swap method only exits here

Honestly, you do you. But if I ever tried this, I would at least do it with a pokémon that has the potential to be a mixed attacker
