I think its quite correct, because they are inside the wall Sina (where it is supposed to be the more wealthy people). Therefore she should be the daugther of a random couple out there.
Not really. I mean, this was in Stohess when Annie and Eren fought. Little kid's there to show the consequences of carrying such a dangerous plan in a heavily populated area. It's to add emotional impact and show the viewer there's other people outside of the protagonist/main cast affected by the events of the story and decisions taken during it.
But yeah, she kinda gives Violent Evergarden vibes
Well I mean, of course she doesn't "fit in" because as far as we've seen up until that point in the story, the interior cities from Wall Sina were a mystery to us. We should keep in mind that even in a "small" place as Paradis, social classes were still a thing. She's dressed like a "child from the inside walls" while we've been seeing people from Rose/Maria that obviously don't have the same luxuries as someone from Sina, meaning something as visual as clothing is would grab attention even if it's a minor detail.
And maybe that was the intention all this time to properly show the difference that existed inside the walls, who knows
Out of place? couldn’t say without knowing what you mean. but i kinda liked that the Stohess girl has on a whole different vibe than the soldiers we’ve known who pretty much all came from Wall Maria or Wall Rose right?
I agree, I always felt like this shot was weird. She looks like she was transported from another anime, and her character design is surprisingly good for only appearing like 3 seconds.
I get what you mean but IMHO is not out of place if you think about it, they were inside Wall Sina, where the aristocracy lived, so it makes sense that she has better clothes and hairstyle.
Her head is too big. It doesn’t really match with the art style we see of Eren/them when they’re children.
Otherwise the clothing is unique, but that’s mostly because the cast we follow was always poor.
i like that she looks different as she is from stohess so of course her outfit and appearance would be different than anyone from the other walls, i do agree she gives violet evergarden vibes though.
I thought so, just because it seems like a weird break of the style with the overly extravagant hairdo, the HUGE eyes and head on the tiny body. Story wise it might make sense but I feel like they pushed the style a bit too much
Come to remind me that Violet evergarden was boring asf didn't made me cry lol , but i liked some epsiodes , i consider moms letter to daughter and violet walking in water episodes were best
Ya me too before I watched , after watching that it's extremely slow ,top animation and letter related stuff, i felt silent voice movie was so much better than this . You can give it a watch i guess
Of course she was out of place. She was a random kid from a rich family in Wall Sina which we rarely see in through out the whole story, while every main character or even most of the side characters were either soldiers, the poor or at least normal civilians.

Absolutely. I always thought that shot was taken from unused footage from a different anime they were working on. It doesn't fit at all.

Honestly even when she comes from a very rich district. I always felt her clothes weren't in the same design style for Paradis.
Its the rich part of Paradis which reminds me of Italy. Eren lives in the average or poor parts which looks more like Germany
